Morning! Sorry I didn't make it back on again yesterday. Ended up having yet another little drama. This time I had an ache/pain in my right leg. Didn't think too much of it until I suddenly thought about DVT. Rang H and mentioned it and he insisted I ring someone, as did my mum. Long story short is that I ended up having to get checked out at the GPs and they were satisfied that all is okay, as was I after they measured my legs and checked for hot, red, swollen areas. I really hope that's it now, not sure I can handle any more stress this pregnancy!
No plans for today again. H is out late tonight so it'll feel like a long day. I plan on watching a film and eating chocolate once F is in bed. Tomorrow H is taking the day off so we can spend the day together whilst F is at nursery. We probably wont get much time on our own for some time after that!

Morning WG try and take it easy, stress won't do u any good. Xx
AFM sorry I didn't get on yesterday I've come down with a head cold and feeling really crap, worked all day too so felt knackered by the time I got home. Also got my blood results from the hosp and my clotting levels have gone down, no idea why by not the news I wanted to hear on top of a bad day a
Ready. On a better note our cots delivered so we can put it together this weekend!
Hope you're all ok xx

Sorry I haven't been on in couple of days, but I've been quite busy!
WG - glad all is well. Day off with H sounds good!
MrsL - sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish. Can you call in sick?
AFM - went to see midwife on Tues and I've only grown 1cm in 4 weeks but still borderline on the small side of normal. She was going to send me for a scan but rang her senior and they decided not to and for me to just monitor movements. I have an extra appointment next week to check how I'm doing. Now of course I'm worrying something is wrong with the placenta and I just want baby here now! I know I need to trust they know what they are doing but I can't help but worry. Movements have been ok though. Carpet being fitted today which has been stressing me out getting the furniture moved. I really don't like my landlady and she's coming round to collect the old carpet this morning so I might pop out to my mums to get out the way. I'm restricted to my bedroom anyway as there is no furniture downstairs! Carpet fitters coming between 12-3 so I need to be back for then anyway.
Hello to those that follow! X

WG hope that's the last of your worries! Film and chocolate sounds like a great idea.
Mrs l hope you start to feel a bit better. Its not nice having a cold and bring pregnant. I found olbas oil helped when I had a bunged up nose.
Browny that's good about the appointment next week. Its mean of them to suggest an extra scan then go back on that. Hope that the carpet fitting goes alright.
My little lamb bamboo nappies arrived yesterday and they are so soft! I've put them in for their pre wash with the reusable breast pads I also ordered. I must crack on with the last few household jobs as I only have a week and a half of summer holidays left before going back to work. Not quite sure which ones I should start with first now as I've left the ones I didn't want to do until last. Pregnancy yoga tonight which should be good.

Browny - im at work but will work from home this afternoon so i can rest a bit more. hope your appointment goes well next week.
Bunny - enjoy pregnancy yoga!

Wg fingers xd this is the last of the illnesses
Browny sounds like it's best to get out from the hustle and bustle, hopefully next weeks appt is better
Mrs L hope your cold lifts a bit
Bunny I keep meaning to look I to yoga
Not much happening, tbh, poor baby taking a back seat for now, although Isaac mentioned he might give his dummy to the baby since he is a big boy (I cannot see this happening at all but I suppose it's a nice thought lol ) trying not to think of next week when I must clean baby's bedroom
Take care all x

MrsL - sorry to hear you're feeling a bit rubbish. Honey, lemon and a pinch of cinnamon in hot water soothed my cold recently.
Browny - sometimes it's hard to trust the professionals, isn't it? Especially when one queries something but another thinks it's fine. Try not to worry and hopefully your appointment next week can put your mind at ease.
Bunny - enjoy yoga tonight, I always sleep well after I've been to aquayoga, do you?
RF - that's sweet of I, does he still use his dummy?
I've had yet more drama this morning (you'll all be sick of hearing about it soon). So it turns out that I'm resistant to the antibiotics they've given me for my UTI. The doctor called me this morning to discuss an alternative but because I'm allergic to penicillin and resistant to another of the possibilities they're struggling to come up with one that I can take safely. Apparently she had to call microbiology at the hospital to discuss it and they've asked for another urine sample to double check before giving me something else. I'm rather annoyed because the original sample obviously showed I have a UTI yet I've got to suffer until the results come back for this new test and they decide what to give me. Feeling proper sorry for myself! I also don't like the idea of leaving a UTI untreated but there we go.

Hello! Is this the place where people have babies? Can I join you all?
WG - gosh you are going through the mill. You poor thing it must be really frustrating. Hope you feel better soon.
Mrs L - hope you start to feel a bit better soon. Lots of honey and lemon.
Browny - hopefully the next appt will put your mind at rest. It's so hard not to worry though isn't it?
Bunny - enjoy yoga. Same here with only a week and a half to go. Can't believe how quickly it has gone.
TRF - we need to do baby's room too. It's a dumping ground at the moment!
AFM I cannot believe that I have made it to here. Been putting it off as we had a growth scan today and I am so paranoid with my history that it was all going to go wrong. However we have a 3llb baby in there who is already head down! I can't believe it. Not up to much as had whooping cough jab yesterday and anti d today so my arms are killing me! Need to start getting organised really. We've not really brought a thing! Looking forward to getting to know you all. X

Bunny - I loved washing all my nappies :) are you using them straight away? I've got bumgenius all in ones so will be using disposable at first until they fit. Enjoy yoga!
RF - bless Isaac - nice gesture anyway!
WG - not great that you have to go untreated but it is better that they make sure what they give you is safe and will work. Drink lots of water!
GB - welcome! Lovely to see you here. Starting to feel real?! I know I couldn't believe it when I made the move to third tri. If I'm honest it still feels sureal and almost like this is happening to someone else. Get buying stuff! (and don't forget to flash of course!) ;)
Carpet fitters are here. Making lots of banging noises and now I have a headache! The carpet is a lot lighter than I thought (landlady picked it out and told it was a neutral colour) which is going to be hard to keep clean with a cat and baby! At least we have a carpet cleaner! :/
21/08/2014 at 16:27
Thank you browny. It is just about starting to sink in now I think. I still don't think I will believe it even when I'm holding a baby! My parents are getting us the pram and have been nagging me for ages about ordering it so we are all off shopping on Sunday! Sorry the carpet fitters are being so noisy. Hope they are finished soon! X
21/08/2014 at 16:43
Pram shopping is exciting! Although overwhelming. Defo go with a short list of things you want from the pram. I.e. Weight of it (are you small?) and whether you need the handle to adjust (you and H different heights?) also if you want it to go off road, just want to use for around town/city, walks etc. one factor to consider that isn't immediately obvious when you look is how accessible the shopping basket it with the carrycot, car seat and pram seat on. There are so many to chose from it's much easier if you can narrow the search down lol x
21/08/2014 at 17:19
Wg - I think the difficulty is that you have an allergy, resistance and are pregnant which dwindles the options tbh, hopefully this new sample will show a specific bacteria and it can be treated. Yes Isaac still has his dummy for his night sleep, have been broaching the subject about getting rid but wanted him potty trained first. I'm off next week so we might go cold turkey
Gb - glad scan was well, don't worry we aren't organised in the slightest, rest of the house is but nothing baby wise lol
Browny hope the headache goes
I'm not amused, my h has buggered off out with all the school mums and dads as they have been to a bday party, they have all gone back to our friends for dinner and drinks , I'm having a bowl of noodles for tea [grump]
21/08/2014 at 18:02
Rf I hope you get a nice meal tomorrow instead, although I am partial to noodles!
WG I hope they sort it out soon and you don't suffer too much over the next few days.
GB welcome! Buying the baby bits is definitely fun.once you start its hard to stop I've found!
Browny not sure I think it will depend on the size of baby. I plan on just using them at home first of all in the day as I don't really know what I'm doing with them! Hope that the carpet fitters have gone now.
21/08/2014 at 19:00
GB - lovely to have you join us, so pleased your recent scan went well. Enjoy pram shopping at the weekend! It is rather overwhelming but you'll soon have a good idea of what you like/don't like.
Browny - I hope the carpet got fitted okay eventually and you didn't end up with too much of a headache!
RF - trust me to be a difficult case, eh! Perhaps I wanting to give his dummy to the baby is a sign he's ready to give it up, you never know. Can't believe your H has gone out with the school parents, I think that'd be my H's worst nightmare lol. He's not big on conversation at the best of times.
21/08/2014 at 19:46
Aw thanks girls!
Browny - think we have decided on the oyster 2. We've given it a test drive just didn't want to part with the money. Hope carpet is all done and headache has gone!
TRF - boo to your H going out. I've now got my H and dad on the case to paint the spare room
Bunny - we have brought some bits but I feel like I can get the big stuff now!
WG - after a lot of research think we are done on the big stuff. Hope you are feeling ok tonight. X
