couldn't see a thread yet for today.
Massive congrats to BG. Sounds like it all happened fairly quickly in the end, looking forward to her birth story
AFM not much to report, MW went well yesterday, only one more appointment left before my pre op appointment. Scary stuff!
Hope everyone is well. Is anyone in need of baby out vibes yet?
JT 36 weeks

Morning JT - yes, great news about Bridget, can't wait to hear all about it.
I had MW too yesterday and also only have one more routine appointment before they will book me in for induction. Baby's heartbeat seemed quite low to me, at one point it was only 110bpm but would go up to about 120/130 when moving. She didn't seem worried though. Still engaged 2/5 which it has been for a few weeks now.
I am off into town this morning to do the last few bits of shopping. I'm dragging my Mum along with me as I'm a bit nervous to go too far on my own now. I'll certainly take any Baby Out vibes as I seemed to have suddenly crossed that threshold of being a bit fed up with it now, even though this is 100% my last baby I just want to meet him!
Hello to all that follow!

lots of baby out vibes to you Noggin, looking forward to my pester baby arriving soon!
E's heartbeat was about the same as yours, old wives tales suggest that boys hb's are lower than girls so you are probably just used to higher heartbeats with your previous pregnancies x

Big congrats to BG again :)
JT glad mw went well, not long now.
Noggin I know what you mean about not wanting to venture too far. Baby out vibes to you >>>>>>
AFM feeling very achy in my lower region today, wondering if baby is moving down? Taking mum and MIL to kiddicare today, I don't really need anything but they are excited to legitimately be able to look round (first grandchild for both) so that should be nice. Didn't sleep great last night so am hoping for a nap this afternoon :)
Thanks Ferbs - I have a feeling it's going to be induction, but either way that baby is coming sometime in the next two weeks!! One of the MW's I saw is absolutely convinced that boys HB's are lower than girls, he's obviously very chilled out in there!!

Morning Popcorn, definitely take a nap this afternoon. Even I sneaked one in yesterday afternoon and I was still in bed asleep by 9.30 last night!! Enjoy Kiddicare!

JT - Not long to go!
Noggin - Hope baby makes an appearance soon.
Popcorn - Hope your aching doesn't spoil the shopping trip.
Mrs Bass - Enjoy being able to laze :-)
AFM - Still not feeling right today, tummy is a lot worse this morning which I don't understand as I haven't eaten anything to cause it - just going to put it down to another pregnancy joy! Got midwife at 13:30 today, not much else planned really.

Afternoon all, quiet in here today!
Congrats to BG - can't wait to hear the name!
JT - just one more appointment, eek! Glad it went ok yesterday.
Noggin - sending baby out vibes to you! Has the plan always been to induce you, or is it only if you go over?
Popcorn - enjoy kiddicare... and more importantly, your nap!
Mrs Bass, hope you're enjoying your lazy day! When is your birthday?
BE - hope you feel better soon, and that MW appointment is going ok.
AFM - finally managing to catch up on some sleep! I still wake every hour during the night, but now I'm on leave I am able to go back to sleep at 7am when H gets up, and am sleeping through til 10 - bliss! On the negative side, I have developed the most horrendous, itchy, bumpy rash thing all over my bump, which has now spread to my thighs. I'm 99% sure it's PEP (polymorphic eruption of pregnancy) thanks to Dr Google. I wake up in the night positively clawing at myself and there is little to relieve it so it's quite distressing. Cold flannels ease it while they're on the hives but none of the creams I've tried help so far. GP appointment this afternoon; looks like they're likely to prescribe topical steroids and probably antihistamines. It worries me a bit as I have worked so hard throughout pregnancy to avoid all drugs (including not taking paracetamol even when the SPD has been crippling, and not taking antihistamines when I was suffering badly with hayfever for 2 months) but I don't think I can 'just put up with' this one!
Gosh that was moany, sorry! I also have whooping cough (et al) vaccine after the GP. Next MW appointment is at home for them to also do my homebirth assessment (ie check access points and find out where the house is!) in 10 days, but before that I have a scan to check positioning as baby was so far down at the 34 week appt that MW couldn't be sure she could feel the head. It worried me a bit, but she did say if she had to bet on it she's say head down, and I've been feeling hiccups right down in my right hip, heartbeat is low, and kicks are high so I'm also fairly happy we are head down. MW said if we were planning a hospital birth they wouldn't worry but if it's breech and we still go for HB then it helps everyone to know what to expect. So, scan on Wednesday - can't wait to see baby again, we've not had any scans since 21 weeks!

Mrs 50s - Rash sounds nasty! Hope baby is head down at the scan.
Midwife appointment was all good. She said baby is head down which I've known for the past week due to how much I'm getting kicked high up! Got an antenatal class tomorrowaafternoon, not sure what to expect!

Back from Kiddicare and was quite well behaved and managed not to spend a fortune - just more bedding, a mobile, some sun shield things for the car windows - nothing particularly exciting, sorry!
Trip was slightly delayed when my bloody cat brought in a pigeon and demolished it in the house - the place looked like a scene from a horror film. Normally I'm pretty good with sorting these things out but this was beyond even me - I had to get my MIL to come round early and clear it up for me This is the same cat that is currently being treated by the vet for an upset stomach, no bloody wonder!
Mrs Bass - enjoy your lazy afternoon. I'm such a Bake Off addict, love it! When is your birthday?
BE - sorry you're not feeling great still, glad your MW appointment went well though.
Mrs 50s - oh love you are really suffering! Hope the doctors goes well. I know how you mean about wanting to avoid any kind of drugs etc, I've taken nothing throughout my pregnancy and would like to continue that throughout labour as well but if you're suffering as much as it sounds like then I would see if the doctor can prescribe you something to help. What creams have you tried?
