Morning ladies. Hope everyone is well :)
Slightly disturbed night for me as hubby has a nasty bug, although most of the 'action' happened whilst I was at work yesterday. He's pretty crook :( Can't believe I'm 34 weeks today, I remember wishing to get to 5 weeks, 6 weeks and so on. Never imagined I'd end up here, now. Still need to pack hospital bags/prep for birth. Whooping cough jab today before work. Lots to do at work, things are getting a little fraught and I am definitely struggling to care/concentrate as much as I would in normal circumstances. Hope to squeeze in a few more zeds before the alarm goes off :)

What a shame for your H :( hope he's feeling better today. Has he not been sent to the spare room confinement area? You don't want to risk catching anything. Happy 34 weeks! Please do get packing that bag!! It's undoubtedly hard to keep focused at work - your instincts and prioritises are elsewhere now!
I've been awake for about half an hour and despite feeling knackered my back is too sore to get comfy again. Think I'll be up for the day sadly. Had the MW yesterday and baby D has rolled back to back :( a bit gutted but am going to get down on my hand and knees daily and start rocking to encourage baby round. No real signs of engagement either. Booked in for a sweep next Thursday and induction date will be the 17th if nothing happens before then. Defo feeling real now!! Am out and about seeing 3 different sets of friends today so that should keep me busy/distracted!

Counter- get packing, hope h feels better soon xxx
Sweet pea- oh sending you lots of baby moving vibes Hun xx
Afm- just woke the house up screaming as I had my first episode of cramp haha, think h thought I was in labour and the dog did too. I had a husband rubbing my leg and a dog licking my face to make sure I'm alright. Now the h is snoring but the dog won't leave my side haha

Monnie that made me chuckle!! I can imagine the high drama!! Cramp is horrible! Your wee doggie's reaction is what so makes me want one - so sweet!
ABC - good news that the kitchen is progressing and work is busy! I hate that feeling of needing the bathroom but not really needing!
Thank you ABC and AR for the positive turning stories! gives me hope!

Just had to check the time - busy thread this morning!
Counter, hope you got back to sleep. Yay for 34 weeks! Hope your H doesn't pass on his bug x
SP, great that you have an induction date already! At least you know the maximum time you have to go, although hopefully baby won't keep you waiting that long. Hope you get baby turned x
Monnie, cramp is horrible, poor you. Hope you didn't get anymore. I got loads of leg cramps with M, not really had any this time, strange!
ABC, sounds like things are going well both with work and kitchen! When should your kitchen be completed?
AR, great that you had a good sleep, especially before a busy work day.
Isis, happy due date, good luck with the mw. You might get a sympathetic one who will sweep. Baby out vibes to you x
AFM, H and I had a LOVELY night last night! I made a really nice dinner, we sat and enjoyed it without a little person dropping food or chatting constantly, then were tidied up and sitting down before 7 - usually H is taking M to bed around then and I'm trying to make the house look normal again at that time! We watched a dvd and snuggled up together, it was lovely! And this morning...well it's 745 ish and I'm in bed relishing the silence! That all said, I'm missing my girl like crazy
Yesterday I dyed some muslins that I had from when M was a baby, bright green and blue. They look fab, so pleased with how they turned out.
Today, got scan at 11:05 then seeing consultant after that. Then at 2pm got breastfeeding antenatal class, then picking up mum and M. Will be glad to get section date, and get M back :)
Baby outlines to mrsv!

Counter-Hope you got a bit more sleep, sorry your H is poorly, hope he gets better soon
SP- I hope the rocking works for you
Monnie- Welcome to 3rd tri
ABC- Glad all is well
AR- Boo to the long day, any more signs since the mucus plug
Isis- Good luck on the sweep
WE- Good luck with the scan and getting the section date
AFM- I am in full on nesting mode. We fell asleep with the tv on the other night, and when I was stirring there was some long advert on about steam cleaners, which kept popping into my dreams. I have now steam cleaned, the shower, tiles, front door, radiators ?!? Babywise I've woken up this morning with a solid stomach it's like a braxton hicks but it's not easing off, not sure what it is, it's not painful just uncomfortable.

Counter- Hope your H is better soon. Hope jab is ok, mine didnt hurt much. Yay to 34 weeks :) do you feel its going quickly?
Sweetpea- Oh no, hopefully you can turn baby.I have read lots of positive stories online about turning them. I am not suprised it feels real now, you don't have long left! Enjoy your day, hopefully you can nap later to catch up on some sleep.
Monnie- Cramp is awful isn't it! I had it bad the other night. Bless your dog though.
ABC- Glad works going well. How long do you have left? I am with you on the feeling of needing a wee!
AR- Boo to your long day. Glad you got a good sleep. I seem to be suffering with back at too, not nice is it.
Isis- Happy due date :) Hopefully not long left for you. Hope the midwife app goes well.
Weekender- Glad you had a lovely night :) Thats a great idea with the muslins, very creative. Hope the scan and consultant goes well. Enjoy getting M back.
AFM- Had quite a good sleep last night, woke up early but still managed to run lae for work, wooops. Got quite a busy week which is nice as it will make my last week at work go quick :) Boss is interviewing another person for my mat cover today, if she gets the job I onl have like 2 days to handover, oh well I am not going to get stressed by it, they have had since October.
Someone asked me when I was due yesterday and when I said April they were shocked, think my bump is rather big! Watched one born with H last night, But the one at the end with the big bleed freaked me out a bit!

BLL sorry cross posted, Ha that made me laugh. Make sure you dont tirer yourself out though!
25/02/2014 at 10:06
Don't think I have time for personals at the moment. Might try and get on later.
All OK here. Not sure if you saw my post yesterday but I have to go into hospital on Thursday to have an iron infusion! Sounds like fun! Am hoping to feel the benefits within a few days of having it.

Counter - Hope you don't catch what your H has and hope you managed some more sleep.I know what you mean about work, I was exactly the same before I left and I never thought I'd feel like that!
SP - Move baby moves for you, sounds like you are doing everything you can. With regards to engagement I'm not sure it means a lot as my baby has been engaged for 4 weeks now! Hope you have fun catching up with friends.
Monnie - Sorry about the cramp, must have scared your H and the dog!
ABC - The joys of pregnancy hey? Glad the kitchen is coming along nicely.
AR - Rubbish you have such a long day, hope it goes quickly for you.
Isis - Hope you get a sweep today. I'm thinking of asking for one on Thursday!
WE - Glad you had a lovely evening. Good luck with scan and consultant appointment today.
BLL - I keep wondering about getting a steam cleaner, maybe now isn't the time though :) Can't help with the stomach hardness, does sound like BH's though.
Bertie - Fingers crossed your mat cover gets sorted today, it will be a weight off your mind.
AFM - Last night I actually thought things might have been happening, I was having frequent braxton hicks which were uncomfortable. Didn't tell H in case it didn't come to anything.... and it didn't. Once I got to sleep they disappeared! So been out walking the dog this morning in the hope of moving things along. Going to try and chill out about it all as well because I am conscious that I could be waiting for another 2 weeks.

Section 4 - Hope the iron infusion goes well and you feel better for it.

Oh SP, back to back is annoying. Good luck with persuading baby to shift around :)
Monnie, dogs are sooo adorable when you're not okay. Hope the cramp doesn't return
AR - there's nothing fun about the end part of it all is there? Hang in there, not *that* much longer.
Isis - seems a bit petty that you're only 40w and not 40w+ but at least you get another crack at it later this week!
W/E - glad the evening was lovely, although we miss our kids it's still important to enjoy the time when they're busy elsewhere! Hope all is well at appointments today. You've done well to come so far.
BLL - that's funny. Subliminal cleaning messages, mine needs doing too if you get bored :)
Bertie - I think it *is* going quickly, but mainly because there's pressure on at home and work to tick things off. That said, it still seems ages away until I get to meet Baxter. I hate not knowing timescales, I am someone who's used to being in control, making things happen when they need to, but baby's in charge - not me! Hope the person being interviewed is a good fit, be nice to at least have met your cover.
S4 - I think the iron benefit happens really quickly, so here's to feeling better very soon :)
Mrs V - 2 weeks of walking is a lot of walking, huh?! It's hard to be patient. Hopefully the action was a sign of things to come over the next few days.
