Hi BE I'm ok thanks. Tried to post yesterday but I kept getting some random message pop up saying I didn't have access to reply to the thread. Weird, so I gave up in the end. I'm phoning the surgery today to make my booking appointment for next week. Hopefully they'll have a space. I've got two days off now then back at work on Thursday then off for Easter til the 15th. Going away to visit family this weekend then having a few days with H and Isla on our own which will be great. Think i'm around 7+3 now. Hi to all that follow x

BE - Nice to have you back, hope your feeling less tired now
MrsB - Enjoy your days off and Easter
AFM - Went to look at cars yesterday and i fell in love with the Nissan Micra. Me and H are booked in for a test drive on Thursday. Waiting for them to get back to us about what deals they can do on finance. Also were trying to work out if the boot is big enough to fit a pram in. Anybody got any ideas? I can't wait to get my first car so that i can just get up and go wherever i feel like. We also went and bought our Easter Eggs yesterday, i ate one of the galaxy bars out of mine and H has already eat some of his egg, haha, we are naughty.
Hi to everyone that follows xx

MummyS, a car is essential if you're having a baby I think, much easier to get around! No idea about getting prams in boots though.
Well thank god Tuesday is my day at home. Yesterday morning I threw up after breakfasts, went to work and then cried in the toilets because I was asked to do playground duty haha. I desperately need a holiday! I've also caught a cold, which isn't helping. Today I'm going to sit very quietly and hope that I can make it through without being sick. I'm overjoyed that I'm finally getting pregnancy symptoms but they are wearing me out a bit!

BE hope you are well
MrsB fingers crossed you get your booking in appointment sorted
MS I used to have a micra, I absolutely loved it. Bought it just before I found out I was pregnant. They are well known as reliable cars I was always told. The boot is very small though. When we were pram shopping that was our main issue for ruling a lot out as they wouldn't fit in the boot. I bought a silver cross surf as that fit in the boot nicely. You could fit some others in- the m&p sola, and the oyster, but you had to put the frame in before the seat which wasn't practical for when its raining and you then have to put your seat on the floor to be able to put the frame in if that makes sense. Ours was also a three door version which made it awkward for getting baby in the car seat. I would say get a five door. We didn't have it all that long after W was born as we decided I would not return to work and would be a SAHM and so sold it sadly. But yes they are good, only downside is the boot space.
AFM nothing new. My back is killing at the moment which really worries me about if it gets worse how I will manage when I get big. Just have to see how things go.

Made my booking appointment, they didn't have one space for next week! so I'm going the week after on the 9th. As its baby no. 2 MW says I won't need a double appointment this time.

Glad you've got an appointment! Not long to wait.

BE, welcome back, tiredness is a pain isn't it? :(
MrsB, have a lovely time over Easter!
MummyS, hope you sort the car space issue, I have no advice on it. I don't drive but lessons again soon! Hope you enjoyed the Easter eggs! :o)
TT, I am sorry you are suffering, take it as easy as you can x
Jellytot, backache is awful, sorry you are suffering xx
AFM, well the symptoms are coming quickly now. Cramps are still happening, sometimes quite a lot but trying to be positive! I have been getting lots of nosebleeds too and am very bunged up. Have gone off tea and coffee a bit and just don't know what I fancy to eat. The tiredness is the main one, I am exhausted. I don't know if it is the pregnancy or my dramatic reduction of caffeine intake! lol. All of these are good though as mean baby is sticking! there!
Saw the GP yesterday about my history of mc and he said we can get an early scan next week! Hoping to see a tiny heartbeat. I think I am around 5+1 and around the 29th November, we shall see next week I suppose!
Have a good day! x

BE - nice to see you, hope you're feeling ok. Take it easy x
MrsB - enjoy your time off, sounds lovely. Sorry that you have to wait for your booking in app but glad you got it sorted.
MS - exciting about the car! I can't offer any advice on the boot space though although that it one of my concerns about buying a pram. How do you know if it will fit until you've bought it and tried to get it home?!?
TT - sorry you're feeling rubbish but agree it's always reassuring to have symptoms!
JT - hope your back ache eases
Chimpanzee - I had lots of cramps early on but they disappeared eventually, it's worrying I know. Great news about your early scan though, hopefully that will put your mind at ease.
AFM - it's scan day!!!!!!!!! I'm excited and terrified in equal measures. Still feeling sick, exhausted and eating everything in sight so I'm reassured by the symptoms but just still feel so worried that something could go wrong. Scan is at 1:30 so will pop back on and update you all later x

Good luck at your scan popcorn x

Thank you :)
Back from scan now and it was brilliant! All was fine. We had a trainee sonographer who took ages doing everything which was fine by us because we just stared at the screen, watching baby Popcorn wriggle about and wave. Then her supervisor came in and did everything again to double check it all, so we got to see baby loads. They put me forwards by a day so my EDD is now 3 October. Then they accidentally printed out loads of scan pictures because they couldn't work out why it wasn't printing (no paper!) so when they finally got paper, it printed loads! They told us to smuggle them out so that the receptionist wouldn't charge us for them. Score!

That sounds like it was really good Popcorn, and so good that you got so many copies of the scan pics. xx
