I'm feeling quite tired today after a battle of wills last night, consisting of L not wanting to be in her bed and getting out of it a lot. However, I persevered and she fell back asleep in it till just past 6am. I've got my 20 week scan through already so that'll be something to look forward to. I'm going to be sorting out the house today and getting it tidy before going back to work tomorrow.
i hope everyone is ok.

Morning! I typed a long post out last night with personals and MD ate it so I have up!
DS - loved your bag yesterday, very pretty. I was up a few times in the night with my 2 as well, then R was really naughty 1st thing this morning so it hasn't been a good start to the day! Don't overdo if too much with the housework lol .
I have my booking in appt tomorrow morning, scan in 2 weeks, strange for me as both times previously scan and booking in have all been at the same appointment. Not much planned for today, just waiting for lunchtime when R goes to nursery and O naps for some peace and quiet and a bit of food shopping this afternoon.
Hi to everyone else x

Ds -Sorry to hear about L but glad you stayed strong! When is your 20 week scan? We book ours at the 12 week scan here so I will know after my 12 weeks altho I am having a 16 week too!
DD- Yay to scan in two weeks that will fly by! Hope you get your peace and quiet!
Afm - Still feeling sick and had baf indigestion last night! Counting down to my 1st appointnent next week! Cant wait! Feels more reak when you have apoointments!
03/06/2014 at 11:37
DS, sorry to hear that L wouldn't settle, but good on you for persevering! Hopefully you can all have an early night tonight.
DD, I also find it odd that the appointments are separate, but for me they are in two different places too! Is it the same for you?
CC, have you got Rennies? I bought some the other week and they were much needed!
AFM - just had my booking in and feeling a bit queasy after the bloods, probably because I haven't had brekkie! Currently in a cafe having a toastie before heading to Uni for the day. Midwife was lovely, and I can't wait to read my Ready Steady Baby book! Counting down the days til the scan now

I dont have heartburn to much but yes have some tablets!
Yay to booking in appointment hope the toastie made you feel better have a nice time at uni... whats the ready steady baby book?
03/06/2014 at 12:09
DD - Oh dear, I hope your day is getting better. Having the appointments separate is the norm here.
CC - Totally agree about the appointments. I second Rennies - I loved the fruit flavoured ones when I was pregnant with L.
Saffron - Glad you had your booking in appointment - I hope that toastie has done the job.
My 20 week scan is on the 24th July, which is the anniversary of when H and I first got together (13 years ago!) so that's going to be lovely.
03/06/2014 at 12:16
DS I prefer the mint ones lol!
Oh that will be lovely!

No time for personals but I just wanted to share that I gave in and just booked a private scan for Fri. I know I need to be cautious but I am so excited! Couldn't wait 9 full days (which I know is a bit silly)!
03/06/2014 at 14:59
CC - Rennies might help even though you don't have heartburn. I've been eating lots of fruity chewy sweets, any excuse! Have you heard about your H's job yet?
Saff - yes my appointments are in 2 different places and more annoyingly the booking in is in a health centre about 20 mins drive away when I think my antenatal clinics will be in the clinic 2 minutes round the corner! Is your scan at SG? I feel like I know the ready steady baby book from cover to cover having had it twice before! I was craving a cheese and onion toastie all last week, still am in fact, my home made one wasn't quite the same!
Rio - not too long to wait until Friday then, exciting!
DS - that's lovely that your scan is on a special date.
03/06/2014 at 15:08
Rio - Oh lovely about your private scan! Let us know how it goes :)
DD - I will give them a go - I have lots of mints too so hopefully that will help too.. I am not too bad today!
Yes we heard I updated the original thread forgot to add it here sorry! Basically he saw him today after his night shift (So I only know a little bit of details until he wakes)
The Governor is happy for him to be transferred but Is going to hold him until new post's have started..We don't know when this will be so haven't got a timeline as such just a step in the right direction!.
He has a good case for transfer compared to others that have asked for a transfer so Hubby is top of the list of transfers so he will be the first one to be transferred which is fantastic! So a little vague on time line and stuff but it's a step in the direction we need!
03/06/2014 at 16:06
That's great news CC, at least you have something to look forward to even if you don't yet know when.
03/06/2014 at 16:30
Spoken to Hubby.. and apparently there's rumours people are coming in October... and if not then he knows for deff they are having some in December so hopefully it's going to be later this year!!
Thank you :D

DS, that will be a lovely day for you both
CC, the Ready Steady Baby book is the big book that the midwives give you on pregnancy, labour and the early days. Exciting news about your H.
DD, yes, SGH for scans and Pollok for midwife appointments, what about you?
Rio, that's very exciting, bet you can't wait!!
AFM - drumroll please..................I just cooked and ate a proper dinner...for the first time in weeks! A combination of not feeling up to eating a full meal and not feeling up to cooking. I went to Morrisons today and bought some little organic meals that are meant for kids but they're just the right size for my snacking. I had a macaroni cheese with a bag of steamed veg and it was amazing! I've been feeling really guilty about growing baby exclusively on crisps and lucozade so very happy.
03/06/2014 at 18:30
Oh I haven't had that book :(!
Yay to cooking and eating a proper dinner! Haha love the little oranic meals for kids haha! I love mac and cheese so jealous! lol!
03/06/2014 at 18:33
Is it a Scottish thing maybe? Sure you will get something though. Thanks, I feel awesome for having something proper!
03/06/2014 at 18:35
Think it must be scottish thing.. I just got lots of small leaflets last time :)!
I bet must of been hard not eating!
03/06/2014 at 20:07
I think Ready Steady Baby is a scottish book.
Staff - SGH for scans, Drumchapel tomorrow for booking in but I'm hoping after that my Midwife appointments will be in my local clinic as they were last time and it's just round the corner as opposed to a 15-20 minute drive tomorrow.
M&S kids meals are really nice, my girls love them!
03/06/2014 at 21:18
Yes I googled it and it's a scotland thing :) They even have an app.. Might be worth a look Saffron
