Good luck today Imp! Can't wait to see a new pic of Happy Feet :) And Happy Banana Day! You're half way there, woohoo!
Sorry you've been feeling so rubbish Coco, I hope you feel much better soon.
AFM, busy day at work so I won't be around much today, but will catch up with everyone later. Currently trying to decide if I want to wash my hair or have an extra half hour in bed...decisions decisions!
Hope you're all well xx

Morning ladies, sorry no personals but O is just waking! Just wanted to say good luck imp for today, I have a really good feeling for today and hope it's an amazing day for you. I'll be back later!xx
18/02/2014 at 07:01
Very best of luck to Impmfor your scan today. I'm confident everything will be ok. Can't wait for the pic and a report xxx
Coco - hope you start feeling better soon. That's brilliant that your little one is coming on so well.
Fig - what did you decide?? I'd have opted for the extra half hour in bed!!!!! Hope your day goes quick if you're busy.
AFM - I struggle to get on through the day so I'm going to try to up date before I head to work in the mornings. I had planned to start yesterday but I was running late ie I couldn't get out of bed!!!! I need to leave for work about 7am or shortly thereafter so it just depends how organised I am.
Everything ok with me pregnancy wise. Only 1 more sleep until scan. Not sure I'll actually get any sleep tonight though!!!
Hi to all that follow xxx
Hey MissDD. Hope you and O are well lovely xxx

Hey lovey, were good thanks. I've been dipping in to check on you ladies and can't believe its scan time for you already! Are you finding out tomorrow or going team yellow? I have a guess for you but I've no idea for imp!xx
18/02/2014 at 07:08
Thanks for all the well wished ladies. I'm very nervous and the scan isn't until late this afternoon so I've all day to panic!
Coco I hope your ibs eases soon, what did the doctor say?
Fig did you wash your hair? I would have just used the dry shampoo!
CA not long for your scan either, I hope you sleep tonight.
MDD thanks lovely lady. How's little O now?
Well happy 20 weeks for me and happy feet! Will update as soon as I can later but it might not be until quite late.

Best of luck imp and happy half way day! :-)
18/02/2014 at 07:58
Morning ladies! Sorry I didn't get on for a few days. I've had a busy few days at work but now have a couple of days off.
Coco - hope you feel better soon.
Fig - I'd have had the extra time in bed!
CA - in case I don't get on tomorrow, good luck with your scan.
Imp - happy 20 weeks and good luck with your scan lovely lady :)
AFM - grateful for my days off. It's been an awful week at work with tensions between staff boiling over - not a pleasant atmosphere to work in :(
We're heading off to north Cornwall today for a night at the sister hotel to where I work. I didn't manage to book a spa treatment but hopefully we'll have some sunshine to get a walk along the coast and a mooch around Padstow. Also looking forward to having a king-sized bed, large bath to laze in and a posh dinner!

Thanks pep, hope you're feeling ok today. Keep talking to us.xx
Ixia thanks! I hope you have a lovely time away, it sounds fab. Work sounds a bit sucky, will it get better?
18/02/2014 at 08:05
Coco, I hope you ibs settles down soon, but lovely that O had made you smile.
Figaro, I know I opted for longer in bed this morning rather than washing my hair! What did you decide?
CA, scan day tomorrow!! Good luck, I'll come on again to see your update!
Imp, I'm braving the forums on my phone to wish you luck for today. I'll check back on after work, and happy banana day, too :)
AFM, I think I overdid it on day 1 of half term. They should have been made aware I was pregnant, but they weren't, and I didn't say anything until the end of the day because I didn't want to be seen to not pull my weight.. Setting up tables and chairs, bending over lots to pick stuff up, and generally being on my feet all day meant horrible achenes last night and my back still hurts this morning! Definitely going to take it easier today, or I won't last half term. This is ridiculous, but I guess the last half term I worked I was barely pregnant, so didn't realise how much had changed since.

Imp - I'm not sure. Things haven't been great for a long time and are getting worse. Needless to say I'm looking forward to getting my mat leave finalised and start counting down the days until I leave. It's a tense and stressful place to work :(
18/02/2014 at 08:08
Wispa - have a lazy day today. Hope the aches ease soon.
18/02/2014 at 08:12
Thanks Wispa. Take it easy today, it's so easy to forget what your limitations are but you're paying the price now. I hope your aches and pains pass soon, hopefully they'll be more considerate today.
Ixia what plans have you got for mat leave?
18/02/2014 at 08:20
I'm not entirely sure. I think I'm taking mat leave from 38 weeks but taking 2 weeks annual leave prior to that. Unsure whether to apply for 9 or 12 months off (I can do either). Not sure if I'll be returning, but we'll work that out whilst I'm on leave.
18/02/2014 at 08:22
I think I'm going to finish at 36 weeks too but I'll be taking all annual leave for 4 weeks. Can you not say 12 months and then give notice to return earlier if you want to?
18/02/2014 at 08:42
Morning, cor 2 pages already :)
Imp - be thinking of you as all us ladies are, can't wait to see a pic of Happy Feet and a report :) and happy 20wks!
Coco - poor you I hope the IBS settles down and what a proud moment to witness O with his vocabulary, that must be pretty amazing and why not make you proud, lovely.
Fig - hope your day although busy isn't too stressful - did you manage to get your hair washed?
mdd - hi ya, hope you and little O are doing well?
CA - good to hear everything is going well with you and not long now eek!
Pep - hi ya, I hope you are feeling a bit better today after a good nights sleep perhaps?
Ixia - Cornwall sounds bloomin lovely, you have a great time
wispa - ouch, I hope you recover from over doing it yesterday, that doesn't sound good, look after yourself :)
AFM - still in discomfort, gonna text the mw and tell her I think I'm 100% sure this is spd after reading the info on the NHS website. I woke up in the night to go to the loo and I had been sweating all over my chest and my legs were damp too, yuck! I have my mw appt booked for 3rd March but I wonder if she will wanna see me before that.
As some of you have touched on when to take maternity leave I think I will take my 4 wks holiday first then the ML to follow as I was informed by my director that if our little fella arrives early when I'm taking annual leave they will add this onto my holiday year in 2015 which is what I wanted, so very happy about that.

How lovely to see such a busy thread!
Im just dipping my toes in - Im either 13+4 or 12+4 but at minute docs are going by 13+4. It just seems to scary to move onto 2nd Tri for some reason! But I will very soon, maybe end of week.
Good luck with scan Imp!
18/02/2014 at 09:08
Coco- sorry you're not feeling great, hope it picks up soon. Well done O for learning so many new words, it's so nice when they can communicate a bit better.
Fig, I'd take the extra sleep any day of the week!
CA, yay to it only being one more sleep, I hope you sleep better than expected!
Imp, happy 20 weeks, and very best of luck for the scan lovely, looking forward to your update later.
Pep, heya lovely, hope you're doing ok.
Ixia, sorry work's pants, sounds stressful. Enjoy your night away, it sounds lovely.
Wispa, sorry you're so achy today. Make sure you take it much easier, I know I couldn't be on my feet all day at this point. Hopefully a lighter day today and a good nights sleep will have you feeling better soon.
18/02/2014 at 09:21
