All well here, still getting used to the idea of having a pink one this time round! Looking forward to some girly shopping though, will make a pleasant change after 5.5 years of buying boys clothes. Jacob is at nursery again today, he had two accidents yesterday but not too bad for the first day at nursery in pants, hoping for better today. Taking Joshua swimming later, then to town for new school shoes and I've suggested a Maccy Ds for lunch.

Hi Margot! Not that a 3rd boy wouldn't have been lovely, but you really must be excited for a girl and all the new stuff to get involved with! Have you thought about names at all?
AFM - 24 weeks today!! Feels like such a huge milestone somehow! I'll be celebrating by officially informing my boss of my mat leave plans and booking my annual leave beforehand!
09/04/2013 at 08:52
Margot- girl clothes are so cute, with all the little dresses and frilly knickers! Enjoy your morning. Got to love a Marcy ds for lunch now and again.
Pirate wife- how exciting 24 weeks,! How satisfying to get to book your leave and maternity plans. It makes it all seem real and something that is going to happen in the near future.
Going to look at my school work today to see how much I've got to do and going to sort out some bits as we're planning on doing a bootfair Saturday. Alls fine baby wise.

Margot - yay for a girl! Are the boys excited about a baby sister?
PW - yay for 24 weeks, good feeling isnt it?!
Bunny - I keep telling H we need to sell some stuff, he things we should just take it to a carboot sale and give it away! lol
AFM - here is the nursery! Doesnt look much without cot etc but we've replaced the carpet with laminate, re-done all the skirtings, painted through and painted the door, new blind and lampshade, which are red despite them looking pink with the flash. Decided on furniture last night so will order that soon.

PW, yay for reaching 24 weeks! How nice to get your AL & ML plans sorted too. I've thought of a few names but every time I try to talk about it with H he just suggests silly names so I've told him if he doesn't take it seriously soon, I'll name her on my own!
Bunny, I need to think about school work this week too, was actually thinking it through whilst awake at about 5am today! Bootfair sounds good for decluttering.
PC, your nursery looks lovely and fresh, I love the storage unit. What furniture are you going for?
09/04/2013 at 09:02
Margot - ah lovely news about your scan, congratulations. Hope Jacob gets on ok today. Enjoy your afternoon.
PW - Congratulations on 24 weeks! What are you planning to take for maternity/annual leave?
bunny - I've never done a car boot sale before but have also been sorting out lots of stuff recently so might have to think about it.
PC - wow your nursery looks lovely! You've done a fab job :)
AFM - not much to report today, still feeling a little sick but not as bad as yesterday so hopefully am on the mend MS-wise. Might attempt the gym tonight for the first time in ages, wish me luck ha!

Porkchop- that looks great! Where is the storage unit from it kooks fab!
Margot- my h also only suggests silly names. Thought if I looked at my work today I at least know what I've got to do even if I don't do any today.
Popcorn- hopefully the sickness is on the way out. We've only done one before and we didn't make a huge amount, think it was around £50, but it's better than nothing gadgets rid of most stuff, then we took the rest to the charity shop on the way home. Planning to spend any money made on baby this time!
Were getting a white cot bed from Kiddicare, and a white chest of drawers unit. I was thinking wardrobe but I think it'll be a bit overpowering as it has to go right next to the cot. And I'm not sure child stuff needs to be hung up really? And were getting a chair from Argos, just plain nothing fancy, and I'll get some bright cushions to match the storage unit. Trying not to go too overboard with wall stickers and stuff as I dont want it too busy!
Pop - glad youre feeling a little better.

Margot - Yay to a girl, exciting times ahead for you! Are your boys excited to get a sister?
PW - Feels good to let work know when you plan to go on maternity leave :-)
Bunny - Good luck with the school work!
PC - The nursery looks lovely so far!
Popcorn - Hope the MS passes soon, good luck with the gym. I tried running last week and gave up after about 10 minutes as it killed! lol!
AFM - Yesterday I was told by one woman at work I look tired (was a bit offended as I thought I looked and felt ok!) Then I went out for dinner with a friend and the woman serving us said "you don't look like you need a wine menu" to me, started asking when I was due etc. Again I felt slightly offended as I had my coat on and didn't think you could tell! Guess that's the next pregnancy mile stone reached of people noticing now so I'd better get used to it.
Just ordered some stuff from the Kiddicare website as they have a sale on, got the cot bedding, a changing mat and a set of bottles with free delivery, an extra 5% off with a promo code and 7% cash back so came in at £30. Happy days!
Have a good day all!

Popcorn, hope this is the MS on its way out.
Twinkletoes, yes, they are both excited, Joshua has always said he wants a sister as he has a brother already and doesn't need another one! How rude of people yesterday, unfortunately it seems that once pregnant people can say what they like to you. Great bargains there!
09/04/2013 at 09:24
Margot glad the boys are excited, at least you've got another few months to argue the name situation with your H
PW yay to 24 weeks!
Bunny hope you haven't got too much school work to do
PC nursery looks great!
Pop good luck at the gym!
Twink it seems you to do become public property when your pregnant
Afm baby was moving a lot last night, was really lovely. H has gone to London today for a work thing and im off so going to pop into town and get some more navy trousers for work and may have a look at some cot sheets etc. quiet day really now that all my masters work is done, I have time again!
09/04/2013 at 09:31
Margot - you're not alone with your H suggesting silly names. Mine currently won't move away from "Moussa", his favourite Spurs player. I'm close to giving up on the discussion altogether.
bunny - hope you get enough this time round to get some nice things for the baby
TT - that is quite rude! I am planning on trying to shame people if they make comments assuming I'm pregnant and pretend I'm just porky *evil laugh*
Duckford - must be lovely to be feeling the baby move so much. Enjoy having some time to yourself again :)
09/04/2013 at 09:49
Twinlktoes- that's great bargain! Might have to peruse the website later! It is amazing how people treat you differently. The amount of people I know who have touched my tummy when normally I wouldn't even get a hello hug is huge.
Duckford- enjoy your free time! Hope you get what you want in town.
Right, I need to put my phone down and do some work! Not good when I'm procrastinating before I've even started!
