Another warm start to the day here! Didn't realise how nervous I was about the scan yesterday, feel so much more relaxed now it's all done :-) is anyone else struggling with clothes in this weather? My wardrobe suddenly seems very limited! Out to visit a customer today, hoping we won't need to be outside much.
Here's our nursery...the paint is a light lime green but it looks more yellow in the pics!

Love your nursery BE, it looks fab! Where is your chair from?
I'm taking advantage of feeling great and waking up early from jet lag and heading into the office early. Want to get on top of work whilst this feeling lasts.
I am loving being pregnant at the moment, fingers crossed it continues.
Hi to all who follow x

Morning BE- Your nursery looks lovely. Didn't manage to get on yesterday so glad the scan went well. I agree, this weather is definately limiting my clothes choices.
AFM - Got our second 20week scan today, so that they can measure head and make sure its within normal range (was measuring small last time). A little aprehensive about this, i will be glad when its over. Then im going shopping for a moses basket with my Mum and H's Grandma. H decided to do some late night baking last night! Well i wasn't going to turn that offer down was i? Pram was attempted to be delivered yesterdy but we were both at work, so missed it. Hoping that it might come this morning so that i dont miss it again.

Be I am really struggling with what to wear too. I've been wearing a black skirt with various tops for work, and living in dresses at the weekend. Lovely nursery, I want one of those chairs too.
Mrs P, I hope the jet lag passes soon. Glad you're feeling more relaxed now.
AFM, I struggled a bit yesterday with the heat and how busy I was at work. I was in bed fast asleep for 9.30! Got a much quieter day today, going to try and go for a swim in my lunch hour. As with my post above my wardrobe is becoming more and more limited, I tried on some linen trousers that were a size too big and I couldn't even button them up. I didn't realise my belly had gotten bigger but it obviously had!
Mrs Penguin - i missed you, sorry. Glad your enjoying pregnancy. Hopefully that will continue for you. Dont work too hard! x

Hi ms, good luck for the scan, let us know how you get on. What did your H bake?
09/07/2013 at 07:47
Thanks Imp, i'll let you all know. He made peanut butter cookies with choc chips on top. mmmmmmm

BE - looking good in your nursery. Clothes wise, I'm okay for tops at moment but it bottoms I'm struggling with - I am resorting to short leggings with top rolled down & tucked under bump. I need to go shopping!
MrsP - sounds like 2nd tri bloom has kicked in. Enjoy!
AFM - feeling fine. Had really good nights sleep (which started at half 9 on the sofa, LOL) off to town today to order food from butcher as we planning a big family BBQ at weekend for LO birthday - she is gonna be 2. No idea where the time has has gone! and then I'm going to ring round a few scrap yards as the hunk of my horse trailer that is damaged is beyond repair and the part is £150 new, plus fitting. Eeek!

I type so slow I missed you both Imp & MS. Sorry!
MS those cookies sound yum, ill be straight over :-). Good luck for scan.
Imp - can you ask for a fan at work?
Mrs Penguin - I ordered the chair from Mothercare, make is Tutti Bambini, it's very comfy :-) glad you are feeling good!
MS - Yes all was good at our scan, good luck for yours, I'm sure everything will be fine!
Imp & HF - Sounds like we all need to go shopping!

Morning all, I'll try and catch up on personals later as I should be leaving for work now - just can't get motivated this morning!
25 weeks today and I'm carrying an eggplant I seem to have had a papaya for ages as they change to being multiple week fruits... what is worrying is that it looks like there are only 3 more to go after eggplant. Eeeks!
Good luck MS for your scan!

Morning all, busy today so will catch up on the personals later, I have had a quick skim. Good luck to anyone scanning today or tomorrow in case I don't make it back.
I am just hot today, and tired. I need a break. I have next Friday off and I am going to finish early today come hell or highwater!

Hi all, wow busy thread already today,
BE your nursery looks fab.
Penguin glad you're feeling great. Long may it continue
MS good luck with scan today. Will be thinking of you
Imp glad today will be quieter. Working in this heat is horrid. I struggled yesterday too. Enjoy your swim
HF hope you find the trailer part you need, I know owning a horse is expensive. My sis has an ex racer and is always shelling out for something. She wouldn't have it any other way though.
Hi mrs 50s an egg plant eh! Interesting. I must be almost egg plant stage at 23 weeks!
LP hope you're day goes quickly
AFM feeling baby move loads now. H Even saw my belly move last night it was kicking so hard. Love it. If anyone caught my post last week, my face and neck are still itchy despite hydrocortisone and antihistamine gp prescribed. Think I'll go back to docs this week. It's driving me mad. Off to an open air pool this afternoon with a friend and her lo. Should be fun. And only 6 working days til summer hols yay!!!

BE- Just saw your scan photo from yesterday- how lovely! Loving the nursery but I can't actually believe how organised you are.. I'm 24 weeks tomorrow and you have made me feel totally unprepared! haha
MrsPenguin- Hope you catch up quickly. I'm sure loving pregnancy will continue for a good while yet.
MS- Good luck for your scan, I'm sure everything will be fine. Have a lovely shopping trip and I hope you get your pram this morning.
Imp- A lunch time swim would be lovely today. Nice and refreshing! The belly definitely does creep up on you without you noticing. Mine seems to have doubled in size the past 2 weeks!
HorseFan- Hope you get a good deal at the scrap yards. I did read about your ride yesterday, I don't know how you do it! I don't feel too bad generally but I'm finding that climbing the stairs have become harder. Feel like I am lumping at extra 10 stone with me! haha
Mrs50s- I had been checking other people's tickers to see what I will be tomorrow and was a bit gutted when I realised I'm still a papaya! haha. At least it means that the scary (well, scarier!) fruits are a little further away still.
LP- Definitely get an early finish and take some time to relax! We definitely deserve it in this weather with all this baby growing we are doing.
MrsB- Sorry that you are still suffering, I definitely think another trip to the doctors is in order! Have fun today.
AFM- The trees are cleared! Well, nearly. We have 7 huge mail bags to go to the tip and then a pile of tree trunks too but it is looking tonnes better than it did. It has got 2 borders either side and stones in the main section and the stones are full of bits of tree now. I really want to turf/ artificial grass it but H really isn't keen. Because we aren't looking to stay here for any length of time he thinks it's a waste of money. I might have to look for some good deals today and see if I can talk him around! We actually sat down at 10pm last night with a pizza, went to bed at about 11 but didn't go to sleep until about 1.30am because we were chatting for ages. We were talking about how strict we were going to be with baby when she starts getting older and trying to push the boundaries! haha. H concluded that she is practically being locked up.
Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Just crashing in today to say good luck MS for your scan today x
09/07/2013 at 12:13
LP- Don't know if you are signed up to Emma's diary but I have recieved an invitation from them today for Vertbaudet to get £15 off your first order over £20 plus a free changing bag which actually looks really good! The code is 4905.

Late to the thread and apologies for no personals.
I just wanted to ask, for two days now at random points I've had sharp pains, just out of nowhere really low down, so not around my 'bump' they're more like down at my foof! I'm hoping someone else has had this? They're not constant pain, it's just a one of sort of shooting pain that goes away straight away? I'm stressing though!xxx
09/07/2013 at 17:18
Its probably baby kicking down onto your bladder or something MDD.
09/07/2013 at 17:54
Could it be? I've been stressing as it was 'pain'. I've had no bleeding or anything so was taking that as a good sign xx
09/07/2013 at 18:35
MDD - I remember getting sudden sharp pains low down. As long as you aren't having any bleeding then try not to worry, lots is changing in there!
