Good morning! :)
Ixis good luck at the mw this morning and baby out vibes a plenty for you.
So today is my due date. I feel fairl indifferent about it as I know it's unlikely happy feet will make an appearance! Feeling more and more anxious though now, I think as time draws on my worries of something going wrong will only get worse too. I'm in denial I think after everything that last year threw at us. Had a good cry on mr imp last night, bless him.
Not much going on today, I'm trying to do a bit less now so as to not tire myself out- in case I need my energy!

Morning Imp, and happy due day xx. baby out vibes to you and ixia :-)
I've had another *** night sleep, not helped by being SO uncomfortable. Cried on hubby's shoulder last night since I ache so much, but I also feel that because I lost a baby last year, I shouldn't complain, and if I say I want this pregnancy over, fate will intervene and something will go wrong. Irrational, yes, but aches, pains and sleep deprivation are getting to me. Don't want to bring the tone of the forum down, but no idea how this can go on for another 6 weeks. And this with a technically easy pregnancy too. No morning sickness, no SPD, working until 32 weeks, walking and climbing until 33 weeks, but now useless.
Hope the rest of you are having better days xx

Ixia - Sending tons of baby out vibes...hope the sweep does the trick for you today. Lots of "already dilating on examination" vibes heading your way.
Imp - Happy due date lovely. I think it's only natural to be anxious after all you've been through...In fact I think most of us get anxious as our due date approaches...I certainly am and I know everything went smoothly with O. I think it just shows what a fab mummy you'll be, sending big big hugs. Not long now hopefully.
BF - I sympathise on the aches, but it doesn't matter how smooth a pregnancy, the aches get you in the end once baby starts running out of space/pressure builds up down below. Try and stay positive...The end is in sight and it's relatively minor compared to what others have to go through.
AFM - All good pregnancy wise, just a bit of a crap day yesterday with news of illness in an already poorly family member, meaning sleep was not really forthcoming last night. Going to try and get outside and make the most of the sun today, and give O a bit of space to run!
Hope all is well with everyone else x

Imp - happy due date! Completely normal to feel as you do, especially with what you've been through. Good idea on keeping things low key now to conserve your energy!
BF - we all have our frustrated and down days, don't beat yourself up. Being heavily pregnant does restrict you!
Coco - sorry to hear your family are going through it at the minute. A nice family day out will be nice - hope the weather holds up!
AFM - no news really. Tried the physio's advice of having a pillow between the entire length of my legs last night (have so far being using dream genii but it doesn't reach to my feet) and my hips don't hurt this morning :) I also woke up a few times with some sharp stabbing/stretchy type pains, 2 were very low down but the other was to the right side of my bump. Felt baby move this morning though so just putting it down to one of those things.
Baby out vibes to Ixia! X

Happy due date Imp!!! Completely normal that you're feeling so anxious. I think having a specific date for when baby should arrive makes it worse too as you gear yourself up for that day then start to panic when it passes. Just take each day as it comes. Your little one will be with you safe and sound within the next 14 days. You are so close now and everything will be just fine. Taking it easy from now sounds like a great plan and if you get too bored or anxious sitting by yourself let me know and I will swing round. I'm off from next week and I found a bus near by that goes to your town! Couldn't be easier.
BF - getting to the end is hard work. I've had quite possibly the easiest pregnancy on record but am starting to feel a bit like a different part of my body is falling apart each day. Just have to keep reminding yourself that your body is under a lot of strain but at this point the end is in sight and the reward is coming! I'm trying to see it as a plus that I feel so rubbish as it means I will be holding my little bean very soon.
Coco - so sorry that you've the added worry with the family. I hope you start sleeping better. A day out with O sounds lovely and might help tire you both out a bit! Sunshine is good for mood lifting too. Big hugs to you.
Browny - Woohoo for no hip pain!! I bet you feel a world of difference from a good nights sleep (apart from the stretchy pains, you can't win!) Could be baby moving down. I can feel movement and just pressure really low down now so I think mine is nestling in ready. Doesn't make for comfy sitting.
AFM - not much to report. I tried to ring the GP yesterday about what might be carpal tunnel but now they only take bookings for the same day so you have to call from 8 to possibly get an appointment. I have arranged to work from home tomorrow as I have the midwife so fingers crossed I can get seen then. It bliddy hurts!! I think my boss is starting to get concerned as my feet balloon by then end of the day too so she's said I can work reduced hours as it is my last week. Hasn't worked out so far but I'll leave early Thurs/Fri hopefully. I cannot WAIT to be on mat leave now.
Hi to those that follow and baby out vibes to Ixia, Imp and Kapowski!! Lots of babies coming soon eeeep!!

imp, happy due date, totally understandable how you feel with everything you've been through lovely. Really hope happy feet doesn't make you wait too much longer though. Definitely rest rest rest, everyone keeps telling me too as we wont be resting for much longer so make the most of it!
barefoot. Sorry to hear you're not sleeping well and feeling that way, again totally understandable. Do you know what it is that might be stopping you sleeping well? Heat? General pregnancy? Do you have a long pillow you put between your legs - i couldn't sleep without mine its amazing and having a fan on all night has really helped in this heat. Sorry if you've already said but are you off work now? Can you nap in the day instead? Hope you feel better and take it easy.
coco, sorry to hear you've had some bad news, getting out in the sun will be nice
browny, glad the pillow tip helped. Maybe the sharp pains were baby's head having a wiggle down there, keep an eye on them today. I sometimes get sharp pains that are bowel related and after a trip to the toilet they go lol.
afm, well nothing new to report, just waiting now really, have a few bits to do around the house so just pottering about. Now that baby could potentially come at any time does anyone else feel.like they need to keep their house really tidy in preparation for all the visitors that will be coming over? We wont wanna be tidying with a newborn, so am deep cleaning the bathroom and kitchen every day! Unless people do that anyway and im just a hobo lol x

Missed you jonesy, so annoying the way gps do appointments isn't it. Hope u manage to get an appointment and yay to almost finishing work!

Hello ladies. I've got midwife this morning at 9.30am so I'm sneaking on my laptop at home just before I set off to finally do some personals!!
Imp - Happy due date! I hope happy feet makes a surprise appearance sometimes soon x
Barefoot - I think everyone struggles as the end gets nearer, especially if you are used to being a really active person before that and you can't do the same things you are used to doing
Coco - Sorry to hear you've had some bad news - I hope today is better for you and you enjoy a bit of sunshine
Browny - Glad to hear you slept better, hope the pains are just baby stretching out in there
Jonesy - My GP does the same - it's so frustrating isn't it!! I hope you get through okay and get an appointment sorted x
CO - I added you to the due date list yesterday and put MDD as your PP (I know I didn't comment again but I did go back and check the thread haha). If you finish tidying your house you are welcome to come do mine ;)
AFM - So as I said before I've got my midwife appointment this morning. It's just my routine 31 week appointment so hopefully all will be fine. My H has insisted I tell her about the problems I've been getting just incase they mean something but I hate making a fuss so chances are when she asks I'll just go 'oh yes all fine' - I can't stop myself doing it!! Hope everyone who follows is doing well x

Thanks everyone xx support is nice to have. CO, nothing in particular stopping me sleeping, but even the sleeping tablets the consultant gave me aren't working. I finished work 2 weeks ago thank goodness but so much to do at home. Having a duvet day today though since half asleep. Just wish I could nap but even that doesn't work. Sorry to be a grump.
Coco, hope your relative is as well as can be expected x
Browny, glad your hip pain is easing, that's great news.
Jonesy/PS think that's the whole problem. Apart from the post mc stresses and worries, and fibroid complications, physically and mentally I've had an easy ride, but in the last 7 days that all seems to have changed, so it's a big shock to the system. I have nothing to whine about compared to those with continual sickness, SPD etc, but in a way knowing I'm moaning about "nothing" makes me feel worse! Hope both your mw appointments go well xx
08/07/2014 at 09:40
Jonesy - your boss sounds very understanding. Hope you manage to get an appointment and they can offer some help for your pain. Its horrible being in pain. I don't know about you but I turn into a grump and snap at everyone! Not long until your ML now!
CO - I'm still a way behind you but no, I hate cleaning so I'll be surprised if I'm cleaning everyday even near my EDD! My nesting appears to so far be limited to washing and organising :) baby out vibes!
PS - Hope the MW app goes ok. You should tell her any issues you have as you never know, she might be able to help ;)
08/07/2014 at 10:24
PS, thanks for adding me :) hope your appt goes well and definitely tell your midwife any issues you have.
barefoot, aw i see, not much else to suggest seeing as though tablets aren't even working :( hope the duvet day will help. No need to apologise, you're allowed to have a little moan :)
browny, i hate housework too!! Just worried we'll get caught out and baby will arrive with the house a mess and people will come round and see it all! I know im probs being silly and no one will care about the state of the house though. We have a dog whose hair gets everywhere and treads mud and grass into the house which is what im tidying up mostly and with all the diy we're doing there's boxes everywhere, argh! And breathe..... Think i need to chill out lol
08/07/2014 at 12:08
Glossed over the probs. Can't help myself!! Told her about my hands and feet swelling but she said that was normal. Baby measuring well apparently and heartbeat was good. Had to have another blood test to check my anemia hasn't got worse.
08/07/2014 at 13:30
BF sorry you had a bad night, I hope tonight is better for you.
Coco hugs for you and your family at this tough time. I hope you've managed to get out and about today to burn off some of O's energy. Thanks for the hugs.
Browny glad the pillow seemed to help, long may that continue! I have had lots of sharp pains and all seems to be ok, mention it to your mw though if you're concerned.
Jonesy, thanks lovely, that's goos to know that there is a bus that runs between us. I foresee lots of meets with babies in the future! :) I hope you get a docs appt, our surgery works on the same system, it drives me mad as it aways seems to be cousinly engaged at 8am- tres stressful! I'm gad your boss is being understanding, not long left now!
CO I am constantly cleaning at the moment, it's hard work keeping up with it! I am the same that I would hate people yo come around and see the house in a tip!
PS I would think if your swelling was a sign of anything more ominous- PE and the like- to would have been picked up from your BP and urine. Take comfort fro them not being concerned about it.
Well i dragged myself out and have done some errands. This afternoon i'm planning to hoover upstairs and clean the bathrooms.
Ixia I hope the sweep has gone well, or perhaps as you're quiet today things have kicked off? I hope so lovely.xx
08/07/2014 at 14:08
Sorry about lack of personals ladies; I'll try and do them tomorrow.
MW appointment went well. She was able to do the sweep, was able to reach the cervix and it's soft, so the pains I've had so far haven't been in vain. She didn't mention if I was already dilated but my notes read 3cm then something I can't understand (I can't understand most of my notes mind!)
I'm having another sweep on Friday and will be induced next Tuesday (the day before my birthday) if nothing has happened. If I'm induced then I can't go to the MLU but I'm not bothered by this, I just want her out safely!
08/07/2014 at 15:21
ixia that sounds fairly positive then. Hopefully things kick off over the next day or so.
Did it hurt???
08/07/2014 at 15:46
CO - I'm not even sure what a deep clean is! haha. I think I will get more paranoid about keeping on top of it closer to the time but H is more worried so hopefully he will do most of the work mwahaha. Don't do too much!
PS - every part of me is swollen at the mo but bp and urine are all fine so I think I'm just puffy. It's really attractive isn't it?! Are you feeling ok otherwise? Hope the anemia comes back negative.
BF - i think even dozing helps. I feel much better after a lie down even if I don't sleep. I cannot wait to be able to doze whenever I want to!
Browny - she's been really good. She was part of the team that made the decision to outsource my department so is quite responsible for me being made redundant when i come back next year so it's probably part guilt haha.
Imp - I too forsee baby meet ups! I shall be pestering you once mine is here haha. Glad you managed to get some stuff done today.
Ixia - oh that all sounds positive! I will keep everything crossed that things start moving for you soon. You sound quite positive about induction too which is good. Not long at all to wait now!
08/07/2014 at 16:15
Imp - it was about as uncomfortable as as smear test, but didn't hurt.
08/07/2014 at 16:18
Thanks, just so I know what to prepare for!
08/07/2014 at 18:44
Oh I wasn't worried about it being something serious just thought I was prob meant to tell her. Totally bypassed the throwing up and the pains I've been getting - it's like my brain goes to mush when she asks how I've been! I'm a nightmare when anyone asks me direct questions haha :)
Jonesy - I've definately got anemia apparently it's just whether or not it's got worse as they can't just give me iron tablets like they would normally. Nobody seems to know what the alternative is though so will be interesting to find out what the plan is if it has got worse since 28 weeks!
Imp and Ixia hope both your babies don't keep you waiting too much longer!!
08/07/2014 at 20:33
My mind goes blank too PS. I sometimes take a list so I don't forget things.
