Sorry you're so uncomfy coco , is it your back? I hope you find a pressie without too much hassle and enjoy the last bit of sunshine.
Afm a dreadful night, too hot, needing the loo a million times and geverally just not sleeping. Grrr. Work today too which is just typical!
Happy feet is 33 weeks today and a durian fruit!

It's all in the hips at the moment Imp, but sure by the end it'll be back too! Sorry you had a bad night, hope work goes quickly and that you get a better night tonight. I love all the weird and wonderful fruits I've learnt about on your ticker...no idea what a durian fruit is ;-) can't believe you're 33 weeks already!!

Ouch to sore hips. They're no fun. I hope it doesn't go into toor back too, although it seems by the end that pretty much every part of a pregnant lady aches! Lol!
A durian fruit is a really stinky fruit that is a delicacy. It's actually banned in some public planes as it's so smelly but supposedly it tastes like heaven!

Coco, sorry your hips are causing you pain. I hope it doesn't progress to your back as well. Good luck for the pressie hunt!
Imp, Happy Stinky Fruit Day!! So sorry you had such a bad night, hope work is okay today and that you can finish a bit early.
AFM, mw this morning and then I'm meeting MDer Grif and her gorgeous little baby this afternoon :) I was awake a bit in the night too - it's sooo hot! It's cloudy here today so I'm quietly hoping that it might start to cool down soon - never thought I'd wish away the nice weather!
Hi to all who follow, hope everyone is okay xx
20/05/2014 at 08:18
Oh Fig enjoy meeting grif and baby M! I hope the mw goes well too.

Coco, sorry to hear you're so uncomfortable, but I did hear the same from my sister about second bumps, and she was bigger than she'd been when she had her first when she was 32 weeks with her second! So, i guess you're not alone at least. And at least you don't have back pain!
Happy durian fruit day, Imp, those things are foul! The heat does make for some dreadful nights, I hope it cools down at least a bit for you (for us all, actually!).
Have fun with grif, Fig! I'm with you on wishing away good weather. It seems so wrong, but it's making these last few weeks miserable.
AFM, I had a far more comfortable sleep last night than the previous few. Of course, this was marred by Wispa being up half the night pacing around, jumping up on the bed, off the bed, down the stairs up the stairs blah blah. I think the heat is really getting to her as well, poor dog. It annoyed H so much that he went to sleep on the sofa for a few hours. As soon as he was gone, Wispa stole his spot and went straight to sleep, haha.
Anyways, I'm determined to actually do things today. Our house is looking a bit of a mess, so I'm going to clean up. Wispa and I will actually make it out to the woods for a good long walk, too. None of this tossing the ball in the park nonsense she's been getting recently. And then maybe I'll turn on the TV ;)

Glad you slept better wispa! I sleep better afte rmy H gets out of bed in the morning, it's much quieter without his heavy breathing!
I hope you get done what you want to, don't forget to take it a bit easy though- you don't want to make your SPD worse by over doing it.
I did a rain dance earlier, and I don't even care!

Coco - Hope the pains aren't too bad!
Imp - Happy 33 week day! Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight.
Fig - Hope you have a lovely day, I too am happier that it is starting to cool down a little!
Wispa - Hope you and doggy Wispa enjoy your day! Glad you both had a better nights sleep!
AFM - Definitely at the uncomfortable pregnant lady stage! But today marks exactly 1 month until due date which is both exciting and terrifying all in one go!

Cannot believe I am in the third tri!!
Coco - I feel your pain with the hips as you know, it's killing me at the moment and that coupled with sleep deprivation is not good. your ticker just shocked me though....87 days
Imp - I love the fruits on your ticker - not sure I would know the size of a Durian fruit though (are they the stinky ones which are banned in public places in HK?)
Figaro - Think we are going to have rain here in London, it's grim and grey outside!! Heat and pregnancy are not a good combination, hope you have a nice meet with Grif
Wispa - Do you think Wispa knows you are pregnant? my parents dog is really funny with me at the moment, I am sure she knows. She is a big staffie but whereas she normally wants to play with me, she now wants to sit mothering me and is being so gentle bless her.
AFM - well today is my birthday, 37 years old! at work but hoping to finish early to go home and spend some time chilling with the kids and OH. Baby wise, had a great day yesterday as saw baby again on a sizing scan and had my consultants appointment. All is going well and baby is currently 2.7lbs which is spot on for what they would expect for me. Consultant really happy with all my results and has told me if I carry on he will let me go to due date before induction rather than 38 weeks which is great. Baby is currently breach but that can all change so trying not to think about that too much. next scan in four weeks time

Vix 1 month is tres exciting!
NB- Happy Birthday!!!! Yes the durian is banned in some public places as it stinks so much. Glad your appt went well, I'm pleased that baby is spot on for sizing and also that they might be happy to let you get to 40 weeks.

Imp,I think your rain dance might be working in SE London soon, we're expecting thunderstorms!! Just got back from walking Wispa, don't worry I didn't overdo it, I stopped at every bench for a rest, hahaha!
Vix, one month to go!! Woohoo!
Welcome, Nina, and happy happy birthday! In the beginning I thought I could notice a difference in Wispa in that she was constantly glued to my side. She got very clingy (clingier than normal, anyways), but I'm not so sure anymore. She can probably sense a difference in me, but I think it's more likely along the lines of, "why are you so slooooow? Hurry up," when we're out on walks, haha. I wish she was gentler with me.. Maybe she is and I just don't notice it anymore. Anyways, good news about potentially pushing back induction!

Coco - hope you managed to enjoy the good weather you have!
Imp - so sorry you are having problems sleeping :(
Fig - hope you had a lovely day.
Wispa - bless to Wispa being glued to your side. Glad you managed to get a walk.If you get a thunderstorm please may you send it down here? It's so hot and close it's very uncomfortable and we could do with one to clear the air.
Vix - eeeek to being one month away!
Nina - welcome to third tri and happy birthday! Glad everything is going well for you.
AFM - spent the day with SIL and FIL and had my hair cut. I'm another one who is uncomfortable, but mainly with my ribs and back. The muscles in my ribs still haven't healed months after having a cough and it's getting more painful as bump gets bigger. I can hardly sit down :( MW said that other than hot water bottles and the odd paracetamol there's not much they can do, but I'm going to ask again. We played our cat the noise of a baby crying yesterday on my phone to see what her reaction would be, expecting her to run away, but she ran to the phone and started purring loudly and headbutting it affectionately. It was very sweet :)

Coco- sorry you're so sore. :-( I hope you had a nice day & managed to find a suitable gift.
Imp, boo to the bad night for you too. I hope work was ok and not too tedious.
Fig, how lovely meeting up with MDers and babies, hope you had a lovely day.
Wispa, I can't blame Wispa for being uncomfy in the heat, you can't take off a fur coat! I have to say the tv portion of the day sounds more appealing than the cleaning, but it's so nice having a lovely clean house.
Vix, woop, definitely on countdown now!
Nina, welcome to third tri and happy birthday! I'm glad all went well at the scan. Were they considering induction at 38 weeks for sizing or something else? (Sorry, I don't think I've overlapped any of the other tris with you so I'm not sure of the history. I'm glad it's all looking good currently either way!)
Ix, a hair cut sounds good, I may try to fit one in before Attila arrives. Sorry you're sore too, I've not had a cough, but until Attila dropped I was v uncomfy under my right rib, it felt like her head/bum was there all the time, and only lying out helped. I hope you get some relief soon. How cute of your cat.
Afm, I've had a nice day. Took J to toddler group this morning, and let H look after him this afternoon as he's now off work. It's so nice being able to get a bit more of a sit down! J's been an angel today generally, very well behaved and very affectionate, it's been lovey - long may it continue! On a less happy note my feet are ridiculously swollen tonight, and I've got rumbly period pains along with my BH, hopefully it means Attila is gearing up!
