just a quick one from me today as I am on my way to London for the day. All is well with bump, went to my exercise class last night - it is definitely all a lot harder than it was at 20 weeks that's for sure!
Baby out vibes to all those that need them.
I will try and pop back later to catch up

Hope your London trip is ok.
AFM i have had a bit of an eventful morning already. Have been getting some cramps since 5am roughly twice an hour and back pain. Baby is moving LOADS too. Called triage who want me to stay off work and see what happens. Seems to have calmed down so going to eat sonething and go back to bed for a bit and just wait i guess. Kinda scary..... Will keep you posted.

Al.. Have a good day.. Not many London days left now!
Mm.. Take it easy today Hun.. Keep us all posted.
Afm.. Plodding on.. Counting down the working days left.. Got an addiction to looking at cloth nappy websites..and researching which new washing machine to buy! That's about all... Lol will pop back x will pop back x

Al- hope your last day in London isn't too exhausting! You're very good going to exercise classes. My only exercise now is doing my horse (which to be fair is quite hard work!)
MM- that is scary. The last 2 Saturday nights I've been getting intermittent cramps but they've died off. Try a warm bath etc. hope it comes to nothing but in the worst case scenario you're far enough along that the baby should be a good size and pretty strong.
Bexy- I'm just too lazy for cloth!
Afm- had a bad night as Sammy's pull up leaked so he ended up with us at some ungodly hour so neither of us got much sleep. Working from home again today and got literally 30 orders to put through from our enquiry mailbox which has been diverted to me. Only trouble is my account is locked at supplier who are trying to sort it out! Meanwhile I'm getting about 5 more an hour. Fun fun!
Have a good day all, keep us updated MM

Al..hope London's not to bad today, glad your still enjoying your exercise class but I bet it is hard work, don't know how you do it!
mm....hopefully it's nothing but do get checked over and let us know how you get on later!
bexy...good luck looking for a washing machine, I want a new cooker next (my poor H, I always want something!!) I've bought few cloth nappies and the cheeky wipes and am going to give the. a try but not sure if I'll just use cloth completely or just at night, will see what happens I guess!
Wh.. always an extra busy day when you've not had much sleep isn't it! Hope the day flies by!
Afm...counting Down the days till I finish work (19th april) and plodding on! Still feel dizzy and just rubbish, im on iron for the anemia but dont feel much different and gp says my bp is low and there's nothing they can for that so to just get on with it i guess! Have MW on Thursday and the plan is to book my section date then so looking forward that!
Anyone have any nice Easter plans?
hope everyone's well and will pop back later! :-)

Eeek, how very exciting about Nenas! LOADS of vibes to her.
Alocin - I'm definitely finding exercise harder now together with balance issues! Hope London goes well.
MM - Eek, hope you are ok, take it easy missy and hope some rest helps x
Bexy - Buying new things like washing machines do take over don't they?? I can never be bothered to sort things like that though!
WH- Aagh that sounds stressful, hope it gets sorted quickly, I bet you just feel like turning the computer off and going back to bed! Can you?!
Libby - Sorry you're feeling rubbish, I bet you can't wait to finish - we're off on the same day!
AFM - Have my week off atm which is obvioiusly great but feels very strange! Think because I've been so busy at work I can't quite get my head around having nothing that I absolutely must do. Really glad I went for the week off option rather than a 4 day week as think I need some time to unwind. Been doing some baby and house bits - bought some lovely curtains for the nursery yesterday and shopping with my Mum later in the week for bedding etc. I made those Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies last night that have been doing the rounds on FB - man they were so gorgeous, gave my proper indigestion but I'd do it again in a flash!
Have a good day all :)

Just seen DS's thread about Nenas - very exciting! Lots of baby out vibes x
Al - Hope that your London trip is OK. I have also found exercise harder with a bigger bump but am perservering!
MM - Hope that you are Ok and the cramps are nothing. Take it easy and keep us updated
Bexy - I hate shopping for those big boring essential things. Seems to always take forever to find the right one, hope you manage to decide on one soon
WH - sounds like you have a stressful day ahead which I find is always made worse by lack of sleep. Hope that you manage to sort everything out quickly
Libby - sorry to hear that you are still feeling rubbish. Not long to go now until work is over though, hopefully that will keep you going!
Lamby - Sounds like you have a lovely day planned, look forward to seeing a flash of the nursery once done. Those Creme Egg brownies sound immense! Pass some over!
AFM - Still not sleeping great and it's making H fidget more which is then in turn making me move around and so the cycle continues! Looking forward to the Easter weekend. Not much planned as we want to focus on getting the nursery sorted and clearing out the rest of the house a bit. It's amazing at how much clutter one can collect! Was the first night of passover last night so had a late night with the family and now have to survive without bread for 8 days - usually it's not so bad but whilst pregnant I have become a carb addict!
Hope that you all have a good day. Am hoping for a less busy one at work today! x

Great to hear Nenas is in labour!!!
Alocin, another long day in London. I don't know how you're not exhausted!
MM, keep us updated, lets hope baby stays put. Are you resting? No queue jumping ok!
Bexy, are you considering cloth nappies then? I just couldn't be bothered!
WH, sorry you didn't sleep great and also have so many orders to process! Busy day ahed but hopefully you can squeeze a nap in too??
Libby, seems odd that the Dr can't help you feel less dizzy, I'm sure that can't be something they'd just ignore??
Lamby, I must try those brownies! Yay for a week off, it's so relaxing just having some time off I find. If only you still got to enjoy it once you have a toddler in tow!!
Ferbs, I couldn't cope without bread!
AFM am in agony overnight with SPD but its fine during the day, very weird. Lazy morning ahead then popping to town for a few bits for H's birthday after lunch, before going to an NCT friend's house for a play date later. Nothing left to sort for baby so just trying to get the blanket finished and need to do a huge batch of spag bol for the freezer. I've bought a load of labour snacks so need to hide those away in case H starts on them!
I'm a bit fed up but need to snap out of it as could still have 4 weeks left!
26/03/2013 at 11:10
Wow, keeping everything crossed for Nenas!
Al- Glad all's well with bump, take it easy in the Big Smoke.
MM- Yikes, hope baby calms down, resting is def the right thing to do.
Bexy- Gotta love those cloth nappies, I keep peeking at my drawer full!
WH- Not a good start to the day by the sounds of it, hope it improves!
Libby- FX you feel brighter soon and good luck with MW appt.
Lamby- Enjoy the rest of your week off, a good mix of indulgence and achievement it seems :-)
Ferbs- Hope the clearout and nursery organisation go smoothly and the bread denial passes quickly!
Hep- Sorry your SPD is playing up and you're feeling low. I also hate that 'could be a few days...or could be a few weeks' phase we've entered.
AFM- 36+4 today. I spotted my name on the leaderboard yesterday and got scared. Have an appt with a GP registrar tomorrow as MW is away for 2 weeks. I have no idea what's meant to be going on...I thought I had to be re-assessed at 36 weeks ish to see if I'm still low risk? Have no idea what to do if I go into labour and I don't have a birth plan. Gah!
Just made a sponge cake for Mum's birthday, so will pop round to see her shortly. My birthday is a few days before my DD so as H has Thurs off he's taking me out for afternoon tea a couple of weeks early instead. Looking forward to working my way through a tiered stand of goodies and to hell with the heartburn!
Have a good day.
26/03/2013 at 11:20
Gosh, you guys all get on here so early!
Alocin, I am very impressed that you are still doing classes. My bump feels in the way to walk at the moment let alone anything else energetic!
MM - hope the pains sod off and you are putting your feet up. Scary stuff.
bexy, I'd love to use cloth nappies but I can't keep up with washing as it is!
WH, hope you get your work done. Our email server is playing silly and I can't do anything. So annoying!
libby, are you taking the iron with anything? Doesn't it need other vitamins so it absorbs properly? Eeek to getting a section date. It'll be here before you know it. Lots of Easter Plans here. We have WH's Sammy's party on Saturday (no going into labour before then love!), then a big family gathering that evening. Mr R is taking M to see his parents on Friday and I am going to sit all day and crochet the baby's blanket! Dinner with friends, easter egg hunts etc. It's all go! You?
Lamby, glad you are enjoying your week off. I so want to make those brownies too. They look amazing! Might make them for the above mentioned family do at the weekend.
Ferbs - no bread?!! Surely they make exceptions for pregnant women in need?
Hep - what you getting S for his birthday? Ouchy to nighttime SPD. I sleep on my RHS and my right hip kills me in the mornings.
AFM, not much to report really, it feels very much same old same old. I had a sudden hit of "OMG, I have to push out a baby" last night and today. Feeling very unprepared in those respects. My Dad built Matilda's new wardrobe at the weekend so I've been able to empty her clothes out of what will now be the baby's wardrobe. As soon as the single bed in that room is gone, I can start making it look like a nursery!
Anyone know how quickly GTT results come back if you have GD? I did my bloods yesterday morning. They don't call if it's ok so no news is good news and all that...
26/03/2013 at 11:29
Quick update - have slept for another 3 hours and no more cramping so hopefully its settled down. Baby feels very low so might just be her dropping down......
Thank you for all your kind wishes. I would kill for a red hot bath but think i will settle for a lukewarm one!
26/03/2013 at 12:41
Gopher! What types have you gone for? x
26/03/2013 at 13:18
Sorry...just a quick one. I appear to have had a bloody show this morning so am just waiting for something to happen although I understand it could be days still, I'm hoping it's not! Baby out vibes please!!! Or waters to break, or some other labour starting vibes! I'm meant to be meeting friends for a pub dinner tonight, would you still go?! I know if things kick off properly beforehand then I can't but if not what should I do!? I understand it can still be a couple of days or so before labour can start properly after a bloody show?
Alocin, hope your day goes quickly! I bet it is a lot harder now, you crazy lady! ;)
MM really glad things have calmed down for you! Keep resting.
Bexy, I love the idea of cloth nappies but have bought disposable to see how we go. I did go for cheeky wipes though as I like the idea of no chemicals next to his bum.
WH, aww poor S and you. Hope you can rest a bit today?
Libby, exciting about getting your date! Take the pills with vitamin C and avoid tea/coffee and milk within 2 hours. They take a few days to kick in but I know mine made me feel 100 times better. Easter plans are to get this baby out! Eeek!
Lamby, sounds like a fab week! Glad you got your curtains sorted!
Ferbs, mmmm carbs...I'd kill for bread right now! Don't even talk to me about clutter, I have an ongoing battle with my H! Hope you get some better sleep!
Hepburn, sorry you feel fed up. Sounds like a nice day though. Hopefully you wont go overdue, will be sending lots of vibes!
Gopher, don't worry too much about the birth plan...I think they often go out the window anyway! Hope you get some answers! Enjoy your afternoon tea, sounds amazing!
Rusty, I was told they get back to you asap if there's an issue so hopefully you wont hear anything (I didn't) and you've not got GD. I know what you mean about the "Oh god I have to push this baby out!"...feeling that now!
Hope Nenas is ok and that she has her baby soon, good luck lovely! NL x
26/03/2013 at 15:24
Bexy - on Nappy Lady's advice we have got Teddy nappies with cute patterned Motherease wraps, some Charlie Bananas in various colours and boring Bumbles for night. Will look into more fun ones to add to our collection once we've got started! How about you?
Notts Lass- eek, baby out vibes!! Keep us updated...
26/03/2013 at 16:22
Gopher - If you go into labour just call the hospital number on your notes, it's only really relevant to the midwife if you're having a home birth. Also as for birth plan, I wrote mine based on info I'd gained on here, my midwife has never discussed it with me. There is some good stuff on the BT wiki which should help too.
Rusty - I've got him a Kindle as he currently reads the kindle app on his iPhone in bed every night which makes his eyes sore cos of the backlight. I'm hoping N will do him something at school if I ask them to do something with him(?). As his bday is Easter Sunday I'll also get him an egg and maybe a DVD or something. we wemt so mad at Christmas I'm trying not to spend too much money on his Birthday! When can you start decorating the nursery then?!
NL - A tonne of BABY OUT vibes for you! Anything happened since the show?
I've been out and got H's present this arvo but we've done nothing else all day. N has a cold so we sacked off the playdate which also meant I didn't have to wear myself out by washing my hair . H will be home in a bit so I'm hoping I can grab a quick power nap!
26/03/2013 at 17:29
Absolutely nothing, just browny/red cm whenever I wipe. Few period type cramps but nothing worth writing home about...gah! I've decided to go out, let's play tempting fate! The pub is as almost close to the hospital as we are!
Phew Hepburn, sounds like you saved yourself a load of hassle there!
26/03/2013 at 17:45
I like your style NL, invoke the law of sod!!
26/03/2013 at 18:24
Definitely go to the pub NL! Come on baby!!
Hep, hope to get nursery done over the Easter hols. Mum has four weeks off so hoping M will have a sleepover there one night and we can sort the furniture. Exciting stuff!
26/03/2013 at 19:08
Hope something more starts happening for you NL! My friend went out for dinner after having her show and things started happening fast for her the next morning. Hope that the same happens for you!
