all ok here - heading to London on the train ( only today and thurs of next week in Lobfon so nearly there!!!)
NCT class on Sunday was really good and there are a nice bunch of people. All ok with bump, saw the midwife yesterday and she showed me how to hand express so I can start to get some colostrum in the freezer once I finish work.
Baby out vibes to all that need them

Al.. Yay to London nearly being done. Glad all ok with mw.. How much longer until you finish work?
Afm.. Had a lovely restful weekend away with h and we managed a trip to kiddicare which was fab.. Man it's huge!! 3 more weeks to work but no more Mondays! Nursery nearly sorted now. The bunting is made.. Once it's hung I'll post you some pics!
Hope all is well with everyone x

morning bexy - only 7 more working days to go for me ..... not too long for you either - defnitely the light at the end of the tunnel!! Glad you had a nice weekend. Kiddicare is huge, we have one in Nottingham now which is really handy (and far too tempting). I look forward to seeing pics of your bunting!!

I've been up since 5 so feeling quite groggy this morning! Glad your class was good, I've never been to any but people always say the nct ones are good! Yay to only 2 London trips left, you deserve your ML when it gets here!!
Hopefully I will perk up soon as I'm taking 3 children to the cinema this morning, it's been raining all night and I realised (in the middle of the night) that I'd left the buggy outside in the back garden, I did throw the rain cover over it but who know what state it will be in this morning!!
anyway, off for a tea and will pop back in a bit !! :-)

libby - have fun at the cinema - what are you going to see?? Fingers crossed the buggy has survived the night!!
09/04/2013 at 07:31
Al..I wish there was one nearer me! H walked round behind me in a daze! No not long now.. The end is in sight! Scary!
Libby... Enjoy the cinema. Hope they all behave themselves!

Al - Bet you are so happy that your London trips are nearly over. Glad that you had a glld NCT class and met some nice people and that your MW appointment went well
Bexy - Pleased to hear that you had a lovely relaxing weekend with H. Did you have any spa treatments? I would love to go away before baby comes but weekends are becoming very limited at the moment. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your nursery when the bunting is up
Libby - Sorry to hear that you had a bad night's sleep. Hope that the buggy is ok after being left in the rain. Have fun at the cinema, what you off to see?
AFM - Feeling so much better after a really good night's sleep (minus the wakes for toilet trips of course!). Think we have found a guy to do the driveway and managed to get him down in price so H is very happy about that! He is coming round this evening to finalise things and hopefully can make a start in 3 weeks so that it's all done before baby arrives. No baby news really, still kicking around happily! Have found over the last days that my appitite has reduced quite significantly. I suppose that as baby gets bigger there is less room in there for food!
Have a good day all x

Al - glad you had a good class. Have to confess i had a bit of a boob squeeze last week and i had colostrum already!
BB - sounds like a great weekend. I went to Kiddicare at the weekend too!
Libby - enjoy the cinema and i hope the buggy isnt too wet!
AFM - Didnt sleep great. This reflux is awful. I woke up twice choking where i had acid reflux and it had gone down the wrong way. Even gaviscon doesnt seem to help. Feeling ok apart from that though. Bouncing on my ball lots and leaning on it to try and get baby to turn a bit. She is head down but sidewsys on. Nursery nearly finished. Got car seat checked at the weekend. Car is going to garage on Thurs which i am dreading as looks like a steering issue. Friday is d-day for us as we find out which school G has got into - really nerve racking! My cm cant have G today as her kids have croup so cant get any bits done but never mind. Nice to have time with just me n G as we wont get chance to do it again for a while! Tomorrow i have my consultant appointment to devide on vbac v section. Going to go for vbac but all seems very scary now! I watched OBEM yesterday and had a few tears and though i am really not sure i can do this....

Sorry missed you Ferbs. Glad the drive is getting sorted. I eat about the same amount as my 4 year old at mealtimes now!! I just eat more often x

Al, so glad the London commutes are coming to an end. I really need to start hand expressing too and get some colostrum in the freezer - apparently it's much better for GD babies and they recommend you harvest some in case feeding is difficult.
Bexy,, I've still not been to our local kiddicare (over the river at lakeside) as I fear for my credit card if I do!
Libby, hope the buggy is ok - 3 kids to the cinema? You are one brave lady!
Ferbs, good news about the drive! I fluctuate wildly between having a massive appetite and none at all - neither of which is particularly good for me or my GD!
Maisie, enjoy your day with your LO. The reflux sounds awful - is there nothing else you can take in the meanwhile? I seem to spend my evenings bouncing on my gym ball now, am desperately trying to get him engaged!
AFM, I now have one officially fully baked baby . Still some small things to sort - my mum is coming round today to help sort a load of clothes for me and then put some in her loft (as I have too many clothes and she has a big loft) and then we'll go get C another car seat to put in our 2nd car so we can move the maxi cosi into mine for elvis. It's just sorting out stuff really! Have been sleeping terribly, and am feeling massively uncomfortable, but have decided to try to be as positive as possible in case we don't have another and these are my last few weeks of being pregnant ever. Elvis is v.active and appears quite comfy, so I think I'm here for a couple more weeks, or at least until I'm induced.
Love to all who come later, baby out vibes to VE and Hep.
bluewater 37+2 x

BW you must visit Kiddicare! No not much else for reflux. I think i need to eat lighter meals earlier. How exciting that you are fully baked! I will be too on Thurs. I think the gym ball helps with baby being engaged as i was 2/5ths on Thurs which is early for a second one and i am on my ball constantly when spd allows. Are they inducing you early with your GD or letting you go to term?

Hi ladies! Just checking in! On my holidays just now and having a lovley time! Internet connection is pretty rubbish, but never mind! I've not been on since I think Last thursday! Havr I missed anyones BA? I went for a wander round a wee town and felt like a freak show, people kept staring at me like they'd never seen a pregnant person before. I'm 34+5 today! Can't believe how fast time is passing!
Baby out vibes to all who need them! Xx

Sorry for bring AWOL, been keeping myself busy!
Al- Great the MW has shown you how to hand express, mine hasn't even asked me how I plan to feed!
Bexy- What did you buy at Kiddicare?
Libby- Hope the buggy was ok! How was the cinema?
Ferbs- Are you having the drive tarmacced (sp?)?
MM- You should try ranitidine tablets for the indigestion. Lots swear by it instead of Gaviscon. Buy over the counter from a chemist.
Bluewater- Sounds like a productive day! (Did my friend contact you about the oyster?) I'm going to be gutted if Elvis arrives before the Hepbump!!
RKB- No BAs since last week I don't think, not since Notts Lass and that was 29 March I think!
AFM- 39+2 today and think I've accepted that this baby isn't going to come until its ready so I've changed my attitude a bit. Am enjoying a bit of pampering and being able to duck in and out of the house while I can! Haircut and eyebrows waxed yesterday, lovely catch up for a large spritzer with my girl friends last night, cuppa with another friend this morning and a lazy afternoon with the boychild and some crochet this afternoon, then seeing my pin lady at 5pm. Trying to keep busy as don't think this baby is going to come until early/mid next week at the earliest tbh!
SPD and sciatica still shocking and movement is almost impossible but I thankfully have a very helpful mum and husband, & pin lady will hopefully help!!
Sending VE 50% of my baby out vibes and keeping the rest for myself !!

Afternoon all. Glad everyone is well today. I did a big reply earlier but it doesn't seem to have posted annoyingly!
Blood sugars seem to be under control so far so that's good. Saw normal Mw this morning who was useless and kept answering her mobile to colleagues during my appointment. Bump still measuring 3 weeks ahead. Not quite engaged as yet. All else fine. Bit disappointed I won't be able to try water this time again due to monitoring but never mind!
Have a good afternoon everyone

MM - poor you with the reflux but glad to hear that apart from that you are feeling ok. Hope that you get the school you want
BW - Yay for a fully cooked baby! I know what you mean about having too many clothes, my H insisted that I have a HUGE clear out before getting baby's room ready and even I was shocked at what I had stored everywhere! Good to hear you sounding positive. I keep trying to remember what a blessing pregnancy is when all I want to do is have a huge moan!
RKB - wondered where you were! Glad to hear that you are having a good holiday
Hep - Yes, having tarmac put on driveway with stone edging. Looked at having all over stone before collapsing at the cost! Hope that pin lady brings some much needed ease to your SPD and loads of baby out vibes for you!
WH - How rude of your MW! Glad that blood sugars are under control although shame that you wont be able to try the water
09/04/2013 at 18:37
Hep, yes she did and is taking it! Coming to collect it in a couple of wks, though have said that that date may need to change, Elvis dependant! Hope the pin lady an do something to bring labour on as much as she can help the SPD.
Maisie, have got an induction date booked (not quite at term), though am also have a sweep next week to hopefully bring labour on naturally.
WH, glad to hear your sugars are ok. Has the MW said a definite no to water?

Hi ladies, sorry, I never seem to be on the tri thread as I can''t find the time to do personals but wanted to say hello to everyone and let you all know I am still here!!!
39+4 and like Hep thinking this baby will just be here when it is here, maximum 2 and a bit weeks. H is now off for a month so planning a couple of things with just me, him and I so the baby is bound to turn up now!!
Had a lovely day today with Granny having I for a few hours so I actually got stuff done.
Saw midwife who asked if I would LIKE a sweep next week, erm, yes, that would be loooovely!!!
