Morning all, exciting stuff about the Royal baby - Jacob thinks they should name it Prince Gap but I hope he's wrong!
Last day at work today - yay! Teaching this morning and a mountain of stuff to do this afternoon and back for the play tonight so a long day but then it's all over till May! Two days till I get my section date too, so a busy but good week ahead.

I am being brave and venturing into third tri- it's a bit scary in here as this is where people are actually having babies!
Margot- exciting to get your date booked. Then the countdown can really begin.
AFM- woke up to the loudest thunder storm I've ever heard. W slept through it all though! Have to go to the post office today to post some eBay stuff I've sold do hoping it doesn't pour down for the whole day.
Feel very excited that the royal baby has arrived. Looking forward to hearing the name.

Didn't get round to posting yesterday, well actually I did I just realised 5 hours later I firot to hit the send reply button...
M - hurrah for your last day, hope it goes ok and the play is a success!
JT - welcome to the big girls' club! Weirdly Inhave to post some eBay stuff today too, also hoping I don't get caught in the rain.
AFM - had a lovely day in the garden yesterday, one fried and her boy over to play with A in the morning then as she left my bestie and her 8 month girl came over whilst A napped. She's a midwife and had a prod of my belly, Little Bob was lying oblique, head down but nowhere near my pelvis. I'm sure with all her wriggling last night she's in a totally different position now.
Also had whooping cough jab yesterday an it was fine, but today it's really tender.
Today we're off to nursery as the photographer is there today then off to a friend's for a playdate. Need to get to the post office at some point too.
It rained and thundered all night long but still feel hot and muggy.
Congrats to our other 3rd Tri-er Kate, can't wait for the name. I have a feeling it'll be George and if so I've promised H I'll give up on trying to convince him Georgiana or Georgia are good names for Bob.

Hello all - and welcome to a new face!
Just a quickie from me. MW went fine yesterday, bloods taken, urine fine, MRSA swabs done. Baby growing ok etc etc.
not sure of today's plans. Just a chilled (pah, it's still hot) day.
Rain, thunder, lightening and a power cut didn't wake me at all. The only thing that woke me was feeling very sweaty from a bit of spooning in the night. Must have been tired or I would have shoved hubby away for making me hot!

Margot - enjoy your last day
JT - hi and welcome.
BG - sounds like you had a nice day yesterday. Hope A sits still for the photographer.
Afm - it's so muggy here. I'm melting already. It's meant to rain later so will probably go out this morning. D has woken on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Joy. Will try and burn some of her anger out this morning.

Margot - woooo for last day at school today! Hope all goes smoothly.
JT - welcome to 3rd tri, nice to have you here :)
BG - hope it goes well with the photographer today!
IDC - glad all went well yesterday. I made your non-alcoholic Pimms last night btw, so delish!
D - hope you manage to cheer your LO up!
AFM - spent most of last night glued to the BBC news coverage of the Royal baby - so excited for them! I was convinced it was a girl though...baby was very wriggly yesterday (I think it was all the excitement) but a bit quieter this morning, I think it's tired out! Got a pregnancy massage after work today as been having a really achy back recently, can't wait!
23/07/2013 at 08:42
M - enjoy your last day!
Jelly - welcome to 3rd tri - i'm still in denial about actually having a baby!
BG - my arm was a bit red and itchy after my jab but it only lasted a couple days,
IDC - sorry youre hot and bothered, I was so grumpy last week because od it.
Daisy - Hope D isnt too much of a handful today.
AFM - MW today, hoping she'll have a poke about and give me a sweep so I know whats going on! No real other plans than that.

Good morning ladies,
Margot – yay for the last day! Enjoy the play this evening.
Jellytot – welcome to the scary world over here. Fingers crossed the rain holds off when you venture out, it keeps stopping and starting here so far today.
Bridget – nice one on the posting yesterday I’m surprised I’ve not done something like that yet. Sounds like you had a good day though. Boo to the whooping cough making your arm tender, no help but mine itched for a fair amount of time.
IDC – glad all went well at mw yesterday. Have a good one today.
Daisy – good luck on burning off some of D’s mood. Hope she cheers up soon.
Popcorn – oooh, nice on the pregnancy massage. Very jealous!
Porkchop – hope the mw goes well today.
AFM – 38 weeks today!! It’s getting closer to meeting our baby who was being very wriggly last night and this morning. Very exciting about the royal baby but made H and I even more excited to meet our little one. Still having the twinges on and off, then last night I woke with crazy heartburn ending up being sick. So H went and dug out the sick bucket for me, which I’ve not seen since I got over the ms. I wasn’t actually sick again but definitely felt like I was going to be. Fingers crossed it was just a one night thing… Though did mean I was exhausted and got a proper sleep in, somehow slept through the thunderstorm. H’s last day at school today before the summer, I think he’s looking forward to being around in the day to help me just in case and once he’s home, we’re more than happy for baby to arrive when it’s ready!

Margot, enjoy your last day!!
Welcome to 3rd tri JT! Final countdown now!
BG, sounds like you had a fab day yesterday. How handy to have a mw friend!
IDC, glad the mw went well. Hoorah for a good night's sleep too!
Daisy, hope D cheers up later
PopC, ooh massage sounds fantastic. Enjoy!
PorkC, fx for a sweep today!
Sapphire, I've had crazy heartburn this week too. Really unpleasant. Hopefully it'll settle down
Kate, congrats on the arrival of Prince Cambridge!
AFM - 39 weeks!! really poor night's sleep. Was up for a wee every hour and terrible reflux, then got up at 5am for no real reason. Don't even think baby is engaged yet so not sure what all the weeing is about! This afternoon I'm meeting a new mummy friend for a drink - we're going to a paint-a-pot place to make a present for our babies. This morning I'll mostly be watching about the royal baby and drinking gaviscon!

Morning everyone. It's still so hot here too, even after thunder storms all night! The lightning and thunder was so impressive last night, although it didn't make sleeping easy.
Margot - enjoy your last day! Hopefully it will go really quickly as you are busy.
Jellytot - Welcome to 3rd tri. Hope there is not a queue in the post office and you get there dry!
BG - hope your arm doesn't feel too tender. Sounds like you have got a busy day ahead.
IDC - I think a restful day sounds good. Glad the midwife went well yesterday.
Daisy - Hope you get some rain that will clear the air and make it a bit more bearable.
Popcorn - I also thought it was a girl! Enjoy your pregnancy massage later, sounds great.
porkchop - hope it goes well at the midwife appointment and she tells you what you want to hear! Let us know how it goes.
Sapphire - not long to go now! Hoping you don't suffer with heartburn today as well. It will be lovely for your H to be around.
AFM - Had our last antenatal class last night, as next week is all about breastfeeding and is with a different lady. feels very odd that we are now far enough along to have finished! I have arranged for the girls on maternity leave from the course to meet tomorrow for a drink so we shall see how that goes. I was also really excited about the royal birth, and really want to know the name, although I know we might be waiting for a bit before they announce it. I just hope they don't use any names on our shortlist, although that is highly unlikely! had a quick chat with H this morning about names, and we both have the same top 2 girls names, although our top 2 boys names differ - we have one name the same, but our first choices are different.

23/07/2013 at 10:59
PC - good luck with the midwife, hope she gets things moving for you
Sapphire - that's rubbish about the heartburn, hopefully a one off like you say. Will be nice for you and your H to spend some time together before baby arrives :)
PW - jealous of your afternoon of Royal Baby watching, I just keep having a sneak a peek on the BBC website at work.
bunny - we had a girls name on our shortlist that had quite short odds for the Royal Baby so I was a little relieved that it was a boy, none of our boy's names were very regal so I think we're safe!
Noodle - countdown to finishing work, so exciting!
Luna - hiiiiii! hope your last week at work isn't too stressful :)
23/07/2013 at 13:10
Pirate wife- what a lovely idea making a present for baby. Maybe you could show us a pic later?

Luna- hope your last week at work goes quickly.
23/07/2013 at 13:35
Been a busy morning so just catching up now. I was a terrible 2nd tri-er so am determined to be better in 3rd tri. Here goes!
Margot – hooray for last day at work, hope it’s over nice n quickly for you!
JT – Welcome! It is scary over here, but I’m sure we will be settled in in no time!
BG – Sounds like a nice day yesterday. Hope photographer goes well!
IDC – Glad midwife went well. Hopefully the thunder clears the air a bit and we can all get a better sleep!
Daisy – Hope D is in a better mood by now!
Popcorn – I thought royal baby was a girl too! Enjoy the pregnancy massage!
Porkchop – Hope you get some good news at MW today!
Sapphire – Ooh, sorry about the heartburn lovely. Not long til its all over and it’s bubba getting you up in the night instead!
PW – nice idea the paint a pot thing, enjoy! And hope the gaviscon is helping!
Bunny – Scary all antenatal classes are over. Hope you were paying attention hehe. Sounds like a nice idea to meet up with the other girls for a drink. Might be a wee bit of new mummy company after the babies get here too if all goes well!
Noodle – Hope MW app goes well x
AFM – nothing much to report really. My baby is being a wee minx today, hardly moving for ages then giving me a few cracking thumps or having a wee wriggle then back to being lazy again. I’ve noticed if she is quite active one day the next day she will be quite quiet, doesn’t stop me giving her a wee prod just to make sure she’s ok though!
23/07/2013 at 13:42
BG- I think they might go for George. Do you have any other names on your list or was it only those two?
IDC glad to hear the storm didn't wake you
Daisy- hope D is in a better mood
PC enjoy your massage
Sapphire- hope the sickness stays away
PW sounds like a fun afternoon
Bunny sounds nice that you have got some mummy friends already lined up before baby arrives!
Noodle hope MW appt goes well
Luna hope hv visit is ok
I am getting very impatient to hear the royal name. Is it that they purposely delay announcing it rather than they haven't decided on one? I just assumed we would know at the same time as the birth but i suppose they want to spread the excitement out over a few days?
23/07/2013 at 14:09
Just nipped back on. Glad the Pimms went well Popcorn. Its surprising good!
Desperately waiting for son to nap so I can get on an do stuff!
23/07/2013 at 15:30
JT - I have a few others. It's all a bit acedemic as H has vetoed names that are derived from, or can be shortened to, a boys name. But soo many people tell of their H's being a lot more persuasive immediatley after the baby is born. I sincerely doubt my H would just 'roll over' like that though.
