Morning all, lots more baby out vibes for Ferbs x
Not a bad day yesterday, full day of teaching with PE in the afternoon which wasn't very nice due to dreadful rib ache but much better after a good night's sleep. Doing some nice small group stuff this morning which should be pleasant then off to meet some MDers tonight which will also be nice. Have had so many people ask if there is just one in there this weekend that I'm now conscious of how big I am! Sill, only 9 weeks to go till I get to meet my baby which is exciting.

Margot - hope you have a lovely day, who you going out with tonight?
Nothing much to report here, am surviving without my H. Got A's parents afternoon today so will see what the little horror gets up to at nursery :-)
Baby out vibes to Ferbs!

Margot - I'm sure from your bump pics that you definately dont look like youre carrying more than one, if that's the case then I must be having triplets!
Ally - Hope A has been a good boy!
AFM - antenatal yesterday was a revelation, turns out my H is scared stiff and is likely to have a complete panic attack on me! He suffers from anxiety sometimes anyway but for some reason I didnt consider that labour might scare him. He wants my mum to be on standby as a backup labour partner in case he passes out - gulp! I can see it being me that keeps him calm at this rate! Dad told me last night that I was fat, so that was nice :-( I asked him if he would say it if I wasnt pregnant and he said no, but couldnt answer why it was ok as I am! Men!

Margot - Have a good MD meet up, some people are just plain rude when it comes to commenting on bump size!
Ally - Hope parents afternoon goes well
PC - Hopefully your H will surprise you when the time comes to give birth and be able to support you
AFM - Had aquanatal last night which was nice as there were lots of new faces there who were a bit friendlier than the last group. Seeing a friend for dinner tonight so looking forward to that. On to the 3 week countdown at work now and things are manic trying to get everything done in time and prepare for my replacement starting in 2 weeks. Still got slightly swollen feet and I have made the mistake of squeezing them into my boots today (mainly because the only shoes that are comfortable are flip flops and its too cold for them), they feel rather tight but I daren't take them off in case I can't get them back on again! he he!
Have a good day everyone

Morning all - so sorry i don't get in here very often, i can only log in at work (on a real PC) and i can only do that when there is no one else around!!
Margot - i also regularly get asked if i'm carrying two, and i try to answer politely but i'm finding it really hard!
Ally - have fun at parents afternoon!
porkchop - i bet your hubs surprises himself and totally steps up to the plate! Your dad is a meany, but i'm not one to judge when my OH has been calling me tubs for weeks.
twinkletoes - 3 weeks left at work you lucky monkey! you are working quite late though!
AFM - totally fed up with people commenting on my size all the time. I've always been sensitive about my weight anyway so this really isn't helping. I know i look really big - but it's all out the front and i've got a very short torso, the baby has no where to go but out! At some point i'm going to snap and bite someone's head off.

Still here I am afraid! Feeling thoroughly fed up at the moment as I'm not sleeping and in so much pain, I just want this baby out! Spent the afternoon/early evening yesterday having contractions but again, they stopped and nothing concrete came of them. Need to call the midwife in a bit as baby's movements have become quite sporadic, hardly anything in the day and then it goes mental from about 11pm-2am.
On a more positive note, my friend had her baby yesterday and I am so happy for her.
Margot - have a good time this evening with other MDers. Ignore all the comments from others, people always have something to say and there is no right or wrong bump size
Ally - hope that parents evening goes well
PC - am sure when it comes to it your H will be fab. I have been shocked at how much mine has stepped up to the challenge these last few weeks and the strength and support he has shown me.
TT - great news about 3 week countdown! Hope that your feet swelling goes down
PB - try and ignore the comments, they are unnecessary. I snapped at my BIL the other day when he said I was huge - told him that I was growing a life an midwife was happy with my size. He soon shut up!
Have a good day all x

Morning Margot! How rude people asking if there's more than one!! Enjoy your MD meet later!
Ally, hope parents afternoon goes well! Must be quite interesting to find out what they're like at nursery
PC, oh goodness - I'm glad your H has talked to you about it now. Doesn't sound like a bad idea having your mum on stand by. My H doesn't have anxiety, but he is v squeamish (sp?!) and a bit useless, so sure I'll be supporting him too! Ignore your dad... dad's are useless too!!
TT, glad you enjoyed aquanatal. I keep meaning to go to our local class, but it never quite appeals on a Monday night!
PB, it's so rude isn't it :( so long as you, baby and midwife are happy then that's all that matters!
Ferbs - where are you!? Baby out vibes if you need them!!!
AFM - had last NHS antenatal class yesterday which was good! H learnt how to swaddle and change a nappy. Also saw the consultant led unit and postnatal ward which was helpful, but a bit scarier than seeing the cushty mw-led unit last week. Got my first NCT class tonight! Excited but nervous - hoping they'll be a nice bunch of people there to make friends with.

Margot have a good time meeting MDers. People are so cheeky!
Ally hope parents afternoon goes well
Porkchop poor mr PC! Nce to have a backup plan
Twinkle toes ouch to the swollen feet
Pombear people are rude, try not to worry baby is growing well
Ferbs come on baby!
PW enjoy your nct classes
Afm finally had to admit defeat and finish work yesterday after my night shift, I was in agony after 12hr shift and was no good for anyone so my manager told me to get sick note. So next two weeks off sick, then 6 weeks annual leave and then mat leave starts at 38 weeks. Any ideas what to do for next 10ish weeks? Really painful sciatic pain today but I'm going to go for a walk I think. Got another midwife apt this afternoon as she forgot her Doppler last week!

Margot - *eurgh* PE doesn’t sound good. Hope you’re having a much more relaxed day. It’s crazy that people find making those comments totally acceptable.
Ally – hope the parents afternoon goes well.
Porkchop – at least you are finding this out now rather that while you are in labour so you can have a backup plan in place. How rude of your own Dad?!
Twinkletoes – yay to having a nicer group for aquanatal. Enjoy your day and I hope your feet aren’t too bad by the end of the day.
Pombear – I know it’s tough but try and ignore them, If midwife is happy with the size of your bump then you should be too. And use that to remind people!
Ferbs - *baby out vibes*
Pirate Wife – so there are some advantages then of my hospital not doing tours. Enjoy your NCT class tonight, I’m sure there’ll be some lovely people there.
Duckford – being off work is the best thing for you both. You may be surprised how quickly some days will fly past… you get used to it. Hope mw has her Doppler this afternoon.
AFM – since baby has kicked up it’s level of moving around to get comfy.. my belly has been moving quite a lot, me and H just sat watching it last night in amazement. Reminding ourselves that it’ll be here in the not too distant future. Though H still putting off narrowing our list of names down any further.. maybe tonight I’ll have more luck with that one.

Ferbs, that's a shame, was hoping things would have gotten going by now. Must be hard not to get too frustrated.
DF, Hope you feel better later. It's for the best if you're in pain. Hope you find a project to occupy you for the next few weeks - maybe knitting or sewing??
Sapphire, it's lovely seeing belly move! My H thought I was doing it once (as if I still have stomach muscles!?). Hope you make name progress tonight
