SG I saw your post last night, I hope those bh/ pains are turning into something for you soon! Come on atilla.
afm better nights sleep but hubs alarm has woken me up this morning. We got a bit of rain yesterday which cooled the place down, thankfully! I'be got a busyish day at work today but going to try and sneak in a swim at some point if I can do as it really helps my back. The ranitidine seems to be working too as I've not had heartburn or acid for a few days! Whoop!
After today only 8 days left at work!

Morning imp (and those to follow.) Yay for a day off, even if it is a busy one. I hope you do manage to squeeze a swim in somewhere along the line. I'm a bit jealous of your rain, we've not really had any yet and it's still quite warm. Woop for only 8 days left at work, that's really not long at all. Thanks for the vibes!
I had a fairly good night, J was only up once which wasn't too bad, then he was up just after 6am. Lie ins are a distant memory! He's at nursery today so I think the plan for today is to try to be productive and get bits sorted, but I think H and I are going to go out for lunch somewhere too and make the most of being baby/child free- it'll be a few months before we'll be able to eat out without a baby soon!

Imp - glad the ranitidine seems to be working. Hope you manage to fit your swim in and yay to only 8 days at work!
SG - Hope you have a lovely day :)
H is taking me to Plymouth today for a bit of shopping and a Nandos. The sun is shining but it feels a bit cooler and hopefully it'll stay that way for a while!

Quick update for you all on leelee.
She lost her plug on Monday and her waters went. She was asked to go into the hospital yesterday and was given the gel to induce her. Nothing happened so she was told she would be put on the drip, although they were too busy in the end so she's been waiting ever since. She's hoping it might go ahead today though so I'm sure she'd appreciate our vibes, sending you speedy labour vibes leelee so that you can meet your little man really soon.
SG I hope you have a nice day, lunch sounds perfect, make the most of your child free time!
Ixia enjoy your shopping. It's cooler here too, long may it stay that way.

Imp - That rain really has cleared the air hasn't it? Bliss! Hope you manage to squeeze in that swim and that the drugs continue to do the trick for you. Those 8 days are going to fly by!!
SG - I know the feeling about lie ins...6-6.30 is O's usual time but this morning I was up before him with the aches. Hope you have a good day and definitely go for that last peaceful child free lunch. I miss going out for food hay you can actually eat, without battling with a toddler who wants to get down/run around/make noise! Hope Attila doesn't keep you waiting too much longer though lovely.
Ixia - Sounds like you've a lovely day planned today. I do love a Nandos! Hope it stays a bit cooler for you.
Lee - lots and lots of swift labour vibes for you for today. Really hope you get to meet your little man before the day is out.
AFM - sorry didn't get back on yesterday...would appear personals, mobile phones and 2 year olds don't mix (he keeps grabbing phone mid personals and switching to his beloved Peppa Pig! ;-) This afternoon I've got my first appointment of the week, this one with my new mw (we had to switch over when we moved). It's my first appointment since 16 weeks so it's been a while!! First though I'm taking O to soft play to wear him out a bit ;-) Baby wise all appears well and lots of lovely big movements :-)

Morning imp, thanks for the LL update! Much appreciated, and I so hope things get going very quickly for her. We didn't end up getting any storms yesterday, but it did cool down. However it happened I don't particularly mind. Great news about the ranitidine, too.
SG, enjoy your lunch with H, and hopefully Atilla doesn't keep you waiting or long afterwards.
Ixia, shopping and nandos sounds like fun, what are you shopping for? Anything interesting?
AFM, 38 weeks today! Very sore ribs now, even though baby has dropped. I think I'm going out for cake and coming back to mine with an MDer who hasn't been on MD in a while, but I'm not sure if we ever arranged a time. Should get on that. Even if we cancel I think I still want cake ;). No signs that Holly Jolly is on her way any time soon, well.. No more than usual, anyways, but I'm pretty sure all the BH are nothing.

Imp - glad you got a better night but boo to the alarm. How incosiderate! Hope you get your swim in. I really need to start swimming, it would be nice to just feel lighter for a bit I think!
SG - also sending you attila out vibes! Hope your lunch with H is good. Going anywhere nice? You've got the weather for al fresco even!
Ixia - enjoy nando's! I'm going there tonight too. Love a nando's. Are you on mat leave now? I've missed a few threads but I think I remember seeing that when I was catching up?
Leelee - everything crossed that today's the day!! Hurry up little boy!
Coco - hope the mw goes well and you like her. Is it easy switching over? I have no idea how to do it. Shouldn't need to for a few more weeks but completion is looming!
Wispa - happy 38 weeks! Glad HJ has dropped and hopefully that means your ribs will get less sore from now. Hope the cake and meet, or at least the cake, goes well today!!
AFM- sorry I've not been on for a while, long story short I was admitted to hospital over the weekend when visiting MIL for a suspected blood clot. Turns out it was nothing they could see but I had injections and the like just in case. I was on the monitor a lot though and I loved hearing how much bubs moves as I only feel 1 in 6 kicks if that! Otherwise the searches are all done on the house just waiting for the bank to ok it then all that's left are the contracts. I'm hoping another month max. Getting impatient now!

Argh I missed you earlier Coco! Don't worry about personals, they're hard on a phone at the best of times, let alone wks. Toddler who wants peppa! Glad to hear baby is moving lots, and I hope your appt goes well.
Jonesy, how frightening! Glad to hear they didn't find anything. Do you mind me asking what made you go in in the first place and what made them suspect a clot? Great news about the house, too, I know that the last few weeks are the most frustrating, though, so fingers crossed it progresses really quickly!

Imp - glad the ranitidine seems to be working, hope you get your swim!
SG - hope you had a nice lunch - baby out vibes for you!
Ixia - enjoy your day out and Nandos in Plymouth, you must be from my neck of the woods!
Leelee - Hope you are having baby cuddles now!
Coco - hope your appointment went well.
Wispa - hope you had a cake filled day and you are not too sore!
Jonesy - sounds scary, glad you are ok though!
AFM - had midwife appointment this afternoon. Baby is still being an awkward one - must be a boy and take after their Dad! Baby is still breech, midwife says it feels like its bum has engaged in my pelvis which probably isn't helping it to try and turn! Have a presentation scan booked for Friday as well as my growth scan next Wednesday - as bump is still measuring small! This baby will be up to 8 scans by next week, little attention seeker!
Trying to remain calm but I really really don't like hospitals, so the thought of a c section and a hospital stay are pretty scary!
21/05/2014 at 20:25
Vix, I hope baby turns, but if they don't I've heard that planned sections are really quite calm affairs, though I guess if you're afraid of hospitals that won't help much. If the bum is engaged and baby is frank breech they do say that a vaginal birth is possible if you have a midwife experienced with it. Though, I guess if things went south and you ended up with an emergency section that would be worse than a calm planned one? I don't know...

Am hoping they turn too. Hopefully on Friday they can tell us more about our options, never thought I would have to make these kind of decisions about labour!
