It's super quiet around here these days, I hope everyone is ok and is just too busy doing lots of nice things?
I feel like I'm on proper countdown at work now, only another 13 days left at work, I cannot wait to finishup now.
I'm still sleeping in my hand splints which are helping, and I'm off to thr physio again this morning for my pgp. I hope it helps a bit again.

Argh, after saying I wanted to get the thread moving again I disappeared for a few days, sorry!!
Imp, I take it physio helped a bit before, then? Can you do what you do in physio at home every day? I've found doing some yoga poses for spd at home help me get thought he night. I hope you do get some more relief, it sounds like you've got it worse than most.
AFM, baby is term today!! I'm in a group on Facebook for June babies, and there have been 4 already born; one was born at 37 weeks, two at 35+5, and one at 35+6. It just seems crazy to me that all but one of them was due after me. So, I've added nappies to the online order for this week, along with the mat pads, snacks and drinks for the hospital bag, and I'm going to figure out how to strap in the car seat today. Though, having done all this baby will now decide to come as late as possible. But that's still only 5 weeks. Argh.
Anyways, it's a beautiful day here, so I'm going to try to take Wispa for a longer walk than we've managed recently. I've started to get BH when walking her, so have to sit down on the benches we pass.

Definitely has got a little quiet around here - hoping for some birth announcements soon!
Imp - So exciting nearly being done with work! Hope the physio can help.
AFM - not much to report here! Lots of lying with my hips propped up on pillows in an attempt to get baby to turn from breech. Baby is certainly moving lots, just hoping it is in the right direction!
Only 15 working days left for me. I am excited and rather daunted by it all at the same time. I have been at my job for 7 years and have never had more than 2 weeks off so letting go of it all is going to be a big change!
Had another NCT class last night, both me and OH have really enjoyed it and have found it worth every penny. Only our 4 hour session on Saturday and next weeks class to go then we are done!
Have the HV coming over today for their 'introductory visit' hope it doesn't take too long and they don't mind a slightly excitable dog!

Missed you Wispa - is crazy how full term sneaks up on you! Hope baby cooks for a few more weeks for you. Enjoy the sunshine today :)

Wispa happy term day! I hopr HJ doesn't keep you waiting 5 weeks, FX for a punctual little girlie! Enjoy the sunny walk too, it's love and sunny here today- forst time for about a week I think. I hope the BH aren't too bad for you, take it nice ans easy.
There isn't much i can do for the PGP, I can do things to minimise it, like getting up a certain way, wearing a suport belt etc, but no exercises- it isn't that type of thing. So the physio just mainpulates it and she might do some acupuncture today, it eases it for a few days before it comes back.
Vix not long left at work for you now, I think the way you're feeling is normal. I bet once you finish you will be ready for your next big challenge. Glad you've enjoyed your NCT classes, have you made some friends too?

Imp, woohoo to 13 days of work left!! Good luck today at the physio, I hope she helps you again. Glad the sexy splints are working out for you!
Wispa, happy term day! Enjoy the sunshine with Wispa :)
Vix, hurrah to only 15 days left at work! I bet it flies! Glad you're enjoying your NCT classes.
AFM, I've started to feel really sick in the evenings, so sick that I can't bring myself to eat anything. I think it's linked to my acid. I'm going to try ranitidine today and if that helps I'll see if I can get a prescription for it.
Housewise the mortgage paperwork was released yesterday and we had the damp inspection, so just waiting for the results of that. The vendor's sol told our sol that they'd sent out the contracts on the 7th May, but nothing has turned up yet so I've kicked our sol to chase. If they haven't sent it out why bother lying?? Grrrr.

Imp - 13 days?? Mat leave is so close. Glad the splints are helping and hopefully physio will help some more. PGP sounds awful.
Wispa - happy term!! I hope HJ doesn't leep you waiting too much longer especially now you're all organised. It's a lovely day today so I hope you enjoy your walk without too many bh going on. What snacks did you buy?
Vix - not long left at work for you either! You might have trouble switching off the first couple of days but once baby is here I bet work doesn't even cross your mind. Glad the NCT classes are worth it, have you learnt lots then? I have no idea what my NHS ones will cover but I will find out in 3 weeks. Hope the hv is nice.
Fig - i feel your pain with the acid I really do. I managed to get something on prescription on Monday and so far it's been much much better. Just mild as opposed to making me want to cry pain! Hope the solicitors get a move on with the paperwork. Our vendors solicitors also said they'd sent loads of stuff when they havent but ours are on the ball. Searches have been done now so just waiting for the contracts to be agreed I think.
AFM - had my 28 week appointment today and bean is just below the 90th centile. Still head down so I'm hoping he stays that way! Has been for 8 weeks so fingers crossed it's comfy like that. Quite gutted that we're moving as I think I will have to change mw and I really like her but oh well. I have my consultant appointment for my heart on Monday so hopefully I can start making a birth plan after that so I can feel a bit more prepared.
Hi to those that follow!

Vix, glad to hear you're enjoying NCT, I liked our class as well! We re meeting up in a pub tonight prebaby (though one girl already had hers last week!!)
Imp, that's annoying, but at least you can minimise it. Getting out of bed is the absolute worst for me, nothing makes that easier.
Fig, sorry you're feeling so grim in the evenings. FX the doctor can give you something to help. Exciting news on the house front, but I feel your frustrations regarding their solicitors.
Jonesy, we got some vitamin water for me as I'm not a fan of sports drinks, cola for Ant as he didn't want anything else. Snack-wise we got nutrigrain bars, dried fruit, and hobnobs. Our hospital is right next door to a big sainsburys, so if we end up staying hospital longer than expected I foresee me sending Ant there to get sandwiches or something! Did you have a scan at your 28 wk appt? Yay for head being down, I'm sure they'll stay that way now. With first babies there's less room to move around, so I think they're less likely to move back to breech once they're cephalic. That's what the sonographer told me at 23 weeks, anyways. Holly Jolly was cephalic then and I asked if she could turn around again and was told it was unlikely!

Oh nice and healthy wispa! I am thinking more jelly babies and skittles haha. Hobnobs are an excellent shout though I write those down! Nice to have a Sainsbury's. Ours is near a b&q which isn't quite as helpful. Nope no scan she just had a feel and I know I definitely have little feet getting under my ribs every now and then so it made sense.

I figured things full of sugar will be good, but I didn't want to be too unhealthy, nutrigrain bars aren't the healthiest, but I feel better eating them than a snickers.. And dried fruit is another of those unhealthy healthy things. Usually bad because of how jam packed with sugar they are, but I figure they're probably the healthiest sugar-packed food to get through labour. And I love dried strawberries and mango, but we don't usually buy them as they're pricey.
But hey, we could end up having non of them!

Evening all. I'm late to the thread today, I hope there are some people still about!
Imp, yay to not long at work, but boo to needing splints. I had them lat time and they're so annoying- especially when you need to get up to pee in the night. I hope the physio helps today.
Wispa, yay to being term, and getting the last bits sorted for your hospital bag. Your snacks sound yummy!
Vix, I'm glad the nct classes are going well, hopefully you'll have a good support network of other new mums through them, hope the HV appt goes well, they don't do that in my area, not sure if I'm missing out or not!
Fig, sorry you're feeling so rotten, I hope the ranitidine helps. Virtual slaps being sent to the solicitors.
Jonesy, glad your meds are helping with the acid. I'm romping through the Rennies, but I don't think it's bad enough to need anything on prescription. Lol to the midwife giving you a centile measurement based on a feel of your tummy. My bump measured big throughout the last pregnancy and J was 6lb3. I have no faith In the power of a tape measure!
Afm, it's really really hurting to walk. I walked for maybe 5 mins to try to get some raspberry leaf tea capsules earlier (unsuccessfully, grr) and cried when I got back to the car as it hurt that much. I'm definitely ready not to be pregnant any more. Sorry for the whinge!
