CC - hope the gingerbread men and lollies help. Enjoy a relaxing day.
Hello everyone, sorry I've been AWOL for so long. The sickness kicked in 2 weeks ago and I'd been suffering pretty badly again. To the point of migraines too if I tried looking at any kind of screen. After being prescribed some tablets that didn't work, I ended up in hospital at the weekend for 2nights. 4l of fluid pumped into me, and not throwing everything back up meant I was allowed home on Monday. I'm now on 3 x cyclizine a day and a thiamine tablet too. Still have the odd bit of nausea but fingers crossed no return trip to the hospital for me. It was really interesting thoughts find out they reckon I suffered with hg with M too and should have been admitted then aswell. As I mentioned it was a lot worse with her. Anyway, I'm back and now 8+5 today. Having a chilled out day, resting when I can.
Hi to all who follow and hope you're all having a better time of it than I have.

Tentatively stepping in here. According to the midwife I am 10 weeks today. Morning sickness seems to have gotten worse this week, fingers crossed it will settle down again. Counting down to the scan date now but still a little way off. Already had the booking in appointment with the midwife.
CC- did the gingerbread men make a difference?
Sapphire- make sure your getting some rest and I hope the sickness tablets work for you.

CC - what happened to your ankle? I hope the gingerbread men and ice lollies have helped with he sickness.
S - so sorry that you've been having a pretty crappy time, I hope the medication sorts it out in the long run. Hope you have a relatively chilled day x
BW - congratulations and welcome to 1st tri! I hope your sickness settles down soon.
AFM - I'm not feeling very pregnant ATM, very limited sickness and no sore boobs, or anything, so I'm starting to worry that something has gone wrong. I've got my scan tomorrow morning, so I'm guessing that's causing my worries.

Hi all, apologies, I'm another who has been AWOL. I have been lurking just haven't got round to posting.
CC - Ice lollies and gingerbread men sound good! Hope they help a little.
Sapph - sorry to hear you've been so ill, here's hoping the meds sort you out!
BW - welcome and congratulations. Hope your sickness settles down soon
DS - here's hoping that you're just having an easier time of it this pregnancy. I've been similar - nowhere near as queasy as with the other 2 or as tired. I tested again last week to make sure! Fingers crossed all goes well at your scan tomorrow xx
Not much to report from me, I have my booking in appt next week and scan in 3 weeks. I'm on the hunt for maternity clothes as everything's starting to get tight but not having much luck so far! It seems like everywhere only sells online now and I'd rather try on before I buy. I hate trawling the internet for clothes! I suppose that's what I get for binning all my old stuff.
D 9+1 x

CC enjoy your lazy day
Sapphire- oh gosh, that sounds terrible. I really hope it starts to settle down
BW- hi and congratulations, I remember you and loving your name from TTC
DS- is it the blissful transformation to 2nd tri 'glowing' that I am looking forward to?? I hope its just symptoms settling and you have a wonderful scan tomorrow- can't wait to hear about it.
AFM the long working days and over the weekend really took its toll yesterday- I felt like I was swimming in glue and not functioning at all, it triggered a migraine and I had a pretty crappy night. I've taken the day off today and have barely managed to move all morning. Finally starting to feel a bit more human now!! I've just got one long day to get through tomorrow and then I'm off on my hollibobs for 2.5 weeks, I'm hoping this exhaustion will make the long haul flight skip by!!!

Hi DD, I'm starting to notice clothes getting tight around the middle- esp in the evenings, so may need to look when I get back. If you find any gems that do 'in house' maternity clothes to try on let me know. I'm still down on my prepregnancy weight though thanks to not eating much, sickness is improving now so hoping the scales to start going up soon (...I've never said THAT before!)

Sapphire - Oh dear that sounds awful.. I hope that the tablets are helping and you don't end up back in hospital!
BW - Congratulations! How exciting! I remember you from the TTC board!
DS - Good luck for tomorrow's scan.. I am sure we would all be the same, I know I am when i have a symptom free day!
DD - Hope you find some nice clothes! I am fat enough to not show until about 24 weeks! haha so can get away without mat clothes for awhile! - But I am on the look out for some nice dresses - I have a busy november (A wedding and then MIL's birthday party.)
RJ - Hope you feel better soon! I am sure Aus will help you feel better lol!
The gingerbread really didn't help but they did taste yummy lol! - H took me for lunch but I struggled to eat because sickness has really kicked in today!
My ankle - Is a long on going problem I had a car accident in 2012 and it's been pinned (Very little movement and now Osteoarthritis in my ankle which causes pain and swelling... I have to wear a brace but tend to keep it for when I go out and about and not around the house)

RL - just one more day, just one more day! Keep swimming! Hope your holiday does the trick for you and you get some much needed rest!
H&M had some bits onstore but I find their sizing all over the place. I've given in and ordered some stuff from Next, free delivery to store so I can pick it up and try on there and then and also some from ASOS - free delivery and I had a 20% code for them too which is "lovingasos" if anyone else can use it.
CC - I probably looked like I was 4 months gone before I even got pregnant but definitely piling more on now!
