Well I woke up sneezing and snuffling, so annoying. I don't think it's a cold, I think it's just a bit of rhinitis as I feel well otherwise. I decided to get up in the end so C could sleep at bit longer, good wife that I am!
I'm off work on Friday so only today and tomorrow to get through.

See imp you spoke too soon yesterday haha
Afm I have been signed off work for a week to catch up on sleep, this in turn should help me hands, so hopefully I will start to feel better now xx

I was thinking that Monnie. All the way through first tri I was awake at 5am, I thought I'd finally broken the cycle and cracked it. Clearly not. Feeling very sorry for myself today and got a red nose to boot.
Take it nice and easy on your week off, the rest will do you good.

Morning all - the thread is very quiet today, where is everyone?
Imp, sorry you're feeling coldy and tired, pregnancy sucks at times. Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight, and feel generally better soon.
Monnie, I'm glad you've been signed off, it sounds like you really needed it. Hopefully you'll be able to catch up on loads of sleep!
AFM, pretty rotten morning today. I didn't get to bed till late as I was up till gone 11pm building a new bed, then J was up early again, and in a rubbish mood. I wound up having to hold him down and physically force clothes on him while he screamed, physically restrain him into his carseat, he wailed for daddty all the way to nursery, then when we got there he decided mummy cuddles were required after all so when I handed him over to his keyworker he wailed and made me feel like poo. I then cried and felt both guilty and a bit ridiculous for crying at the same time. I still feel really down, and liable to burst into tears any moment - stupid hormones! Sorry for the negative, on the plus side I'm starting pregnancy yoga tonight. It's the same class I did when pregnant with J and I enjoyed it, it's a nice chance to connect with Attila -she doesn't get much attention at the moment so a couple of hours focusing on her and me will be very nice.

Imp, sorry you're sniffly!
Monnie, glad to hear you've been given a doctor-mandated rest!
AFM, nothing really. I got a shirty email from the trainee solicitor on our case this morning. I now want to move just so I can see the back of these solicitors! And to get up baby's nursery, of course...

Imp - I sympathise with the sniffles, had them a couple of weeks and trying to decide if a cold is on the way or not!
Monnie - I'm glad you are being forced to rest too!
SG - that does sound like a particularly rotten morning! Pregnancy yoga sounds pretty good, I used to do normal yoga before I was pregnant and really enjoyed it but now I can feel I haven't been doing anything, in fact my movement level is pretty much that of a sloth (although I did paint the bedroom the other day).
Wispa - I bet you're fed up with it, I hated dealing with the solicitors when we bought our house they seemed to hold everything up
AFM - had 20 week scan on Monday and all was well and I managed to resist finding out the sex! I'm off work tomorrow and Friday because its my birthday tomorrow and I am going to laze around the house doing nothing until the evening when I have to get ready to go out for a meal :)
Hello to everyone else!

Imp, sorry you had such an early start. Only a day and half of work to get through now though!
Monnie, fingers crossed that you manage to get some sleep and that it makes you feel better soon.
SG, sorry you've had such a rotten morning. Yoga sounds nice this evening though. Hope the rest of your day is going well.
Wispa, I hate solicitors. And estate agents. You have my sympathies.
VT, well done for resisting and not finding out the sex! I'm glad all is well. Happy Birthday for tomorrow!
AFM, 17 weeks today! Anyone else getting nosebleeds? I get them nearly every day, normally first then when I wake up. They're really quick and have normally finished almost as quickly as they start, just wondered if I'm alone with this delightful symptom?
22/01/2014 at 12:57
SG- what a night/morning you've had- I hope the day has improved for you? Enjoy pregnancy yoga, I think if everything is ok at my scan next week I might start it soon.
Wispa- solicitors are a nightmare, I'm sure they're the reason house sales/purchases take so long.
VT- Happy birthday for tomorrow, are you going somewhere nice tomorrow night?
22/01/2014 at 12:59
Fig- Happy 17 weeks! I can't help on the nose bleeds, sorry. In fact I have the opposite problem, nothing is moving in my nose!
22/01/2014 at 13:16
Just six of us going to Cafe Rouge, nothing fancy but will be a nice evening :)
22/01/2014 at 13:19
Cafe rouge sounds good, hope you have a lovely time.

Helloooo all :) How're you all doing?
imp - so sorry to hear you are suffering, its pants isn't it. I've got over my bout of cold, still a bit congestion though. I hope you feel better as the day progresses. Have you got anything planned for your day of on Friday?
monnie - fab news you've been signed off (in the nicest possible way of course haha) at least you can get some well deserved rest, I hope it does you the world of good
SG - poor you, not a good start to the day, I hope it improves! I hope you get a nice break and have a relaxing time at yoga
wispa - bloomin solicitors, they are a pain in the rear! I don't envy you all that, we moved house a year and half ago and it was just constant with emails and phone calls grrr! I really hope you get some good news soon and get that gorgeous nursery set up and of course we want flashes :)
VT - sounds like you have a lovely birthday planned and I hope you have a great time, happy your scan was all good too. It's my birthday in a couple of weeks too and so far just booked the day off as its a Friday. I said to H we could go out and check out baby stuff and have a nice lunch somewhere :)
Fig - happy 17wks! Nope I don't have nose bleeds, that doesn't sound nice. I just get the horrid taste in my mouth.
I had a good day yesterday then later on in the evening had a bit of spotting (nothing to worry about) and my tummy felt really soft and squidgy :( Today I feel sick and tummy is still playing up with odd movements and feels like it's going to drop out, when does it harden? xx
22/01/2014 at 15:07
I missed you earlier, SG! Sorry your hormones have been going bonkers. Enjoy the antenatal yoga, I enjoyed my class last Saturday loads!
VT, I can't believe you resisted find out and stuck with a surprise!
Fig, my sister has gotten loads of nose bleeds in pregnancy. Annoying more than anything she said.
LL, glad to hear yesterday was a good day, but as for the squidgy tummy you're not alone. Sometimes I can feel like the bottom of my bump is harder, but right now it just feels squidgy, too. Probably has something to do with the extra layers of fat (on me, anyways!).
I know it's OT completely, but I have to jump for joy a bit and say that after a couple phone calls and emails we have just sorted out the remaining issues with our purchase!! Yay! Of the two indemnity policies our solicitors were asking the vendors to purchase they have finally agree to pay for one and we have bitten the bullet and will pay for the other just to get this thing over with. Hopefully we'll have a date set for completion by the end of the week. Thank the goddamn lord.

Evening all. I'm probably too late but I'm checking in anyway.
Imp - hope you're feeling better now and get some more sleep tonight.
Monnie - hope you're taking it easy.
Spikey - sorry you had such a rubbish morning. Hope your days has been better and you've enjoyed your yoga class tonight.
Wispa - that's brilliant you got everything sorted today!!!
VT - glad your scan went well. Happy birthday for tomorrow xx
Fig - happy 17 weeks. I haven't had nose bleeds but they don't sound v pleasant.
LL - glad you're ok and the bleeding has settled although not gone completely. I've got a squidgy tummy too and I'm also womdering when it will go hard so sorry I can't help with that one!!
AFM - I've been feeling flutters and strange things going on since Friday which I'm presuming is the baby but I'm not 100% sure. I finally got my scan date in today and it's 4 weeks today. Seems like an eternity away right now. Boooooooooo. Apart from that everything else is good. Had my 16 week midwife appointment tonight and nothing exciting to report so that's good.
