Good luck to Mrs Mack today, hope baby is more co-operative today, everything is fine and you get to find out which team you're in.
Thanks for the anti-tantrum vibe. Yesterday, they worked! He wasn't the most complient kid there but at least we got in the pool on time!
Off to work now, bumped into that nursery mum on the way to the station, but with a bit of good fortune managed to lose her when I had to buy a ticket and she didn't! I'm so evil, but I neeeed these train journeys on my own!
Little bob seems fine, having a quiet morning but I'm getting used to the pattern of 2-3 quiet days a week now so not too worried. Although now I've said it I'lnene waiting for a kick...

Morning BG. Glad you managed to escape the nursery mum. You're not evil I would be the same especially at this time in the morning. I'd just like to sit quietly. Glad swimming was ok
AFM. We had a great time in the woods looking for fairies yesterday. Quiet morning this morning then visiting a friend this afternoon. On the countdown to scan now it's a week Friday. Can't believe how quickly the time has gone. Bit concerned I've felt no movement but not a lot I can do just hope baby B is ok in there. Hi to all that follow xx

Glad you escaped the nursery mum BG! I'd be the same, sometimes some peace and quiet is all that's needed!
MrsB, the fairy woods sounds lovely! I was thinking about movement (or lack of) yesterday - I'm a couple of weeks ahead of you and haven't felt much at all, but am assured it's nothing to worry about. I'm sure you'll have a lovely scan and feel much better for it!
AFM, I feel exhausted! I had 4 days annual leave last week (as well as bank hol) so should feel rested but instead, simply getting out of bed has been a nightmare. I could fall asleep right now, and yesterday I kept nearly falling asleep at work! I guess it's the growth spurt starting but I didn't expect it to wipe me out this much. Long week at work as well because we have an event on Saturday so it's a 6 day week. I'm getting TOIL though so shall probably take off Monday morning so I can have a gentler start to next week!
Good luck with today's scan Mrs Mack!

Oh, and OMG - a cantaloupe?!!
05/06/2013 at 08:07
BG - glad you managed a quiet train journey!
Mrs B - have a lovely afternoon
Mrs 50s - hope work isn't too bad and the tiredness doesn't wipe you out completely.
AFM - got another scan tomorrow morning so looking forward to that. Otherwise nothing to report at the moment, all ok here!

BG- Glad you had no tantrums and you're not evil! Tell the nursery mum to bugger off and leave you in peace haha.
MrsB- Fairy woods sound great! Glad you had a lovely day. I haven't felt much movement too and im 19 weeks today but I keep getting told not to be concerned.
Mrs50s- That is the exact reason why I'm not having a ticker. How are you going to feel when it gets to a watermelon!?! haha Definitely take the Monday off and have a short week next week. Hope staying awake at your desk today isn't too much of a struggle!
Rhian- Good luck with your scan tomorrow :)
AFM- SCAN DAY!! eeeeekkkk! Appointment is at 12.10 so I am leaving work at about 11.30. Can't wait to see little one again and know that he/she is safe and doing well in there.
BG glad things went ok at swimming. Hopefully the train lady will start to get the hint soon!
MrsB I've felt very little movement too, very different to last time
Mrs50s hope you manage to have an easy day and not fall asleep!
Rhian good luck with the scan. Do you have to be scanned more often when you're having twins?
AFM went shopping yesterday to try to find a 30th birthday present for my friend and came home with nothing . It's this weekend and I have no idea what to get.
I text my mum after our scan on Monday to tell her the sex ( she'd not wanted to know) and I called her yesterday. She was mad at me and said I should have respected her wishes that she didn't want to know. I told her its my child and she should respect MY wishes that I want to share it with everyone and i dont want To put a dampener on telling people by telling them they have to keep it a secret from her, its not her decision to make. God I was so mad! Nothing unusual for her to be like that though. Sorry rant over!
Hope everyone has a lovely day

Sam sorry missed you there. Good luck with the scan, keep us updated x
05/06/2013 at 08:49
No boss in today so I can MD like a mad woman!
BG - I am not one for chatting in the morning either. Doesn't make you evil at all. Public transport is for sitting and thinking and waking up a bit.
Mrs B - My scan is also a week Friday. What time is yours at? I am 8.30am as I couldn't come into work and wait around.
Mrs 50s - The growth spurts really take it out of you. Does a canteloupe seem really big to you? I struggle with the fruit comparisons as I don't buy or eat the stuff.
Rhian - Nothing to report is good! x
Edited for Sam and JT -
Sam - Good luck!!!
JT - Surely she would have heard off someone though?!?! Very silly!
AFM - Gave in this morning and tried on my maternity work trousers. So comfy!!!!!! very soft. First day I actually feel very pregnant. Bump os really sticking out this morning. Was getting worried as not felt anything since yesterday afternoon but just felt a little kick now!
05/06/2013 at 08:51
Sam- exciting day for you. Good luck with scan would love to see a picture afterwards, i cant remember if you said you would find out the sex? x
ETA LP mine is at 12. Both me and H have the whole day off. I work in a school and they never question time off for maternity related things so I said I needed the whole day and my H has taken holiday. Both of us far too nervous/ excited to go to work that day.
05/06/2013 at 08:57
JT- Yey for no boss! Your mum was bound to find out anyway and her reaction does sound a bit over the top. My mum is completely the opposite! She did ask yesterday if I could text her WHILST I'm being scanned as she can't wait to find out! haha
LP- You have only just started wearing maternity trousers!? I have been living in jersey skirts , dresses and leggings for well over a month. Comfort is definitely key for me!
MrsB- Yep, we are hoping to find out the sex if the little rascal behaves! I will post a picture as soon as I get back to work :)
05/06/2013 at 08:58
Best of luck Sam, hope to see an update this afternoon!
05/06/2013 at 10:05
Sam! Glad you are finding out! Looking forward to hearing what team you are on!!!
Yes - Worn the odd mat top but still ok in normal clothes. Given up now though. Embracing the elastic!!!!!!
05/06/2013 at 10:16
BG - well done on dodging the nursery Mum, I would have done the same. Nice to hear that the MD 2nd tri vibes worked for yesterday's swim.
MrsB - fairy woods sounds so cool. Have fun with your friend this afternoon.
Mrs50s - ah sorry you're feeling so tired, hopefully it's only for a few days and your long weekend will see you rested for next week. I also remember getting to cantaloupe stage a couple of weeks ago, downside of that ticker!
rhian - glad all is well, hope scan goes ok tomorrow.
Sam - good luck for today, look forward to seeing your update.
JT - oh shame your Mum got upset with you, would have been quite hard for other people not to let it slip if they knew though.
LP - ah maternity clothes are soooooo comfy, I don't know what I did without them!
AFM - last day at work for this week today, yay! It's H's 30th tomorrow so we've got a lot planned for the next four days - swanky hotel and dinner in London tomorrow night, party with family on Friday, dinner with friends on Saturday and then afternoon tea in London with his parents on Sunday. I'll be pooped come Monday! It's nice to be doing it though, I feel really aware that these are our last few months where it's truly the two of us and I want to make the most of it (sorry fluff before midday bleurgh!)
05/06/2013 at 10:28
Popcorn- Sounds like you have a lovely 4 days planned! Hope your H has a lovely birthday. I feel exactly the same about making the most of 'us' time now so will excuse the morning fluff! :)
05/06/2013 at 11:53
Mrs B - Don't blame you for taking the day off. :-)
05/06/2013 at 12:09
BG - Have I missed an annoying nursery mum thread? Haha just think its going quiet and then all hell breaks loose and you end up kicked everywhere? Know the feeling.
MB - Cant wait to see/hear about your scan Im sure baby is fine :)
Mrs50's - sorry to hear you are feeling so tired, lots of energy vibes!
Rhian - hope the scan goes well tomorrow :)
Sam - Cant wait to hear about your scan :)
JT - oh dear :( hope you are ok and of course rant away, you're completely right if you are telling people you cant expect them all to remember she didnt want to know
LP - I still havent got my maternity clothes for work yet Im very jealous, its very uncomfortable in my uniform atm :(
PC - Happy birthday to you H for tomorrow, it sounds lovely! not bleurrgh at all lol
AFM - well Ive got two more shifts this week and then Im off for a whole week anual leave. Can't wait, time to just sit and relax! Bump feels very big to me but people keep commenting that I am carrying quite small for 26 weeks. I guess Im all baby (yey). Certainly don't feel it tho. Baby is getting much bigger now, We can see my tummy moving when she does, I didnt think that happened until much later. Still havent had my essay results which sucks, I know I've failed I just want to know how badly lol. Hi to all who follow x
05/06/2013 at 14:19
We're back from the scan! It was amazing to see baby and know SHE is okay in there! We saw her sucking her thumb and my little cheeks going. Was lovely!! My mum and sister are over the moon as I have 2 nephews so they can't wait to buy pretty little girl clothes :)
05/06/2013 at 14:25
LP- once you start wearing the maternity stuff you will never want to go back. All clothes should be made with extra stretchy panels at the front!
Sam- that's so funny that she wants you to text her during your scan. Hope it has gone well
PC- sounds like you have a fab few days planned. Definitely embrace your alone time. I think we went to the cinema more time while I was pregnant than we have in the last five years as I knew we wouldn't get much chance after!
Luna- enjoy your time off. Fingers crossed your exam results are not as bad as you think
05/06/2013 at 14:26
