Morning all, sorry I didn't get online yesterday. Hope everyone is well?
Can't wait for this weather to cool down a bit, our office gets really hot and it's making me feel horrible :-( wish I could give up work now!
Just read yesterday's thread, Weemee - I had to go back for a second scan cos baby was hiding, try not to worry about it and just be glad that you get to go and see baby again :-)

Morning BE, sorry you're not enjoying the weather, I'm sure it'll be gone soon enough!
I'm still worrying about everything. Aches and pains, my bump not being big enough, and not feeling any movement. I'm stupid, I need to just relax but instead I'm driving myself mad with worry!
17/07/2013 at 07:55
It's lovely to have sun but it's a nightmare at work and finding suitable clothes!
You do need to relax, I didn't feel movement until nearly 19 weeks. Some days I feel loads and others just a couple. Every pregnancy is different :-)
17/07/2013 at 07:56
I know you're right, I keep reminding myself it's too early yet. I just want the next 3 weeks to hurry up!
17/07/2013 at 08:05
BE- do you have a fan at your desk? May be worth asking for one if not. Make sure your drinking plenty of water etc.
Imp- don't worry about nit feeling movements yet, the more stressed you are the less likely you are to feel any. I didn't feel until 19/20 weeks.
AFM- midwife this morning, im taking a list of questions to ask her. Feels like ive not had a midwife appointment for ages! Then I'll mainly be doing some housework. Got some bargains from the shops yesterday. Managed to find a dress for an upcoming wedding, only a fiver! Moses basket came and it looks lovely. :-)

Morning, BE I'm loving the weather too but it's so hot and my office is a stuffy mess!
Imp I hope your ok lovey, I thought after the 12 week scan I'd feel so much more relaxed...wrong!
AFM booked our scan on sat so hopefully that will help chill me out a bit. Penny I saw your post last night, firstly well done on personals! When we went for our private scan they had a summer offer and we only paid like an extra £20 or something and got 3 scans in a deal so I'm going for one now, then will have our 20 week scan then planning on another at maybe 28 weeks or so. The place is great and they'll give us 3D images from our 3rd scan.
Not much from me, I was sick this morning! I'd had a glass of Orange Juice and some strawberries when I got up so you can imagine that bright orange delight when it came back up! It was just after I brushed my teeth and was wretching. Great start to the day!x

Sorry MS missed you! Forgot you asked y'day too, it's sometimes called a heart shaped uterus and means it has a 'dip' in its which kind of gives you too sides to your uterus. You get different levels of severity, some women literally have two completely seperate sides. Mine isn't that bad and is just dipped down a bit but it means there's less space. I have my first app with the consultant after my 20 week scan, well mine is at 19 weeks. Depending how the baby is lying and grows is can actually sort of push it up a bit and have enough space but otherwise there's an associated risk of early labour as it might just run out of room and also higher chance of a section as once the baby is bigger its more difficult for it to turn so might end up breech.
Glad the Moses basket is nice, what's the dress like? That really is a bargain!x

BE - I bet you are feeling rotten, I love being in work with our wicked air con but I used to work somewhere that had none and my best mate is 11 weeks and works in an office like a furnace. I feel for you :-(
Imp - Try not to worry, It's quite a boring bit you are in, no movement, not alot of bump growth, waiting for the scan. It will all happen I promise. Just you wait :-)
mummy simpson - Oh what dress did you get? Glad the moses basket is sorted x
Miss Dee dee - Good luck with the scan. Hope you made it to a sink or toilet with that delightful sick! Sounds pretty!
AFM - It D Day for my bridesmaid dress, final fitting tonight to see if it goes over the bump! Dreading it! Saw my god daughter last night, she is so cute with my bump, singing to it, talking to to it, asking questions. I love her! Sad thing is her family are moving to Australia in 9 weeks :-( Devastated is not the word :-( Will enjoy the time we have for now though x

Ms well done on your bargain dress, you'll have to flash us!
MDD, I've been meaning to tell you. One if my best friends has a heart shaker uterus, it was only discovered when she has a c section for her little boy. He was breech, and she went into labour 3 weeks early. He's a beautiful healthy little boy and I know that now they'll monitor her more closely in future pregnancies.

Missed you lp, I hope the dress fits! You'll have to flash us too!
17/07/2013 at 08:26
LP good luck with the dress!! I hope it fits on (remember a pic!!)
Thanks for that Imp, I've read loads of positive stories online of women going full term, the babies turning last gasp and delivering naturally so there's still a chance! We'll see how things are going at the anomaly scan, it might make all the space it needs!x
17/07/2013 at 08:34
You guys get earlier and earlier! I'm loving the weather any time I feel like its too hot I remind myself of the 8 month winter we've just had! lol
17/07/2013 at 08:51
I just wrote the biggest reply and it got lost! Argh.
Haven't time to write it all again so just a big hello to everyone and hope you are all keeping well!
17/07/2013 at 09:04
BE - I 2nd asking for a fan at your desk
Imp - I had bearly any 'bump' at 16odd weeks first time around. This time its huge, and I don't have shy maternity shorts/short leggings (refuse to buy any asI hate shorts, plus i Im sure this weather isn't going to continue ... count your blessings :-)
MS - good luck at midwife
MDD - can't believe your still being sick, rubbish :-(
LP - sad that your god daughter & family moving so far away. There is always Skype..... And visits :-)
RL - glad someone is enjoying the weather, personally I'm fed up with it, don't really like heat, bring on the winter!
AFM - 17weeks today. Still can't get ticker to 'save'. Fed up with heat! Feeling some definite kicks from bubs now which is lovely :-). Very busy as usual. Got a shiny brand partition for my trailer (paid for by my friend who's horse broke it!) So just gotta get old broken partition out now and drop new one onto hinges. Hurrah. Couldnt possibly do it my condition. (Cough) so will con H it doing it at weekend :-). Another Endurance ride the following weekend, thinking it might have to be last and then ill have to just ride around local village/bridleways
17/07/2013 at 09:40
BE, I'm on countdown to giving up work too, but calculated I still have 140 ish working days left!
Imp, I think the 12 week stop worrying marker is a myth. Your scan will be here before you know it x
MS, hope all goes well at the midwife today,
MissDeeDee, that's not a nice start to the day, but it means it can only get better!
LP, enjoy the dress fitting. How cute is your god daughter!
Rosylee, I'm loving this weather too, just not at night time!
Sam, hello from me, hope you are feeling well
HF, yeay for baby kicks, I can't wait for them. I don't blame you using your condition as an excuse, it's one of the perks.
Afm, I had my first foray into pram world yesterday, I'm now more confused! Hopefully we have narrowed it down to 2 but they are both quite hard to find around me to have a play.

I will not be flashing a bit! The dress is BRIGHT pink. and there are sequins. God help me.
17/07/2013 at 09:43
Morning ladies, its busy in here today!
BE hope things cool down in your office for you.
IMP the part waiting for movements to start is frustrating, once you can feel proper kicks it is much more reassuring. Hopefully it won't be much longer
MS a dress for a fiver is brilliant, do we get to see a pic?
MDD hope the sickness was just a one off, I really feel for people with morning sickness in this heat. My friend from toddler group is 8 weeks and struggling with it at the moment. Makes me glad I'm past that part now! Try not to worry too much about ending up with a CS. The recovery obviously isn't ideal but its really not too bad and I'm assuming it would be planned rather than emergency so you could prepare for it
LP I hope the dress fits. Is it a cool floaty type rather than a fitted ? one as you'll be roasting in it all day otherwise. You will have to show us a pic
RL I agree with you. I'm struggling with the heat but don't want it to stop as last summer was so terrible
Sam I hate when that happens. Hope you are well
HF nice that you're getting proper kicks now. Your pregnancy seems to be going so fast I'm sure your bfp was only a month ago, can't believe you're 17 weeks- you'll be on the third tri before me at this rate!
AFM - took the double out with W for a test drive yesterday. Wasn't too bad at all so I think I'm going to be fine with it. It's harder and heavier to get up kerbs but I'll just have to get used to that. Not loving the forward facing though, I miss seeing her face as we walk- also means I can't see what she's up to so spent ten mins retracing my steps in asda looking for a shoe and a hat that she'd took off and dropped without me realising.
17/07/2013 at 09:46
Sorry mrsP missed you there. I live pram shopping. The more you shop the less confusing it gets. Which ones have you narrowed it down to?
LP you have to do a flash now- I have images of a 1980's puffball sleeved number!
17/07/2013 at 09:52
LP- I definitely think we need a flash of the dress! Pregnant, pink and sequins.. sounds like a winner! hahaha I'm sure it will look fine! I did reply in my lost message that I told step daughter over the weekend that baby could hear her now. She put her mouth to my belly button and shouted "HHHEEEELLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!". Sure baby had a right fright!
17/07/2013 at 09:55
Did someone say pink with sequins???? The mind boggles.... Think you best show a picture our imaginations are clearly far worse than the reality surely!
