Morning all, sorry not to get back to the threads over the last two days - I did read them but didn't get the chance to reply after two busy days.
Off today though, so taking Jacob to his swimming lesson after the school run then a chilled day of pottering around doing housework and not a lot else! Weather is miserable so think an afternoon of tv and snacks after school could be in order. Need to plan some stuff for the weekend as H is away for the whole time, will be very weather dependent.
Hope everyone else is well, I will try to get back after swimming and catch up properly with what's happening.

Margot- enjoy your day off. Hope the weather gets better for you.
AFM weather is terrible here too. Was planning on taking W swimming but not sure I'm keen on a 30 min walk in the rain so will see what it's like after lunch.
Not much to report with baby. Two weeks tomorrow until scan so counting down to that.

Brrrr, it's freezing in London today!
Margot- your afternoon sounds quite enjoyable!
JT- scan in 2 weeks. How exciting!! Are you finding out the flavour?
AFM- I'm cold waiting for the train but doing ok. My tummy is growling and I'm starving, what should I get for breakfast today? (How naughty!) baby is getting more and more active everyday and I felt a kick on the outside this morning. It made me smile :)
Have a good day everyone?

Margot - I would get planning some indoor stuff, the weather is apparently going to be terrible everywhere!
Jellytot - You might need wellies (or maybe armbands) for that walk if it is like it is here!
Poppyseeds - I was starving yesterday, so far I have been eating fairly normally. What are the breakfast options then?
AFM - My father in law has lent me a car for the next few days so I don't walk to work in the rain. Bless him! Good job too, my feet were soaking after walking home yesterday. It is May isn't it?!?!?! Also think a bump may be forming. I looked pregnant for the first time yesterday and a collegue commented this morning that it looked very bump like! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Margot - weather is miserable here too, rubbish. Enjoy your day of pottering :)
JT - not long til scan now, hope the weather clears up a bit for you.
PS - I've been trying to get a bit healthier with breakfasts recently - my current favourite is strawberries with plain yoghurt topped with granola, does that give you any inspiration? Lovely to feel kicks on the outside though, I'm getting impatient waiting for that.
LP - Ah so sweet of your FIL ;) Congrats on the formation of your bump, mine started to pop at around 16ish weeks too. I think baby has a growth spurt around 16-18 weeks so it should carry on getting bigger!
AFM - cold miserable day here too and came in to work to find out that we'd had a crisis with our IT systems overnight. Very boring but means a stressful day for me. I tend to get an achy bump when I'm stressed and running around so not looking forward to the remainder of the day now. Boo!

PC - Your breakfast does give me inspiration but i could only really do that on the weekends when i have time! I was in a hurry to get to work and the damn train was delayed so i quickly went into Pret and got a hot chocolate and almond croissant (i know that is sooooooooooooooooooo naughty, but so so so so so so yuummy!!!)
LP - how sweet of your FIL, my FIL does that for me too. When I pick up L he sometimes wont let me walk home and drives me, its nice isnt it. and Congratulations on the bump! x

Margot-hope you have a restful day, hope you find some good weekend plans, its so miserable not being able to rely on the weather
JT-2 weeks will fly by very exciting, hope the rain stops so you can go out
Poppyseeds-what did you get for breakfast? I love feeling kicks from outside
LP-gladyour going to stay dry for the next few days. I found my bump changed shape at your stage so people noticed it more
Popcorn- try and take it easy today, you don't want your bump to suffer later
AFM 25 weeks today, really need to start buying things! Hope everyone has a good day

Miserable weather here today too!
Margot- definitely a day for indoor activities and probably the same for the weekend too! :(
JT- Hope the weather at least stops raining so that you can go swimming later this afternoon.
Poppy- Hope you decided on breakfast and it was scrummy! What did you end up deciding? I can't wait to start to feel baby move/ kick, must be lovely.
LP- Yey to having a car! I used to get the train to/ from work with a 20 minute walk each way but after we had all the awful weather over the past month or 2 H has started dropping me off and picking me up as he 'doesn't want me walking in my condition' haha. He's such a softy! I don't think he understands pregnancy (especially at 16 weeks!) doesn't affect the use of your legs! Can't complain though as I hate walking in the cold and rain.
Popcorn- Oh no, hope you manage to get the IT systems sorted ASAP. Hope it goes quickly and you can go home to relax!
AFM- Absolutely nothing to report. 16 weeks today, 3 weeks until scan, that's about it! Have a lovely day all.

PS - hot chocolate and almond croissant sounds amazing, wish there was a Pret near me now!
Noodle - have you got much already? We've hardly got anything but I think time is going to start going quickly soon so need to get on the ball!
Sam - glad you are having an uneventful time of it, hope the next three weeks start to go quickly for you.

15/05/2013 at 10:14
Duckford- nightmares are rubbish! Is this something you have always suffered with?
I did have a strange dream last night. Baby was here (it was a boy!) and there was a compartment in the car where the CD player etc is for baby to go in a jumper type thing. H kept lowering him down into the little gap and then boing-ing him back up again and he was giggling. Was so strange!
