Morning all, hope we are all well this morning.
Work done for the week for me, but two utterly draining days have left me feeling very tired and achey as we spent two afternoons tidying and rearranging the school library which was hard work, but worth it. Have got some work to do tonight but that can wait till the boys are in bed.
Off to take Joshua to school in a bit then Jacob and I are going swimming then to pick up a few bits at Asda on the way home. Rest of the day will be a lazy one, pottering around doing a few jobs at home but that's about all. Baby is well and very active, and I'll try to get my bump pic up on the bump thread later.
Have a good day all!

Morning Margot -
Hope you manage to chill out a bit today after your busy few days!
AFM - Baby is due exactly 3 months today, its the start of my 27th week today! I think this will be my last week in 2nd tri.
Have a good day all

Margot- hope you get some rest today. Enjoy swimmimg!
TT - 3 months! Wow! I'm nearly there too, its going too bloomin fast for my liking!
AFM - quite movement day again yesterday, but I think as long as I feel a few kicks through the day I'm not gonna worry, easier said than done though. Kiddicare suggested we go to Halfords to get the isofix checked, do they do that even if you didnt buy it there? A bit peeved really as they have been super good with other stuff up to now. H is doing my swede in with all the DIY, I know its for our benefit, but some time together would be nice before we become 3!

Margot - make sure you try and take todaya bit easier.
tt - have fun in 3rd tri - not long now :)
porkchop - ahh at least you are getting all the diy done. maybe suggest a nice dinner and dvd night
afm - im feeling fine. just rung midwife about nuchal bloods as been 3 weeks and still not heard. wasnt my midwife so i'm waiting for her to call back but no news is good news. baby seems ok. im getting bigger. not long til scan to see if everythings ok :)

Think there’s two threads this morning!!! So will reply on here but to all posts!
Morning Bunny, saw your post last night about telling the children. How did you answer the question about men being involved?! I would have been so embarrassed!
BG, Phew sounds like a busy but productive day off yesterday! That’s lovely about the dream, I hope it makes you feel more reassured.
Margot, Looking forward to seeing a bump pic. I keep forgetting to do mine as no full length mirror at my new office. Have a nice day!
TT, Ooh yes, nearly at the end of 2nd tri! How exciting!
PC, How annoying about Kiddicare. Worth a try with Halfords although does seem odd that they would send you there – sort of admitting their own service isn’t as good? Will be nice when DIY is out of the way. Can you organise a day trip somewhere to force him to have a break?
AFM – Was decorating a cake all evening and don’t think standing up in the kitchen has done me any good. Woke up this morning all seized up so have been walking like Quasimodo! Horrible dreams last night about having lots of bleeding – still getting brown spotting every week so think it’s just a worry at the back of my mind. Looking forward to the weekend already!

Sorry twink, missed you whilst typing. Hope you get a call back soon. I'm sure if it wasn't good news you'd know about it by now. I know how worrying it is though.
17/04/2013 at 09:03
Oi! bunny was an early bird and already started this thread, let me see if I can find it...
17/04/2013 at 09:04
PW - blimey are you still getting spotting? What does the MW say about it? We're off on holiday next sunday for a week so I'm trying to hold my tongue for now, he cant do DIY from 200 miles from home can he???!!
17/04/2013 at 09:08
Morning all. On my phone just now, will come back later on laptop for personals.
Nothing much happening here. Got a decent nights sleep for once. Going to go to the docs tomorrow to get a sick line for a couple weeks cos I can't face work with my sore back and the exhaustion. Thinking it might be worth getting my iron levels checked. If I get signed off I'll only have to go back for 2 shifts before my holiday then I think I have 5 left when I come back :-)
Jelly baby - I know youve not posted yet but just talking of holidays, are you still going to manage to get away on yours?
17/04/2013 at 09:20
margot - enjoy swimming, i must start doing that soon i'm feeling incredibly unfit!
twinkletoes - three months today - wow not long!
PC - I love how matching our lives are at the moment, i'm also sick of the DIY. It's just not my priority anymore and i don't think it should be hubs. The only room im interested in getting lovely is the baby's, and i can't yet because it's where he's storing all the diy gear and the furniture that belongs in the other rooms! I'm not sure about the isofix base - do you think they're worth the money? I think might have a go at putting the seat in the car with the belt and see how hard it is. I don't really want to have to buy two isofix bases (one for each car). But there's not much point in just getting one.
twink - i agree, no news is good news!
PW - now i want cake!! Being on your feet too long can be horrble, can you not do them sitting at a table?
BG - really? Can't face typing thing all again!
Ally - that's not many, what do you do?
AFM - got home to DIY hell last night, hubs and his parents were fiddling around in the dining room wall papering and hiding the horrible gas fire behind a radiator cover (removing it means removing the floor and i've said no for now). The baby's room is still full of junk and is driving me insane. By the time i can get my hands on it i'll be too huge to do anything.

Morning all yay scan tomorrow getting excited at seeing boris again. Especially the size difference. :-D

Also ill prob start of skirting boards and doos in the 2 bedroom. Oh we are also getting our house measured tonight for carpet quotes. As soon as the painting has finished carpets are in ill order nursery furniture :-D that bit im excited for :-D x
Anyhoo baby wise lots ot movement yesterday and none so fsr yet but its still early.
Looking forward to meeting twink on sat for coffee n cake :-D
Hi to all that follow x

PB - we both have moany, hyperchodriac, DIY nutters! At least I'm lucky in that our nursery is done. When he does the living room flooring after holiday I may move out for a couple days! I'm definately more comfortable with having an isofix, now its in you literally just push the car seat in, then click and lift it out, with a seatbelt I'd worry it wasnt done right or tight enough. We just need to get this little glitch sorted! They arent that expensive, think ours from £80 from Kiddicare, it is all about safety after all. I think we've just got a duff one unluckily, they'lll sort it if it is.
17/04/2013 at 10:01
The issue for me too, is that i'd have to put the baby in the back of my car as that's where the isofix attachments are, but i've only got a three door.
At the moment we've got works going on in the dining room, spare bedroom, baby's room and hubs wants to do our bedroom before the baby comes. I also want to move out!
17/04/2013 at 10:25
It must be a man thing, I guess they arent really involved in the pregnancy really, and all the practical stuff is at least one thing that they can do!
17/04/2013 at 10:36
Margot have a relaxing day today after your busy work days
Twinkle eek 3 months, it will be quiet on here when people start moving to 3rd tri in next couple of weeks
PC that's annoying about going to half odds although they're meant to be good. It's been 4 years since we bought our house and we still always have a DIY project going on! It never ends does it! Just think how worth it it will be when your on mat leave!
Twink sure no news is good news. Nearly scan time!
PW ouch! Some rest for you today too!
Ally really hope your feeling better soon
PB oh no another DIY nightmare. Same to you it will be worth it in the end
Boris we had new carpet out down in nursery yesterday, it's lovely, love the smell of fresh paint and new carpets!
Afm I'venow had over 3 weeks of no morning sickness, so think I've definately had my share of it. Feeling the best ive felt since bfp in december! Nursery all finished, just need to buy furniture but plenty of time or that. Had a nightmare midwife appointment yesterday. H and I were meant to do our garden today but weather is pants so think well have a trip to ikea instead
17/04/2013 at 10:45
Margot-hope you have a restful day, enjoy swimming
Twinkletoes-yay for 27 weeks, when does the 3rd tri start (not trying to get rid of you obviously)
PC-hope you get the carseat sorted, I heard halfords are good for safety checks
Twink- no news is always good news, when is your scan?
PW-hope you get some rest today, I have horrible dreams since being pregnant too its awful
Ally- hope you get signed off, then you can rest up before holiday
Pombear-sounds like your having a lot of DIY done, hope you get your hands on the nursery soon
Boris-good luck for tomorrow, are you finding out the sex?
AFM- 21 weeks today, all seems ok with baby. Just a chilled day today for me after a 13 hour horrific day at work yesterday!
17/04/2013 at 10:52
Sorry duckford missed you there, glad the nursery is decorated what colour did you go for?
17/04/2013 at 10:55
had my results...chances are 1 in 240000 :)
17/04/2013 at 11:29
Eek, you ladies have been busy on the thread this morning - my poor brain can't cope with the personals over two pages! Will try to do the few I remember.
Twink, yay for low risk.
Boris, how exciting to have your scan tomorrow!
Twinkletoes, when I had my last baby we moved to third tri at 27 weeks.
And to those with DIY obsessed husbands, I sympathise! I do think it's their way of nesting and preparing though, when I was pregnant with Jacob we were still in the middle of a self build extension so jobs nowadays pale into insignificance compared to that. H has still got a long list though!
Swimming was lovely, and now we're chilling with a cuppa and CBeebies before lunch. Not a lot else planned for the day other than sorting some washing and maybe some tidying - and looking through the Vertbaudet catalogue that came this morning with a nice discount code, I love their girls' stuff so might treat baby!
