Ve... Baby out vibes! I must enter the sweepstake! Get bouncing!
Afm... Feel like another cold coming.. My office breeds germs! Could so easily stay in bed today! All went well with mw yesterday... Measuring at 33 weeks rather than 35.. Not sure how much that has an impact.. Scan next Thursday tho so I'm sure ill know more about baby's size then!
Will pop back when I can x

Baby out vibes VE!! Our ante natal teacher recommended watching something funny to get things moving so dig out your favourite dvd!
BB I am sure baby is measuring ok but at least you have your scan to set your mind at rest. Hope your cold comes to nothing.
AFM I have mw today at 1 and i am really hoping baby has moved from back to back. I am spending the whole morning on my ball or hands and knees!! Have a few last bits to get later and need to get a wheel replaced on my car. Hoping i can just chill later!

Hep checking in on the overdue bench again! Had some pains again last night but they all stopped again after about an hour. MW at 3pm for my sweep although I don't believe this baby will be here this week if I'm honest. Taking N back to preschool this morning so am bracing myself for tears as usual, I am very glad I'm not in labour though as it makes going back easier for him.
Good luck with the sweep VE - did a sweep work with I? It didn't work when I was pregnant with N TBH but I'm hoping all these intermittent pains are making me more favourable so it *might* do something.
Bexy - Hope you feel better soon, baby may have jut been lying funny for the measurements if its a one off so fingers crossed all is ok.
MM - Hope all goes well at the MW!
I'll be back after the school run
17/04/2013 at 08:01
Maisie... Hope baby has turned for your appointment.. Have you tried walking up the stairs sideways?
17/04/2013 at 08:03
Hep... Missed you there! Hope your sweep has the desired effect today... I have you second in the sweep! Hope n gets on ok...
17/04/2013 at 08:05
BB - I hope you don't get a cold, offices are terrible for that, I have been so much less ill since being a SAHM. Measurement is not that far out, nice to have a scan to check.
MM - I makes me laugh so much but that hasn't worked, will try your advice. I hope baby has moved naughty little thing!!
Hep - same as you I don't think mine will be here this week, BW will overtake us both!!! I have been getting pains at night but they always go away by morning, so very annoying, I never had that with I. And no, the sweep and the pin lady didn't work with I!! I hope N is ok with minimal tears and yay for having some time to yourself!!

Morning everyone x
VE - hope today's sweep is successful and manages to evict that baby x
Bexy - boo tO another cold. I have really suffered this year as well
Mm - hope baby has moved for you
Hep - good luck for your sweep as well and for dropping N at pre school. A can't wait to get back today!
Afm, have I mentioned that I am soooo over being pregnant . I had a terrible day yesterday. Dropped both kids off then came home and went back to bed for 3 hours as I felt dreadful. Got up, pottered a bit feeling awful and thon produced some impressive exorcist style projectile vomit . H was out at football last night so I dragged myself through the evening and was back in bed just after the kids.
sorry I am such a whinger but I have just had enough now.
On a brighter note I feel a bit better today and the sun in due out this afternoon! Oh and I'm 34 weeks today.

VE - lots of baby out vibes heading your way, hope you enjoy your last day as a family of three!!
bexy - glad it went well with the midwife - I am convinced that the MW measurements are a bit hit and miss, but at least you have the scan to put your mind at rest
MM - sending lots of "turn baby turn" vibes your way. Hope you get your bits sorted and get some time to chill out!
Hep - baby out vibes for you too, hope the sweep does the trick. Hope pre school is not too tearful for you.
Morph - hope you are feeling better today - pregnancy is so glamorous eh!!
AFM - last day working from home and then just one day in London tomorrow and then I done until November - whoop whoop!! NCT breastfeeding session tonight - a lot probably won't be relevant for me as baby is unlikely to be able to breastfeed if the palate is affected by the cleft - but we won't know until baby arrives!! I am hoping to pick up some tips that will help me express and bottle feed though.
Hope you all have a good day - looking forward to seeing some BA's very soon

VE- good luck for the molestation! Sounds like you had a nice day yesterday. What is with these April babies?!
BB- I shouldn't worry about that measurement. 2 weeks out isn't huge and I expect the actual baby will measure fine at your scan. I've had one cold after another this time too!
MM- no tips to get baby turned but hope it does!
Hep- hope N isn't too upset at nursery this morning. Good luck for your sweep too! Sounds promising if you've had some pains.
Morph- you poor thing. Try and rest up a bit today or enjoy the sunshine. Send a bit up here as ours has gone!
AFM- scan was fine. Baby following same centile (97th) and growth pattern so estimated to be about 7lb12 at 36 weeks. Induction booked for 40+1 if nothing's happened before then. Regardless of whether I'm induced or not I need to be monitored from the start f labour. I look at it that at least I won't have the 'shall I go in yet' thing. Seems very real now.
Scary thought that at the end of this week when the 3 sweep stakers deliver I'll be far up the table! Eek! Popping to office today but nothing to taxing. Woke up in agony in the night. Might've just been wind!
Have a good day and babies out!

Moprph...poor you..you really have suffered hun..yay to 34 weeks tho!
Al....the end is in site!! hope the breastfeeding sesh goes well..i found the workshop i did really useful...
17/04/2013 at 08:32
Al- woo hoo to last 2 days! Hope tomorrow isn't too taxing. Also hope the bf workshop gives you some expressing tips too.
17/04/2013 at 08:33
Wh..missed you there!! glad the scan went well..it is all very real now hey.....hope you have a nice easy day in the office...
17/04/2013 at 08:58
Ah Hep you poor thing. Not long now though! Hope pre school goes ok.
BB i had heard of the sideways walking trick but i am bit scared of trying with my SPD. That might be one for next week if i need to!!
Not long to go now Morph! Puking is just rubbish xx
Al at least you dont have to struggle to London today! Its going to be a nightmare where we are. Poor H is there today. Yay to one more London day!! Hope you get some advice or tips from the class.
WH glad your scan went well and you have a plan in place. I am already thinking about the whole "shall i go in" thing. I want to stay at home as long as poss but dont want to leave it too late! It was ok with G as i had a routine mw appt after 3 days of on/off contractions and she told me to go in as i was 5cm!! I guess i will know when the time comes! I was thinking yesterday once Hep, BW and VE evict their bumps i think i am 4th on the leaderboard! Eeeek!
17/04/2013 at 09:42
Busy thread this morning so will pop back at lunch time for personals!
Baby out vibes to all in need, better join the 'sweep' stake with my guesses before its too late!
All ok here, off to playgroup with my two littlest mindees which is always hard work with a bump but they love it! Also I now have Friday off work so tomorrow will be my last day and I can't wait!!!
Hope everyone's good and I'll be back in a bit!
17/04/2013 at 09:46
VE - loads of baby out vibes for you! Hope that your prediction for tomorrow is right!
Bexy - Hope that the cold stays away. Am sure that measuring 2 weeks early is nothing, although hopefully your scan will be able to reassure you
MM - hope that all goes well with the MW and baby has moved positions. How are your ankles today?
Hep - Lots of baby out vibes for you too. Hope that the sweep helps this time, have everything crossed for you x
Morph - poor you, you really haven't had a great time at all. 34 weeks today means not too long to go. Hope that the sunshine cheers you up later
Al - Hope that the next two days pass quickly and you get loads of tips from the NCT class this evening. Have you met lots of nice people?
WH - glad that the scan went well and you now have a plan in place. Can imagine that it all feels very real now for you!
Afm - Have had one of those morning so far where I just want to crawl back into bed! Have been so clumsy and managed to drop my breakfast all down me (which meant having to change which is not helpful when my work clothes options are already limited!) and then a glass of water all over paperwork on my desk at work! Am clumsy at the best of times but this is now getting ridiculous! Was also looking forward to meeting my friend for lunch but she has had to cancel as her little boy is not well. Hopefully things will get better when the sunshine comes out later!
Good luck to all three in the "sweep" stakes! Hope that today gets things moving for you all x

I've just had a huge tantrum as my Dr surgery called to cancel my 3pm midwife appointment as the only midwife is off sick. I have however managed to contact the community midwife team (was like getting blood from a stone) and played 'up' my intermittent pains so am being seen by one of them at the local community hospital at 5pm, hoping for an examination and an idea of if these random intermittent pains are doing anything to move things in the right direction, and also hopefully a sweep!
N was AMAZING this morning, sat down to do coloring, kissed me goodbye, waved and let me leave. My jaw was on the floor but I was so happy to see him content. Too grown up!
VE - BW is so going to overtake us isn't she!
Morph - Sorry you were so sick yesterday, really hope you feel better today
Al - Fabulous that you're nearly done at work!
WH - Glad the scan went well, and looking at the bright side it's good that you don't need to think about the 'is it too early to go in?' thing!
Libby - Yay for your last day!
Ferbs - Not good re the clumsiness today!
Where is BW????? Don't you go queue jumping me !!!
17/04/2013 at 10:26
WH - glad you have a date booked, at least it gives you a bit of certainty
libby - hope you have fun at playgroup
ferbs - I have met some lovely ladies at NCT - some of us who will have finished work are meeting up for lunch next week!! Sorry to hear about the clumsiness, maybe it is just tiredness!?
Hep - glad you stood up for yourself - hope that you don't need the appointment at 5pm and the pains start getting more regular!
17/04/2013 at 11:35
Ankles are much better today thank you!
Well done on getting stroppy Hep! Sometimes it has to be done to get what you need. Glad preschool went well.
I have just had the wheel fixed on my car so another job done. I always feel like i have been ripped off though. Should have cost £50 and i ended up paying £107 as *obviously* the wheels needed to be realigned. Grrrrrrr.

VE, I ordered some tens electrodes on Good Friday and they arrived this morning! Needless to say I ordered some more from elsewhere and will be sending these back. Sending you a ton of baby out vibes.
Bexy, boo to a cold - that's rubbish. Start necking the vit C now!
Maisie, hope baby moves from back to back for you. That's annoying about the mechanic - I have no idea about cars so would just cough up (but resent it!)
Hep, that's sooooo annoying about the pains, but yay for N! Sincerely hope the sweep this afternoon works, fingers crossed.
Morph, glad to hear you're feeling better this morning. I've had more sickness in my 3rd tri than at any other time??!
Al, yay for 1 day in London left! What is the likelihood of LO not being able to BF? Will the session help you tonight with talking about expressing at all?
WH, it is comforting knowing that there is effectively an end date in sight, though the thought of a 97th centile baby sends shivers down my spine....
Libby, good luck with play group - sounds like a challenge with 2 LOs and a bump!
Ferbs, today sounds like a write off! Going back to bed sounds like a great option (even if its not possible....)
AFM, forced H into MU last night as am desperate to evict elvis. I slept terribly last night - the muscle I've pulled in my bump is still sooooo painful. I woke up feeling sick, and with something that feels suspiciously like The Ar5e. I was actually sick before taking C to nursery, poor little thing was hammering on the toilet door going 'hello mamma' . Had to have a bath this morning as the pulled muscle was just so sore, then had a doze before my sweep. My MW gave me all the usual spiel about how the sweep might not work as I'm only 38wks, and it *was* really uncomfortable, but my mood improved DRAMATICALLY when she said I was easily 3cm dilated and she could stretch me to 4! she's told me to expect a show soon, and is hopeful that I won't make or need my induction date. Man, I hope she's right as I am just SO uncomfortable. Though saying that, I get the feeling that I'm going to be hugely unpopular if I queue jump (again). I called my H at work to tell him, and he's been going on about how the NHS should just employ him to induce labours as it was after MU last time that my waters broke... .
Baby out vibes to all who may want them xxx
