Morning all, how are we today.
WW - hope everything is ok, I don't think I've seen an update, have I??
Well, day 3 of maternity leave and so far I'm managing to fill my days ok. I'm spreading out some tidying/cleaning with some sunbathing. Its a bit cloudier this morning so that will let me get on with some more cleaning. I've got the mw and the dentist today and plan to walk to my appointments to get some exercise and fresh air.
Hope everyone is ok. Happy Hump Day xxx

I guess a positive of a summer baby is the lovely weather when you're off work! It's not so nice in an office but sounds like you've able to balance some good stuff with your chores which is the way to do it. Good luck at the dentist and hope the mw goes well. What will they be looking at today?
AFM - we are in the house! Sorry for being quiet over the last few days. The guy that was supposed to helping us move let us down last minute so poor H did most of the move by himself Monday. I took yesterday off just to try and get some semblence of normality going and we have a bed, wardrobe and an almost unpacked kitchen so it's going ok. I just don't look in the spare bedrooms as it's enough to give me a heart attack!! Baby is fine, H made me have a nap yesterday after loads of unpacking and minimal help with loading/unloading but I've been getting lots of kicks so I don't think I overdid it too much.
We had our third parentcraft last night and H came out in a really good mood again. As much as he moaned about having to go I think he really enjoys them haha. Learned a lot about baby poo and the man didn't even flinch! What a hero.
WW - I hear it's all gone quiet on your end, hope all is ok and baby is on the way out!! Loads of vibes.

Hey Jonesy - thas great your OH is enjoying the parentcraft classes. It makes all the difference. So glad you are in your house and everything is moved in too. You'll get there with the unpacking, the important thing is to be in. Glad the baby is doing ok and give you lots of kicks. Its amazing.
I'm not sure what the mw will be checking today - I guess just the usual urine, blood pressure, babies hb and measuring me.

Just a quick one from me as work is crazy as we are in the middle of a trade fair. I am in a right grumpy/sad mood as had a big argument with my H last night. Told me he was absolutely shattered and everyhing was too much for him. Apparently work is crazy at the moment but instead of TALKING to me about it so I can react better he waits until it all blows up. I am really pi**sed off at him but was so upset just left the room. Can't trust my hormones at the moment. Fantastic timing for him to have a meltdown really..... anyway feel like ignoring him for the next coulpe of days - maybe selfish and not very undertanding of me but I'm not seeing it from him towards me either. MEN!!!!!!

Hello everyone! sorry have been awol - have had 'technical issues' so have been unable to log on until now when ive dug my old lap top out!
anyways, Candy - yay to being on maternity leave, hope your appointments go well. Do you have anything else planned for while you're off?
Jonesy - glad you're all moved in, very sweet of your h to tell you to rest after unpacking, can be so easy to over do things. Glad you're both enjoying parentcraft classes
Sue - grr men eh! they do tend to leave things to get bad before talking about them dont they! hope you both feel better soon

CA - glad to hear your ML is going well so far. Hope the dentist/MW goes ok x
Jonesy - your poor H having to do the move by himself :( glad you're in though. Lots of rest and don't overdo it! Our classes start in a couple of weeks and I think H is looking forward to them :)
Sue - oh dear hope you guys sort things out soon!
AFM - I have my consultant appointment this morning - first one up here so will find out if they are going to do growth scans or not. My consultant down South was going to scan me at 32 and 36 weeks but mentioned they might not up here. Bit nervous as I felt really comfortable at the other hospital (being there so many times with infertility appointments and the miscarriage etc) so going to a new hospital is quite scary!

CA I'm so glad you're into the swing of mat leave now. Enjoy yourself. You deserve a rest. I hope the mw and dentist goes well for you .
Jonesy yay for being in your new place, even if it's been a challenge I bet it's worth it? Have you had a few days off work so you could get settled?
CO it's lovely to see you! We've missed you. 35 weeks is fab, it gets real from here on in! Glad the antenatal class are good and your H seems to be listening. No idea if mine did. I hope so!
Browny good luck at your new appt. I would be trying to lead them and saying how anxious you are and that you need thr scans to keep you calm. My consultant doesn't really seem to bat an eyelid at referring for scans, it's the midwives that have issues with them.
Let us know how you get on.
Afm- I've washed down the crib, Moses basket and carrycot this morning. I've also washed the fabric parts of the Moses basket and the carrycot and they're drying on the line at the moment.
I've not got much planned for today, I'm thinking I might wash the windows, I probably won't get a chance once baby arrives for a while. I'm also going to do an online shop to be delivered with all the food/ drinks we want for the hospital. Plus some goodies to stash away for once baby is here! :)
