Morning ladies! Thought I might as well start a thread seeing as I've a rare bit of time to myself while O is still sleeping . Afeet yesterday's amazing sleep last night went completely the other way...I'm shattered! Finally gave in at 6 as baby wouldn't stop wriggling!
MW this afternoon....Literally cannot believehow quickly time is flying now. 6(ish) weeks and counting!!
Baby out vibes to all the July mummies to be who want them
02/07/2014 at 07:34
Coco I hope you gt a better nights sleep tonight. Good luck with the mw. 6 weeks is no time at all!!
We less than a week until edd and no signs of happy feet moving south, if anything they feel a bit higher up under my ribs! Naughty baby! So, I'm trying to make the most if my last few week(s) alone and I'm catching up with lots of friends. Although I'm not going too far and I'm staying local!
Sunny day here today and a friend is coming over at lunch time so we can sit in the garden for a catch up!

Hi Coco + Imp - hope you are both well.
All ok here but a lot of BH's which have me breathing through on occasion - I cannot imagine that baby will stay inside for another 6 weeks somehow... Slowly but surely transferring everything at work and leaving a bit early in the evenings - its getting very hot here again so I'm taking it easy.....
Hi to all that come on later xx
02/07/2014 at 08:21
Coco- its gone so quickky hasnt it!! I am already in the office, was up at 5.30 unable to sleep with hip pain so thought I would get cracking, Lauren at home with Molly until Mum gets there at 7 and they were both snoring their heads off - lucky things!
Imp - Enjoy your time to yourself, fingers crossed baby will move into position soon
Sue - fingers crossed the BH's will ease off a bit, I find mine worse if I am moving around a lot but then I have been having them for about 10 weeks now!
AFM - I am in a very hormonal mood, ignored OH all last night as he wasn't happy with his dinner so I told him not to bother eating it (he didn't fancy salad) but there was nothing else so he could just starve! opps! I threw it all in the bin (decent bit of steak too) and he done himself toast when I went to bed I think. M has a bad cold at the moment which I am hoping I will not get but I cannot give my girl cuddles when she is poorly. Bedrooms on there way to being sorted, hoping to order the carpet today, beds all delivered and new mattresses, paint purchased, just need the girls to go on their holidays next friday and then we can get cracking - we have school induction for Molly and Prom for Lauren before then though - busy few weeks, baby please stay put!!
Hi to all that follow, will try and jump back on later x
02/07/2014 at 08:33
Hi Nina - I would have thrown it in the bin too - MEN!!!!!
02/07/2014 at 08:39
Oh nina how annoying. I would have been livid about it. I hope you manage to avoid the cold, I've just got over one and it's no fun. It sounds as though you've got a busy few weeks ahead, I hope you get sorted.

Imp - Cheeky Happy Feet! Though things can turn round very quickly in terms of babies coming out so you never know ;-) Enjoy your sunny catch up!
Sue - I know the feeling about baby staying put another 6 weeks. I had some strong BH last night and feel the size of a house already! Take it easy.
Nina - I would've binned it too...men eh?! Hope M is better soon, poor little love. We're all loaded with cold here too so I sympathise. Sounds like you've been v proactive with bedrooms, you'll have to give us a flash when they're done. L must be so excited for her prom too...can't wait to see pics :-)

Coco - sorry the sleep wasn't great last night. Nice easy day today? Hope the midwife goes well! This year has flown by I can't believe it.
Imp - are you happy to wait a bit longer or do we need to send HF move down vibes? Chilling in the garden sounds lovely. Can't believe you have less than a week to go!
Sue - hope the last few days at work go ok and you get everything handed over. BH are horrible aren't they? Mine are super uncomfortable. Taking it easy in the heat sounds like a good plan.
NB - busy couple of weeks you have coming on. Muchos baby stay in vibes to you until that's all done. Glad to hear the rooms are nearly sorted. Really hope L enjoys her prom! I loved mine. Hahaha uh oh H. Mine always asks what's for dinner and then says he doesn't fancy ANY of the options I give him so I've stopped responding to that question now. I would also have chucked it if he'd complained. How rude! I hope he enjoyed his toast!
AFM - lots of braxton hicks and period pain for me recently. Everytime I make a noise or stop what I'm doing to wait for it to pass H asks if I'm having a baby haha. I still don't think it will be early I think I'm just getting ready for the onslaught! Terrible sleep last night too, must be something in the air! I'm getting twitchy legs and lying on my side is uncomfy for bump and boobs so I'm tossing and turning (albeit slowly) a lot. Not much longer to go though!
Hi to those that follow and baby out vibes for those that need!
02/07/2014 at 10:38
Jonesy send them vibes my way. I want happy feet out ASAP!
Sorry you had a bad night, I got twitchy legs for a while and I found getting H to rub my feet and legs before bed eases them. Get your H on the job!

Coco - boooooo to a bad sleep. It's lovely to have those babies wriggling away, but not during the night!!! Hope all goes ok at the mw today.
Imp - good idea having lots of plans for the next week or 2. These babies just work to their own schedules!!! Come on Happy Feet, come and meet us!!!!
Sue - sounds like you need to start taking it a bit easier. Good that you are handing over st work though.
Nina - wow you've been a busy bee!!!!! I hope you and your OH are ok now. Men!!!!!!. Have a nice day.
AFM - nothing happening here. I'm just trying to enjoy my last couple of weeks of me time before the little one makes and appearance. I've got the mw this afternoon so I'll find out if Baby CA is engaged but it really doesn't feel like it. She's also going to book me in for my induction today so at least I'll have that plan in place should I need it. I'm in for the long haul over here!!!
Happy hump day everyone xxx

Sorry, I have been a rather lame third tri member of late!
Coco - sorry sleep was so bad, hope you get a better night tonight.
Imp - tell that baby to get a wriggle on, can't wait to find out the flavour! Nice that you are keeping yourself busy though.
Sue - Looks like you' might be meeting baby soon...hope work is OK.
Nina - I would have strangled him, cheeky b*gger
Jonesy - maybe baby is just warming up! Hope you sleep better tonight too.
CA - let's hope baby makes an appearance soon!
AFM - so I am at my new agency, and it's OK. I am so tired this week though, everything hurts, heartburn is killing me, and I just can't really be bothered. Can't wait for maternity leave to be honest. Not much to report, still feeling baby move about, although I think they're nestled right in as kicks are in different places to before! Got MW and whooping cough jab tomorrow, am hoping they can tell which way baby is laying as I have no idea!
Baby out vibes to all that need them xx
02/07/2014 at 12:02
Gavi I have spoken sternly to happy feet to no avail. I think they're just too comfy to come out!
I had really bad heartburn, have you asked the gp about ranitidine? It's like a miracle cure. I hope you feel a bit better soon, the last while at work really took it out of me. I hope you find our which way baby is lying, I found it really hard to tell myself.

Afternoon all (just!)
Coco - sorry you had a bad night. Hope mw goes ok.
Imp - it's flown by! Not long to go now! :)
Sue - I know its so hard we the hot weather atm isn't it.
Nina - wow you sound super busy! I probably would have done the same thing if my h had said that!
Jonesy - lol at your H. Not too long left for you!
CA - oh dear hope you are wrong and baby isn't going to keep you waiting too much longer!
Gavi - glad the new agency is going ok. I've been going through a moany stage recently too. Hugs! X
AFM - MW went ok yesterday. Measuring 1cm behind so not as small as I thought! Baby is head down too! I text H and he said 'does that mean it can happen at any time' lol. My iron levels are low but not low enough to worry about so just need to eat some more iron-rich foods I think. More washing done today - slowly getting organised! Getting everything out is helping me see what I still need to get.
Baby out vibes to those that want them! X

Imp - many many vibes being sent your way lovely
CA - hope the appointment goes well. You're so close now!! So exciting.
Gavi - glad the new agency is ok. 6 weeks is barely enough time to settle in so hopefully it will go quick and you can be off! I'm also on meds for heartburn and it's amazing. Mine was awful from 24 weeks but now I get hardly any reflux until bed time which is more manageable.
Browny - I did that too. Got all the baby stuff out and made a big ole list. Really helped me as we had stashed it all away and I couldnt remember what we had or didnt have. Glad the mw went well. Did you like your new one? Lots of steak for you by the sound of it!
02/07/2014 at 14:00
Browny - baby better not be coming out yet, I am warming up my PP duties though...I'll start bugging you soon enough, hehe.
Thanks for the tips ladies, will speak to the MW tomorrow and demand some drugs!
02/07/2014 at 16:24
Jonesy - yeah she is lovely although a bit ditzy and unreliable!
Gavi - I think/hope you have a while longer until PP duties lol :)
02/07/2014 at 16:57
Jonesy - sorry I missed you earlier!!!!! Your H is funny!!!!! Not too much longer for you to go now at least. Its rotten when you can't get comfortable.
Gavi - glad the new agency is ok. Sorry you're struggling with a few things but yay to baby kicks. They are the best. Hope you get on ok at the mw tomorrow and they can tell you how the little one is lying.
Browny - glad you got on ok at the mw. I think 2cm either side is within the normal range. Glad you're getting organised. Slow progress is better than no progress!!!!
