I don't always manage to get on here but thought I'd start one today if that's ok?!
its a month today till due date, still freaking out a little but seems that it's husbands turn, he's been quite emotional this week and I think the pressure of everything is getting to him a bit. Will hopefully have found a replacement mat cover by the end of the day, only 7 working days left!!
Lots of love for the third tri birth announcements and a big welcome to the new faces, big wave to all that follow!! X

Morning Kapowski - I can't see another thread??
Not long to go for you now! Bless your H.
Huge congrats to Wispa!
Its our third wedding anniversary today so we're going out for a meal tonight. I have to stay in today as I have two deliveries coming - one is H's anniversary present and the other is a Moses basket stand. Can't miss the first one at least or I'll never hear the end if it! I made a huge deal out of my H being late with my first anniversary present so he wouldn't let me live it down!
Hello to those that follow x

Morning kapowski, aw, your poor H for worrying! Yay for mat leave starting soon, exciting stuff. And only a month to go, countdown really starts now. Do you have your hospital bag packed yet?
AFM - I'm term +7 aka 41 weeks today. Very jealous that my due date twin (Wispa) is having newborn cuddles and I'm still heavily pregnant but my day will come, soon! I lost my mucus plug last night, got very excited and then googled and found out that can happen weeks before labour so excitement over haha. It seems I get back ache and contractions every night but am fine all day so no real signs of any thing going any time soon. Induction 8am Saturday so she's got her eviction notice
Hi to all that follow and hope all you 3rd tri ladies are surviving in this heat - my feet are so swollen you can't classify them as feet anymore.

Missed you browny - enjoy your wedding anniversary, and congrats on 3 years. Me and H don't have our first one until July 27th and he doesn't remember the date so I don't have high hopes, I did ask him when our anniversary was and he said 'I wanna say June...' *sigh*
11/06/2014 at 08:12
Lol WW - I'd start now with the reminders! I hope things happen soon for you and you don't need the induction Saturday! X
11/06/2014 at 08:42
K bless your hubs. I think it hits them all at some point. Only 7 days left is really exciting, soon you'll be a lady that lunches!
Browny happy anniversary! :) what have you bought your H?
WW baby out vibes for you, not long now until you'll meet your baby!
Afm- not sure that anyone saw my last post from yesterday. Ended up having a presentation and growth scan yesterday after seeing the consultant. Baby is head down and a whopper at 7lb already, eeek! She's discharged me too which means I can use the water pools in the birth centre, although with a potential 9lb baby im wondering if I should be just going for an epi! Lol!
I was going to wash all the white baby clothes today but it's not all that sunny so I can't decide whether to do it. I going to meet a friend for coffee later and I'm also going to start on my hospital bag.

Kapowski - aw bless your H. I bet he can't wait! Not long til mat leave at all! Hope you can find a replacement today but if not oh well, not your problem haha.
Browny - happy anniversary! What kind of food you going for later?
WW - hopefully the plug means you won't be waiting too much longer. I know it can take weeks but fingers crossed that with the night cramps means something happens quicker! Failing that you know she will be here within a week max! I would definitely start dropping hints about the anniversary too!
Imp - did they measure from the scans? 7lbs isn't so bad! I reckon mine will be huuuuge. Is a water birth what you're planning on? Good news you can go to the birth centre though regardless of what birth plan you make. Have fun at coffee.
AFM - baby was trying to squirm it's way out of my belly last night I'm sure. H hasn't really felt movement since about 26 weeks but he was able to get a whole 10 mins in! I must have eaten something stimulating haha. H did ask if it was normal as last thing he felt were the little pops for kicks and now it's full on alien style bulging. Had a terrible nights sleep though as i got up FIVE times for a wee. Not a happy bunny today.

I'm having a lazy day today since I managed to drop back off to sleep after an early wake up. Not in work today, but have a few work related admin things to do (report on working frontline while pregnant, emails to payroll and HR, invite the work girls out for a pre baby afternoon tea etc) and piles of laundry. Nothing really to report pregnancy wise except I'm getting big now, and have put on just over 2 stone already. Oops. I am getting impatient though. I think now my gestation starts with a 3 not a 2 I feel I should be nearly there, especially with finishing work next week, but even when I finish it's still nearly 2 months to go. Grrr!
Kapowski, I sympathise re your husband. I'm getting a bit worried that mine will be useless when I'm in labour, or ask me stupid questions. Still toying with home birth and not sure how good he would be at clearing up the mess. I'm used to it due to my job, but he can get a bit squeamish.
Browny, happy 3rd anniversary :-). What's the present? I can't remember what the third year is meant to be. Then again it's my second anni soon and can't remember that one either!
WW, seems something may be happening then? At least you know you have a date for induction if necessary, but fingers crossed baby will pit you out of your misery sooner. I think your H needs a present with your wedding date stamped on it!
Imp, great news that you've been discharged from the consultant. Remember the scans aren't always accurate, so you can always try for a water birth and have epi as a backup plan? Generally it all looks positive for you though xx

Oh hi Jonesy, our posts crossed! I think you're at the same stage as me: squirmy baby and lots of wees! Hope you manage to get some rest later xx

Kapowski - wow only a month until due date! hope you get mat cover quick as well, and well if you don't, it's not your problem
Browny - happy wedding anniversary - what kind of food tonight? Iwhat did you choose for your H?
WW - you poor thing!! fingers crossed any day now - each day passed is another day closer! ha I never knew about mucus plug not necessarily meaning labour imminent!
Imp - my goodness to your little chunk!!! wow. Birth pool does sound nice though - is it starting to feel a bit more real?
Jonesy - yey to your H feeling lots of movement but boo to a bad night's sleep. Hopefully tonight you will be so tired you will sleep a bit better, but I suppose not if waking up for wees al the time!
BF - relaxing day sounds fab - as well as afternoon tea -not long tl you finish work now!
AFM - had growth scan yesterday. They've been keeping an eye on baby's femurs as they were 3 percentile (and I'm a weenie myself at 5.2 ) but had been growing consistently. Yestrerday they said the growth had dropped a little bit and she's gone below the 3 percentile and off the 1-100 to rating so feeling a little concerned but trying to keep it out of mind. They are speaking to the consulstant today and said hopefully she will ring me but I guess if I haven't heard by about 3pm I'll call myself. Trying not to freak out as the scanners always freak me out, and then the consultants are all very blasé.... had my first phsyio app as well - very painful but hopefully will help!

Imp - great news re: baby being engaged and you getting a choice of birth. 7lb already?!
Jonesy - mine does that where it looks like there is an alien in there or something! I love watching it :)
BF - I'm also getting impatient. Its the final stretch now but still feels ages away!
CJ - I'm sorry to hear her growth has slowed down a bit since last time. Its easier said than done to not worry. They are keeping a very good eye on you and she is probably just a small person like her mummy!
For those that asked we're going to a Spanish/Cuban restaurant tonight - they do Tapas, steaks and burgers lol. We've just got back from Spain so thought it would be nice to go there. I love tapas! Although its our third anniversary, last year we got muddled up and did leather gifts for our second anniversary, so we've done cotton this year. I've got H a world map, printed on cotton with 'The (Browny's) World Map' printed on it and we can put pins in it to signify where we've travelled to (we love travelling). Its coming from America via Etsy so got held up with customs even though I paid for express shipping! I think he'll be really pleased as we've sat down before and coloured in a map showing where we've visited and he commented it would be nice to have something to put up on the wall. This can be stretched like a canvas so we can put it up on a wall somewhere :)

Sorry I've been awol, I've been desperately trying to get my work finished and sorting stuff for the house. I don't think I've ever been so busy!
Kapowski, happy one month to due date! Woohoo to only 7 working days left!
Browny, happy anniversary! Tapas sounds lovely. I LOVE your gift idea! I bet your H is really chuffed.
WW, hurrah for your mucas plug, things are happening :) Glad you have an eviction date now, baby will be in your arms soon one way or another x
Imp, fantastic that yesterday's appointments went so well! Well done you for growing such a big and strong baby :) So glad you've been discharged back to the mws. Good luck with your hospital bag, exciting times! x
Jonesy, boo to a rubbish sleep. I hope you sleep much better tonight. Lovely that your H got to feel some movements :)
BF, enjoy your lazy day.
CJ, I'm glad you've seen a physio, hope it's helping a bit today? I bet they just caught you for your scan right between growth spurts so it's skewed things a little bit. Hope you manage to speak to a consultant soon and that they put your mind at rest x
AFM, 37 weeks today! Baby is officially cooked :) I'm pretty sure I'm starting to drop but keeping everything crossed that she stays inside until after we move next weekend. Stood on the scales this morning for the first time in weeks and I've put on exactly 2 stone and counting.
I'm still working (albeit from home) and have just agreed to a tiny bit more work on top of the outstanding work I already had to finish off. At this rate I'll be typing up emails in between contractions!
Hope everyone is having a nice day x

Jonesy- yeah they measured the baby at the scan, they're at the top of all the charts! Eeek! At least a big baby is a strong baby, hopefully. Booo to 5 loo trips. I hoot today is at least going fast for you. Not long until move day now. :)
Bf enjoy your day.
Cj I hope you've heard from the cons by now? I'm sure little bubba is just a diddly one.
Browny that gift sounds lovely, very thoughtful and meaningful. Enjoy your food tok! Yummy!
Fig happy full term day! :) I'm so happy and excited for you! I can't believe our babies will be here so soon. Plenty of baby stay in vibes for you though until the big move south.
11/06/2014 at 16:45
Fig - happy full term! Lots of stay put vibes heading your way! Great that you have so much work on but you need to make sure you don't overdo it!
Well it arrived and I'm really pleased with it! The delivery man was really yummy and I answered the door in my comfies, no make-up and messy hair. Great!
11/06/2014 at 16:47
Haha browny. I'm constantly worried about answering the door in my dressing gown now. I'm not eve sure it closes over properly.
Glad you're pleased with his present. Now to enjoy your meal out.
