The 1st tri threads are really quiet at the moment - from Monday shall we try a weekly one? We seem to be missing out on each others' news if we can't get on daily, and when only 4 or 5 people post it's a shame. What do you think?
Not much news here, been a bit down since the postponed CVS - it's on Monday now, and I can't help realising I was expecting the results on Mon / Tues and will only just be having it done. I know it's only another week, but it's more waiting. I'd also been told originally that if we needed a termination, a surgical termination was ok up to 12+6, but when I mentioned this at the hospital where the CVS is being done, they seemed surprised and said their policy is 12 weeks. So it looks like I wouldn't be able to have it anyway... which kind of takes the pressure results timing because if they need to grow it on for a few extra days it sounds like it wouldn't make a different to the intervention, but it has just made me feel a bit meh.
Morning sickness is also still really bad - it seemed to be easing for a few days, but I've spent the last 3 days with my head down a toilet again.
Sorry this is such a moany post! I'm trying to stay grateful that my little prawn is chucking out so many hormones to keep it safe, even if I do feel crap

Hello Mrs 50s, sorry you are feeling a bit down. It is a pain having to wait longer for the CVS, you can't move any further forward until you know about that so it's a perfectly understandable reaction.
I'm happy to give a weekly thread a go, we seem to have lost so many 1st tri-ers lately, both to 2nd tri but also due to sad reasons :( TTC was getting quiet when we were in there too! Do you think it's us?! Are people trying to tell us something?
I'm back from a lovely warm week in Portugal and am now layering up the wool and fleece again to acclimatise to being back here! I had to slow down a lot and do a lot less tha. I normally would when I'm away but that's ok. As I was getting up later I haven't had many sickness issues, in fact it was only this morning when I had to be up early to get to the airport that I was reacquainted with that "so sick I just want to go back to bed" feeling. No wonder I was so desperate for the school holidays, feeling like this every day is exhausting.
I'm 10 weeks tomorrow, where is the time going?

Mrs 50s - Hope you feel better soon, its a shame that your CVS has been put back, that must be frustrating.
TT - I bet the weather was much better in Portugal than here. 10 weeks yay!
AFM - Nothing much to tell you really. Been so hungry today, i've had three bags of crisps already
I'm happy to go with the weekly thread until we get a few more people here. It is getting VERY quiet!
