I hope everyone is ok. The kids woke at silly o'clock again so we let them get in the bed with us where they slept till nearly 7am, which is much better! We're having a lazy weekend with nothing much planned.
Have a lovely weekend!

morning! yay for lazy weekends wish that was me
so at 7.30am 2 men came to clear our back garden (the neighbours will love us ) it was all very dodgy, i found an advert in the paper, then man said he'd come at 7.30, asked how big a skip id need and i said 'o i have no clue, its all new to me' so he said 'dont worry il look after you!' i mean WTF , so in preparation for 8(!!) 5 year olds coming to play on wednesday our garden is now safe
im now at work, as its the time where they calculate my average mat pay so il be here for the next 8 weekends
men coming back tomorrow to clear our garage too as we are having that turned into a play room. so in september il be slightly stressed with playroom and hall stairs and landing renovations taking place, whilst moving the boys bedrooms, god i can feel the blood pressure rising already! eugh!
Madam had a quiet day yesterday but seems to have woken up now and is poking away, still no middle name, but not to worry as my h will apparently just know its perfect when he hears it arrrgh
hope all well with everyone else

DS enjoy your relaxing weekend
RF I'm sure a middle name will appear soon!
AFM not much to report, seem to be feeling more wriggles now, can't wait for H to be able to feel them. Going to get my hair cut this afternoon then dinner with mum dad and sister tonight. Other than that quite a chilled one before my brother gets married next weekend x

DS - 7am is far more sensible, isn't it! I've been awake since 6 despite having the opportunity for a lie in!
CP - I'm sure all the upheaval with garage into playroom, etc will all be worth it.
MrsL - enjoy getting your haircut and have a nice evening.
AFM, we've not really done much. H started cutting and tidying the front garden this morning and he's still doing it now! We were going to pop out this afternoon but that obviously hasn't happened. Will probably have to do that tomorrow instead. I'm feel really tired today so I'm tempted to have a nice bath tonight and an early night. I'm not fussed whatsoever about the football!

Ds 7am is still pretty early! Hope you enjoy your lazy weekend.
Rf if they do a good job at clearing things then that's ok! At least with the weekends it's for a very good reason and you can count down.
Mrs l I have also just got my hair cut and we are off to my parents tonight and going out for a meal. My sis got engaged a couple of weeks ago so we are going out to celebrate.
14/06/2014 at 15:08
Wig hope you get your early night. I feel the same about the football and even if I loved it there's no way I could stay up that late!

WG - a bath and bed sounds bliss
bunny enjoy your meal out
Mrs L - yay for movements!
afm (again!) quite giddy as iv just looked in the annual leave file and found an extra week of annual leave i hadnt realised i had. im not too sure what to do with it tbh, because im here every weekend till early august due to my mat pay calcultaion, then iv got a week off in august, then a week off in september, then only working 2 days a week in october, then first 2 weeks of nov are annual leave too, so really no idea where to fit it in, soemone suggested i sell it back to work which would be about £640 in my pocket so im considering doing this as we have tonnes to do to the house, but then selfishly i want the time off but just no idea where to take it. wwyd?

WG had aovely evening thank you, hope u got your warm bath and chilled night x
Bunny my hair feels so much better now I left it far too long to get it cut. Hope I enjoyed your sisters celebrations x
RF can u take the annual leave as days rather than full weeks? Maybe you can take some long weekends over a couple of months? X
15/06/2014 at 07:19
Bunny - did you just have a trim or a new style? I need mine highlighting. Hope you had a nice meal out last night.
RF - I love that you've just found an extra weeks annual leave, that would never happen to me! The time off would be lovely, especially before baby arrives but I understand where you're coming from about having the money instead. Always rather handy! When does your annual leave end? Could you perhaps carry it forward and return to dork a little later after mat leave?
Well, I didn't get my early night or soak in the bath. H spent literally all day on the garden and then took us out for a pizza. When we got home and eventually got F settled we caught up on some tv. Soak in the bath tonight though that's for sure! We've been discussing names again. We've had a girls name chosen for 4 years, no middle name decided yet, but why do I keep considering alternatives? Maybe I'm just have a bit of a wobble making sure we choose the right name. We don't plan on having any more kids either so maybe I'm thinking about the fact it has to be 'right'.

WG I'm so tempted to sell it back because I only work 3 days anyway, then off a week a month from August then only doing 2 days a week in oct, I'm finishing around 34/35 weeks. I sit down all day too so its hardly strenuous work iyswim. So I think either carry over or sell tbh. I'm likely having 12 months off (definetely 9, I just need to get them to calculate my mat pay after Iv done the 8 weeks of weekends to see if 12 months is ok), so id be going back nov 15 with 9 weeks of leave to use before April so that's a possibility too I suppose.
Can u try out your names? Write them down etc, a name we really loved didn't look right written down, probably my OCD
Up early with Father's Day, got h a card 'from your little daughter' but need to get to work soon eugh!

Morning ladies, just dipping my toe in here after being put forward a bit at my scan on Friday...I am now 13+4 today.
DS - lazy weekend sounds fabulous, hope you're all enjoying it!
RF - hopefully you and H are able to find a middle name soon. The garden work sounds exhausting but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. As for the holiday, it's a tricky one. Can you keep it for a while and see how you feel? If you sell it back now you may wish you still had it later, or vice versa.
MrsL - glad you had a nice evening, you must be getting excited now for next weekend!
WG - really hope you get your bath tonight! There's nothing quite as relaxing as a lovely soak in a big warm tub.
Bunny - hope you had a nice meal, and that your sister enjoyed the party too!
AFM - tis my birthday today I am officially the age that I will be when I become a mum, which sounds really strange to say out loud. H is running the Men's 10k this morning so I'm off to cheer him on, then we are headed to a lovely posh hotel in the city centre for a nights stay and dinner, they have a lovely spa with loads of different rooms and a lovely pool so I am really looking forward to it. Hoping to head out shopping tomorrow as H is treating me to a few maternity bits and bobs, and we have decided to buy one cute little baby grow following on from our scan. It all feels very real now as we finally told family at the weekend which was lovely.
Hi to all who follow

O forgot to say that I'm on the hunt for a rag doll as I had one from 6 weeks old at my first Xmas and want to do the same for baby as she will be similar age (I still have my rag doll much to hs annoyance) so I said about the rag doll and h has just said 'you aren't giving that flea ridden thing to my daughter are u? erm no!! She's mine, I ain't giving her to no one! Il but the baby a new one
15/06/2014 at 08:45
RF - I've already got all the names written out lol. Still plenty of time yet I guess! Hope work goes ok today. I think the rag doll idea is sweet.
Saffron - lovely to have you join us. Good luck to your H running the 10k and enjoy the spa. Sounds like a lovely day or two ahead.
