    Hello ladies!

well I'm still here! Was far too hot in my room last night (28 degrees at midnight) so we went for an hour long walk at 1am in the hope that it would help get things moving. Nothing yet today, just aching a bit from walking so far!!

Sending lots of love to PurpleStar and her tiny baby x

Hey Kapowski - sorry to hear that things still haven't got moving but hopefully not long now!

Much love and thoughts with PS and her little girl right now x

AFM - miserable weather here unfortunately. Just waiting for a friend, her hubby and our goddaughter to arrive as they are staying the night. Can't really do much to entertain them in this weather so I hope they will be happy with a good catch up, film and curry later! Woke up in a horrible mood today and so did H unfortunately (lots of snapping at each other going on!) so hopefully them visiting will perk us up a bit! X

Hi ladies! Sorry to hear nothing moving yet K, but hope it won't be too long! Late night walk actually sounds really nice.

Browny, hope your friend cheers you up a bit and that you have a lovely evening.

I had a late start to the day since I didn't wake up until 9.15!!! Went to sleep about midnight, and know I woke at least twice and was maybe half awake a few more times, but it's the best I've slept in months! Done some shopping and laundry today, and currently batch cooking a pea and paneer curry. Will have some for dinner tonight, and the rest will be portioned with rice and frozen as ready meals for when baby arrives. So far I have 4 one person portions of chilli, 4 of pasta sauce and hopefully will get at least 4 curry and rice portions today to add to that. Long term target is 28 meals so we have 2 weeks worth of food we don't have to think about! If anyone has any other vegetarian frozen ready meal suggestions please aim them my way. All I can think of is curries, chilli and pasta sauce!

K - I know the too hot feeling...struggled to get comfy and your walk sounds like bliss! Hope things are moving for you now.

Browny - sorry you're both off form..I do think its very common at this stage of pregnancy. Hope the arrival of visitors and their little one helps :-)

BF - batch cooking is so helpful in he early days, we wouldn't have eaten properly last time without it! I can't recommend any veggie dishes off the top of my head but generally stuff like casseroles etc freeze well and provide plenty of goodness. I'll have a think ...

AFM - Not much to report today, just a few annoying jobs done! Off to the motherland tomorrow as O has been invited to a friend's little ones party, will pop to see my parents while there as can't be doing with the drive again before baby is born.

Sending lots of love and vibes to PS and little Amethyst xx

BF - sounds like you are doing well on the batch cooking! Haven't even started mine yet :/ you could do vegetarian lasagna? Do you eat quorn as if so you could do spag Bol, shepherds pie etc? Casserole/stews are a good one too. I'm always a bit weary of freezing rice, do you freeze the rice and curry in the same tub and just wack it all in the microwave at the same time? Need to get on this soon!

Coco - hope you had a nice day yesterday!

    Hello CO!

AFM - friends arrived and we had a lovely afternoon/evening. Curry was nice but a bit spicy for my likes at the moment! They've told us they are trying for number 2 (they knew all about our troubles) so really pleased for them. Feeling much more refreshed today :)

Yes Browny,I freeze the lot together so it's literally a ready meal to be plonked in the microwave. I think as long as you don't leave the rice out for ages and freeze as soon as cooled, it's fine. Has been in the past anyway. Shepherds pie is a good idea too. I think I may buy some foil tubs for that so it can go in the oven. I eat vegemince, hate Quorn but Tescos and Realeat brands are good. Mmm hungry already now I'm writing about pies!

Hello ladies.  Just popping in to apologise for queue jumping on a grand scale. As you know I unexpectedly went into labour on Thursday afternoon and at 11.54pm Amethyst was born weighing 4lbs 1oz.  She's obviously very poorly as she was only 32+4 gestation but things are going as well as they can do for now.

Sorry no personals but I'm still in hospital with her and using my phone to update.  Hope everyone else is doing well and I'll get on and update the due date list as soon as I can for all our new arrivals x
