Hello! :) happy bank holiday weekend!
Well I'm up earlier than I'd have liked. I seem to be getting pins and needles in my hands, particularly on the side I've been sleeping on. It didn't happen pre pregnancy so I can only assume it's a delightful pregnancy symptom?
Anyond get any exciting plans this weekend???
We're meeting friends later at the pub, it's lovely and sunny here so perfect beer garden weather- as long as it stays that way!

Morning. Happy weekend everyone!!!
Imp - sorry you're up early and having trouble with pins and needles. I think circulation can be different in pregnancy but its still annoying if its getting you up early. Hope you enjoy your lunch with friends later. Glad your weather is good. Its pretty rubbish here!!!
AFM - sorry I've not been on all week. This week has been a total write off because work has been ridiculous. Baby CA is doing more wriggling than kicking now which is nice but it can also be uncomfortable at times. I'm defo no complaining though. I'm still feeling pretty good although my pelvis is niggling at me a little bit so I'm keeping an eye on it. I had my first antenatal class on Wednesday night - I'm doing the 4 NHS ones. It was ok but it was loooooooooong. Wednesday night is my night off so its hard going doing a class from 7-9pm as well but no matter, hopefully it will be worth it.
Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday xxx

Imp - your plans sounds lovely and chilled and hope the weather stays nice. Pins and needles does sound like another delightful pregnancy symptom - there are so many to choose from!
CA - what did you think of first ante-natal one? was it really helpful? How long was it? Hope your pelvis pain subsides
AFM - not been on properly for ages as work been busy. Suddenly realised that I am now probably third tri. I just booked my ante-natal classes (NHS) as they are Wednesday mornings so I get the Wednesday mornings off work! lovely. I guess third tri really means I need to get organised now and buy car, car seats and make my choice on a pram. I am such a last-minute girl, everyone on here always seems so organised!
Hi to all who follow

CA sorry work has been so bad, keep focussing on the light at the end of the tunnel, not that many weeks left now. Happy feet is going less kicking any more wriggling too. It's quite a weird sensation isn't it??
CJ welcome to third tri! Just the other day I was thinking you it's be nearly 3rd tri. I wouldn't stress too much about your pram etc, unless you want something with a waiting list you've got time to order it yet. Yay to getting time off work for classes. What a bonus!

Hey Imp - ha you're a cucumber now. That one always makes me laugh. Legally employers have to give paid time off for antenatal classes, ha the only reason my firm does it ;o)

I know a cucumber does seem funny doesn't it?! A pineapple next just seems sore!
I knew that about classes, mine are on a weekend so no time off! Although, I seem to have time off every week for one thing or another anyway at the moment.

yeah I don't think I've ever had so many appointments in my life! Next week got doctors, and then week after got mid-wife in morning and then scan. Luckily my work are great and nobody takes issue with it!

Hi guys, I tried to make it on yesterday, but got so busy it never happened!
Imp, I totally know get the pins and needles sensation, which is party why I have to roll over in the night. Never happened to me before third tri, so I assume pregnancy is to blame. I hope you had a good time at the pub.
CA, I found our NCT classes helpful (the nhs offer in our area is a single drop in session and it was rubbish). Even though I did know a lot of the stuff already, there was a lot of helpful tips for when baby is actually here, and I think the classes were really helpful for H! I hope you enjoy them!
Hiya CJ, welcome to 3rd tri! Like imp said, you don't need to worry about getting everything now, there's still plenty of time. Do you have a short list of prams? And are you definitely getting a new car pre-baby? Car seats and prams you can get within a day or two, so I wouldn't worry about that, but maybe getting the actual car is a bit of a priority :)
AFM, we finally had our housewarming party yesterday. People started arriving at 3pm and we kicked out the last couple after 11pm. I have never been so tired in my whole life as I was last night! It was a lot of fun, but I don't have the stamina to socialise for that long anymore. It's definitely made me think that having both arrival and departure times is a good idea. Especially when baby is here. If people are coming over I'm just going to have to tell them that they can come between 3 and 5 and that's it, haha. My hoarse voice and sore throat were better yesterday, but this morning are back with a vengeance. So today is a bed rest day with very little talking, and plenty of soothing hot drinks. And Wispa cuddles. And maybe a bit of sunshine on the deck.
