Morning ladies, what's everyone up to this weekend? Hopefully you've all got some nice plans.
We're attempting to start potty training F again today. We tried a month or so ago but decided it wasn't quite the right time so fingers crossed it goes better this time! H will probably do the garden and hopefully start clearing the spare room.
Tomorrow we're going to have a BBQ at home.
Have a good one x

Morning WG, BBQ sounds nice, potty training less so! Hope you have some success!
I'm technically fully cooked today, but not even the slightest hint of anything on the baby front. Off to Glasgow this afternoon since we have tickets for the games tomorrow. Coming home Monday- we did think about spending a few days in Scotland but not sure I want to spend too long 6-7 hrs from home, just in case!

WG - can't beat a BBQ, we had one the other evening.
Barefoot - eek at being away from home when fully cooked, although week before I'm due we're away for one night for our 1st wedding anniversary. Fortunately only 2 hours away and OH assures me he's researched where the hospital is haha.
AFM - Well, OH is having his last blow out. He's gone on his Best Friends Stag do, last night until Sunday afternoon - he may not make the actual wedding as it's the day before I'm due and an hour away!
So, today I shall do some batch cooking for the freezer and then pack my hospital bag (altho not sure I have a bag big enough for everything!!). Then, tonight I'm going to my parents for tea. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow, haven't changed my ticker but my due date is 31st August officially, still reckon i'll end up in September. It's very hot out, so apart from a quick trip to the supermarket for some ingredients, I plan to stay in the cool/shade today.

WG - Good luck with the potty training! Enjoy your BBQ tomorrow.
BF - Not sure I'd fancy that journey just now, but have fun at the games...what event(s) so you have tickets for?
Ali - sounds like a productive day planned there. Hope your H isn't feeling too sorry for himself once he's home tomorrow ;-)
AFM - Today. Is my pre baby pampering...hair cut and eyebrows sorted! Can't wait! Batch cooking at the mo while O sleeps...lasagne today. If it was just us I wouldn't be bothering this time round but as it's for O too it gives me a kick up the *** as can't have him eating crap. Hoping H will get round to taking some bump shots too!

BF - yay to being fully cooked! I had F at 37+4 so when I get to that stage, I'll be watching for every little sign! Hope you're enjoying the games.
Ali - I bet you're glad that H's last blow out is now out of the way. I'm already on edge if H is out. Hope you got your bag packed (and that it's big enough!) and enjoyed dinner with your parents.
Coco - Pre baby pampering sounds lovely. I've been trying to decide when to get my waxing done so that I'm 'ready' for when baby arrives but can't decide how late I should book it for. Next appointment is when I'm 30 weeks.
AFM, baby wise everything's fine. She's super active so that's good, I'm glad one of us has energy anyway! The potty training was a bit of a mixed bag yesterday. It all started really well and then just went downhill - 5 on the potty and 7 accidents. All 7 accidents were pretty much one after the other so at the time it felt like a nightmare. I was hot, tired and fed up by the end of the day but I can't give up this time. Today's a new day, right?

WG - I have no experience of potty training but I wish you luck!!
CoCo - how was the pampering? I get my nails done regularly, have booked a haircut because it's just out of control and SOOO thick! Have contemplating a massage but thinking this might be an after the baby pampering luxury!
AFM - Well, Husband is due back later this afternoon, no doubt he'll be fragile. He does have one more event, the day before I'm due his best friend actually gets married an hour away, we've compromised so that he can go but won't stay over or drink and will keep his phone close to him just in case.
I did lots of batch cooking yesterday despite the heat and nearly melting away! Got one last batch of chilli to do later on. Meeting my sister this morning for a wonder round town, it's another glorious day but should be cooler which is fine by me.
Still can't believe I'm 35 weeks today, it's bonkers, getting nervous now about labour etc, one min I'm calm and rational next I'm like OMG!! haha. Borrowed a bigger bag from my mum so hopefully can get started on hospital bag this afternoon.

WG - I hope you have more success with potty training today!
BF- Have fun at the games today! What events have you gone to see?
Ali - Your batch cooking idea is great, I don't think i could have done in it during the eat yeasterday though. Did you manage to start your hospital bag?
coco - Pampering sounds fab! I hope you enjoyed it :)
AFM - My friend and her 4yo daughter came to visit us this weekend, I was shattered last night!! We went to legoland, which was fun, but being on my feet all day and the heat meant I had really puffy ankles last night. Spent the whole bbq with them in a bucket of water :( She has given us her pram, which we've been playing around with this morning. I love it! Makes me even more excited for squidge to arrive now! Next job is to start the nursery...
Hi to those that follow, I hope you've al had lovely weekends xx
