Morning all, hope everyone else is enjoying a lay in!
I'm up bright and early as it's Village Show day here today and I need to cook muffins and ice my traybake to get them up to the village hall by 10.30 so it's a busy morning - I've already been to Asda to get the muffin cases I forgot yesterday! Then Joshua has a party this afternoon before we go back to the show to look around and wait for the prizes to be given out.
This is my last weekend here on 3rd tri - had my pre-op appointment yesterday which was all very routine, and I'm the only elective on the list for Monday at the moment, so hoping to be able to share my news with my PP as soon as I can.
Lots of baby out vibes for anyone who needs them, otherwise I guess I'm next!

Oh M, only 2 more sleeps left until you meet your little girl, how exciting! Sounds like a busy day today, feel free to spend any left over cakes this way.
AFM - off to see another house this morning. Still not sure if we want to move yet, but I think we're both seeing less reasons to stay. Alex is still at my mum's after their trip to London zoo yesterday, will pick him up later then take him to MIL's, where we're staying tonight as they're looking after him whilst we go to the dogs to celebrate H's birthday.
Woke up to a lovely surprise of the photos from my maternity shoot with Madonna last week, I'm so pleased with them!
Bump was quite painful last night, felt like a stitch. Seems ok this morning.

Mornyou you two!
margo -how exciting for you With it being so close! I saw consultant in July and don't see until the day of my CS! you feeling all prepared? Can't imagine how I will feel in the days beforehand? It's kind of weird knowing baby comes on a specific day!
BG - do we get to see any of your pics?, your bump ones are always and anyway, so I imagine proper ones will be really good. I must get on and do some before time runs out! Enjoy your night out. Got to make the most of it now!
Me - well, this mowning sons eye looked bad, but I think it's not as sore as it looks. It's quite swollen. Poor boy are into our room earlier saying 'magic cream' an had put some sudocrem on. Lucky for me there was none on carpet etc, just on the broken skin bit, A few fingers and his ear. Note to self. Put the cream somewhere else!
quiet day today so hubby can rest a bit as he is still in some pain.
baby out vibes to anyone who wants them!
im 38w today!

Margot - so exciting that you'll meet baby on Monday. Very jealous. Have fun at the show.
BG - that stitch pain is sore. Have a fun evening.
IDC - hope your son is ok? And your H. Enjoy yiur quiet day.
Tonight my dad is coming down to spend a few days with us. I haven't seen him since June so will be nice. H has gone off to the inlaws to help them tow stuff and god knows what else. Then they're coming here for lunch. I could do without playing hostess but mum's here to help. Thankfully as I don't have the best relationship with my pil. Got lots of housework to do and the washing machine is broken. joy!
Oh IDC, that was a lucky escape with the sudocream! I bet his eye will look a lot better in 48 hours.

Eek Margot not long now, how exciting! Enjoy the village show, it sounds lovely.
BG - enjoy house hunting and the dogs. Will have a nosey at your pics in a bit, I want some but think I make for a pretty frumpy preg lady so will probably not bother.
IDC - oh that looks a bit sore, what happened?
Daisy - enjoy your time with your dad, something to look forward to whilst hosting the in laws!
I'm off to a friend's house in a bit for a girly gathering, I hope there is food as I will be needing my lunch ;) I got the nursery walls finished yesterday so H is doing the door and skirting while I'm out. I broke myself a bit yesterday so am glad I get the fun day out while he takes over.

BG, you look amazing!! Lovely collection of pics.
I broke myself yesterday - electric fencing for about 3 hours in the morning (although I did draw the line at bashing wooden fence posts in by hand), then hypnobirthing session in the afternoon which was lovely, then evening SJ comp at our yard which I'd helped organise so was rushing round moving jumps and giving people mini-lessons in the warm up and in the ring. By the time we got home I was seriously waddling, and by the time I sat down for a couple of hours in the evening I couldn't walk - needed 2 crutches just to get to bed. This morning I have managed with 1 crutch so far and my SI belt on super-tight. I may have to cave and take some paracetamol. Woe!

Thanks Mrs 50's, I'm really pleased with them.
You need to take it easier, you're at risk of doing yourself serious long term damage. Please slow down a bit!

Finally looked at your pics BG - they are lovely. Very natural looking :)
TT - my boy fell when trying to climb onto a bench, he was with my Dad at the time. It's actually a rubbish pic as its a lot more bruised and swollen in real, life

Up way too early with D. I had a horrible nights sleep. Have a pounding headache and H is still snoring in bed. Today is the day I may kill him. I can't remember the last time he git uo early with D. On a happier note my dad arrived much earlier than we expected and D had him wrapped round her little finger in no time. I've never seen my dad play with play doh before. We're hoping to go for afternoon tea today. Hope I stay awake for it.
TT - hope you got lunch yesterday x
Mrs 50s - hope you have your feet up today. You need to rest x
Baby out vibes to any that need them.

Morning All, hope everyone is having fun but rested weekends. I had a much needed haircut yesterday then a BBQ at my Brothers. Felt like we spent most of the day yelling at the girls, hope today is better. No real plans today, I might see if I can talk H into a trip to Kiddicare for a few bits but I fear it will turn out expensive if we do!! Not much to report baby-wise, still moving a lot and some of the stretches are quite painful!
Very excited for Margot for tomorrow, will be looking forward to seeing another BA

IDC, hope your son is on the mend, that looks sore.
BG, fab pics!
Daisy, hope you can stay awake for afternoon tea.
Noggin, hope you get your trip to Kiddicare.
We had a lovely time at the village show yesterday, my banana and raisin muffins won the muffin category, Joshua's vegetable animal won and H's bakewell tart as well, so a good afternoon all round. It's days like that that make me feel really glad we live where we do.
Today's plans are really just getting ready for tomorrow, finish packing my bag, sort out stuff to leave for H depending how long I'm in for, and last bits of housework. Then we're taking the boys to my parents after tea and having a Chinese before I need to be nil by mouth from midnight. Look forward to sharing news tomorrow!
11/08/2013 at 10:34
Hope you get everything done Margot. Enjoy your chinese x

Good luck for tomorrow, Margot!
I had a very stationary day yesterday - we did have to go to a family birthday party but I took my crutches and sat down the whole time. Unfortunately today I HAVE to do some more electric fencing this afternoon as my horses are moving fields. I have rested all morning though and have my belt ready for action this afternoon! Tomorrow will be another resting day - good job I'm on annual leave!
11/08/2013 at 11:55
I definitely got lunch yesterday, I must have eaten my own body weight in buffet! My friend brought her toddler so it was interesting watching our child-free, clean freak hostess handle a small child mushing cake between her fingers!
Daisy I have only just realised who you are hahaha. I am very slow on the uptake.
Woke up very late this morning, I'm not even dressed yet. H is painting again, bless him. This means that there may be carpet buying later. Or we may do something completely un-baby related, which would be a nice novelty.

Good luck for tomorrow Margot, looking forward to seeing your BA
