Morning everyone, I'm happy to be full term today! Hoping not to go overdue but it's nice to know I will meet my baby within the next 5 weeks :-)
H and I are going out today to stock up on logs etc and do a grocery shop. I plan to fill the freezer with batch cooking this week.
Hope you all have nice weekends whatever you're doing and baby out vibes to Mrs50s and Banzy xx

Morning everyone baby out vibes for everyone that wants them!
BE - happy full term, have a lovely weekend. I had planned to do some batch cooking but haven't got round to doing any yet.
38+4 today and had a few pains last night, think they we're braxton hicks. Will be spending some time on my ball today to see if we can get anything started. Doing a few bits round the house today and maybe go to the pub for tea. Tomorrow we're taking LO swimming so I can show daddy how good she's getting and then going to my mum and dads for a get together with the family.
hope everyone has lovely weekends planned x

BE- happy term day! Sounds like you have a busy but very organised weekend planned.
Custard- good luck with the Christmas shopping. You are all very organised!
Banzy- get bouncing! Haha hope things start happening soon, very exciting! Have a lovely weekend.
AFM- well, shopping trip was successful yesterday. Got most last minute things for my bag so just need to pack it which will be happening today! Also, need to get some nursing bras as they didn't have my size.
What size are you wearing now and what size nursing bras have you got just out of interest?
26/10/2013 at 09:43
BE- happy full term, yay! :-)
Custard- happy shopping, take plenty of stops and rests with those crutches missus! X
Banzy- Get bouncing on that ball!
AFM- doing some more christmas shopping today, then out to our friends tonight for a meal.
Have a good day everyone!

BE- happy full term! Watermelon, ouch!
Custard- enjoy the xmas shopping!
Banzy- sounds like a lovely weekend, baby out vibes!
Sam- good luck with the packing. I heard a suggestion that u should pack it, then get ur H to unpack and repack it so he knows where evrything is and also what everything is for! I am so clueless about bras im afraid!
AFM- had a lovely birthday, thanks for all the wishes. Went out for dinner last nigh and we both ended up so stuffed, poor baby must have been squished in there. Treated my self to a glass of champagne too! Need to run a couple of errands this morning like collecting balloons then H has booked us in to Hotel du Vin in town so going to headover and check in to make the most of the luxary! So excited about my party! H keeps telling to make the most of it as any future paties will involve jelly and pass the parcel!
Baby movements have been very quiet the last couple of days but I do feel a little one everynow and then so trying not to panic. I know they are running out of space in there too, especially after last nights meal!
Have a good weekend everyone!

BE, happy full term and watermelon day! ( where is the wince icon?)
Custard, enjoy your Christmas shop, hope the shops aren't too busy.
Banzy, enjoy your family weekend .
Sam, pack! No idea about bras, I've gone from a 36b to a 38d and will book a fitting in the next couple of weeks for nursing bras.
Afm, builders due later so we will crack on with nursery while they are here, feeling good as I had an amazing sleep. Birthing ball has arrived so might have a practice bounce, don't really know what I'm supposed to do on it!
Enjoy the extra hour tomorrow everyone xxx

Sam - glad you had a successful shopping trip. I haven't really changed much in bra size this time. Will get measured again once baby is born.
Gemini - enjoy your shopping
Mrs Bass - enjoy your party tonight, very exciting!
Mrs P - glad you slept well, I had a chat this morning with my little one about staying in bed an extra hour in the morning. She said ok I will, but I'm not convinced!

Happy term day BE!
Custard, enjoy your Christmas shopping! Hope you can access some mince pies and hot chocolate on your travels; it makes the shopping a lot less stressful!
Baby out vibes to Banzy! Enjoy your pub tea.
Sam, glad your shopping trip was successful. I've bought some cheap nursing bras initially as my sister went up 3 cup sizes within the first couple of weeks so I didn't see any point in being measured until my milk comes in and supply is stable. My back size has also gone up in late pregnancy (apparently your ribs can expand to allow more room for your organs) so I don't know if it'll go back down after the baby arrives? I went from 36E to 36G in early pregnancy and stayed there for months, then went up to a 40 back size and down correspondingly in cup size so am 40E. I've bought 3 nursing bras in 40F and 2 in 40G, but am expecting to go down to 36/38 back size quite quickly (but probably increase cup size).
Gemini, enjoy your Christmas shopping as well! I haven't thought / started mine yet - oops!
Mrs Bass, belated happy 30th! Glad you had a lovely meal and I don't blame you on the champagne! Have an amazing party, definitely make the most of it.
MrsP, glad you got some decent sleep - enjoy doing the nursery!
AFM, bit crampy this morning but not feeling very hopeful. I had a dreadful night's sleep due initially to heartburn (which saw poor H driving 25 mins to the 24 hour Tesco to buy more gaviscon) and then I needed to wee every 2 hours. There's no reason to my night patterns - on Thursday night I slept from 11pm to 9.30am and got up just once for a wee! H also had a rubbish night's sleep as my SPD means I now have to wake him to help me get out of bed. I just hope baby puts in an appearance before Monday or he'll be going back to work (it's been half term here so he's been off all this week).

Shopping was a complete fail. Managed to get the kids bits from toys r us but most of town was shut off due to bomb scare! I managed to stop for lunch, cake then hot chocolate... Totally the way to do shopping!

Oh my phone so won't do personals as it will take me hours but hope everyone is well. It's been quiet on the BA front I have a feeling we will be due one soon!
I had my first antinatal class yesterday which was actually like a huge intro day and lasted for 4 hours!! It was quite good tbh but I had a really irritating girl in my group that kept coming out with stories about friends who had gone through this that or the next thing. She came out with a couple of horror stories in the labour chat and when we left the room the girl that was sitting infront of me (who I know was 38 weeks as she had mentioned it) was in tears with her H and one of the midwifes had taken her aside. I felt do sorry for her and I'm pretty sure it was to do with some of the chat this other girl was starting.
Not much else from me, I'm still having really rubbish sleeps and it's starting to take its toll, I look very drained! The rain is absolutely pouring here, it's so loud so not a great day! I need to go grocery shopping later and get ironing etc done as back to work tomorrow (sob). I'm also about to look at Xmas trees online as ours broke last year so I need to get a new one!!
I hope some of you ladies have had a real benefit of the extra hour in bed xx
27/10/2013 at 07:11
Mrs 50 - hope you had a better nights sleep last night, lots of baby out vibes!
Custard - sorry the shopping didn't go to plan but the chocolate and cake sounds good!
MissDD - that girl sounds like a bit of a nightmare, big thinking before she says stuff!! Christmas tree shopping, exciting!!
Afm - 38+5, off swimming this morning (might suggest a trip to costa afterwards) and then to my mum and dads this afternoon. Bit of a rubbish nights sleep, tossing and turning but LO gave us about an extra 30 mins in bed bless her. Baby fine, still wriggling in there but I just can't get comfy on the sofa in the evening, get a lot of pains in the evening.
27/10/2013 at 08:12
Custard - Sorry the shopping trip wasn't more of a success!
Banzy - Bounce, bounce, bounce!
Sam - I was a 32G pre-pregnancy, went up into a 32H at 19 weeks then a few weeks ago a 32J which I did get in nursing bra and am wearing now. Need to get a couple more but just hanging on as long as possible in case they get bigger!
Gem - Hope the Xmas shopping went well.
Mrs Bass - Glad you had a nice bday :-)
Mrs P - I try and use my ball a bit when I'm watching TV but in all honesty haven't used it much yet as baby was head down from 31 weeks. I'll be using it a lot more now to get baby engaged though!
Mrs 50s - Come on baby!!!
Mdd - I hate it when people are like that, yes there are 'horror stories' but there are a lot more people who don't have a problem, some things you just don't need to hear!
27/10/2013 at 08:19
Banzy - Hope you have a nice day!
AFM - Was completely knackered after shopping yesterday! Glad H and I went together. Going to do some cooking today I think. Waiting for this horrendous storm to come, at the minute it's sunny here!
Had lots of Braxton hicks and twinges yesterday and last night, I like the fact that they're getting more noticeable, keep comparing my bump to previous pictures to see if I can notice if it's dropped! Hoping that when I see the midwife on Tuesday she tells me the baby is more engaged.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone xx

Custard, that's my kind of shopping! I have a feeling all my Christmas shopping this year will be done online.
MDD - bagsy me for a BA next!! Apart from the irritating girl, I hope you got something useful from the antenatal sessions.
Banzy, much better night sleep, thank you! Well done your LO giving you a bit of extra time in bed, sorry you otherwise had a poor night of sleep. Costa today sounds like a plan!
BE, more BH is good! I know some people feel them really early in pregnancy (and some not at all) but mine started appearing more regularly and strongly from about 37 weeks.
I had a much better night's sleep last night - it really seems to be alternate nights so tonight may be rubbish! Hopefully tonight will be rubbish on the sleeping front because I'll be in labour, but I won't hold my breath. It's the not knowing when that's frustrating - I don't even know if I'm getting anywhere near. I'm not having a sweep until 42 weeks, but I might ask for an examination on Thursday (I'll be 40+9) just to see if my cervix has effaced or dilated at all. I'm keeping everything crossed I have a baby by Thursday though!
