Morning all. Thought I'd kick us off early today. Im heading out for a run with my friend in 20 minutes.
If I did ov on Wedesday as the OPKs indicated then I'm 3dpo today and majorly symptom spotting aarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!! Really wish the next couple of weeks would zip past to AF then I can really start again.
anyways, how's everyone today?

Morning gillsy. It's a gorgeous sunny day here today, is it with you too? I've just had some porridge so going to give it an hour and get out for a run myself. I hope you enjoy your run with your friend.
I totally know what you mean about symptom spotting. I think I ov'd sometime between Saturday and Tuesday, so I'm like some crazy lady with every twinge, feeling and sensation! Roll on the next week!

Hey ladies, sorry for crashing in but was hoping to catch you both and Rod. I wanted to ask a question if you don't mind (and apologies for bring this up) its just short of 3 weeks since the op and for at least the past week I've had pains that I could describe as ovary pains (although I must confess I'm not 100% sure where my ovaries actually are!) anyway, it's not actual pains as such but more like a sort of dull aching at both sides near my hip bones. Did any of you have this? I'm starting to get a bit concerned! I tested on wed and still a faint positive and did an opk y'day and it was negative (well a line but no where near the control line) so it's not that I'm OVing? Hope your both well xx

I had strange pains for at least 3 weeks is say. I thought mine was more my bowels as it felt like that area, but I guess it could have been similar to what you're describing. Tbh, if you're worried about it I'd call the EPU and ask to see them/ ask for advice.

Hi MissDD. Hope you are doing ok Mrs??? I usually get ovary pain during my cycle but didn't actually feel anything until this week which was 4 weeks on Tuesday past. It could just be your body getting back into a cycle and your ovaries starting to do something? As Imp said, I'd give the EPU a call if you are worried. No harm and getting things checked.
Imp - my run was great, weather is lovely so perfect for a little 7 miles in the sunshine. Hope your run was good too.

Thanks both. Imp I feel a bit better that you had wierd pains! I'm not hurting so ill leave it for now and if it keeps up I will phone the ward (epu were pretty rubbish!)
I'm ok, how are you both? Exciting your both in the 2ww, I hope the time passes quickly for you.
I'm meeting the girls for lunch today, 2 of them are pg at the moment, one is more a friend of a friend, so don't see her that much and she's away this weekend so isn't going but my other friend who's due in July is going. She told me she was pg at the end of jan and I've actually not seen her since (not purposely avoiding her just never been at the same things since). This is her 3rd and wasn't planned so I initially found her news really hard! I got over it though and then when I got the bfp I was so pleased as there would only be 3or4 months between our little ones (most of my friends have all had their kids). None of the girls know about the MC and will be hard to see them all today but I'm looking forward to seeing them so will out a brave face on!
Your both putting me to shame with your early morning runs! I did walk the dog for an hour though so that's my exercise for the day!x

I hope you enjoy seeing your friends missdeedee. We're off retro bowling today and then out for dinner tonight, so got a lovely day ahead. I hope you get through the lunch, I'd find it tough, but once you've done it once I guess it'll get a little bit easier. I'm actually dreading somebody telling me that they are pregnant. It's totally selfish and irrational but I want it to be me. What has happened to me?!
13/04/2013 at 11:55
MissDD - I hope you can enjoy your lunch today. Don't feel bad for being upset that they are pregnant and you aren't, its normal and it doesn't make you a bad person.
Imp - I could have written that myself. I've had 3 people recently tell me they are pg and its super tough. The 3rd one broke me, luckily it was by text message so I could have a good cry. It will be our turn again soon but in the meantime we just have to allow ourselves to feel the way we do. It doesn't mean that we aren't happy for people who do get pg, its just that we want it so much for ourselves. Have a good day - sounds great.

Hope everyone's having a good Saturday. Gillsy, I hope the next couple of weeks goes by quickly for you! Miss DD I hope you are okay, and that the lunch isn't too hard for you. Big hugs to you and Gillsy and Imp as well, I really feel for you ladies.
AFM bit of a weird one today, am CD9, the last few months I've got a positive OPK (CBD smiley) between CD15-18, but I got a smiley face this morning. The test strip looked like it had run, so I'm wondering if it's a false positive. I did another 20 mins after and there was no smiley although could be that it was too soon after last one. Confusing! Trying not to get too worked up over it though- if it was a false positive, hopefully I'll get a smiley later in the month and know either way.

Hey Rose, thanks xx
I'd test again later today if you can and DTD just incase but it does sound a bit strange that its come so early and the test looked a bit weird.

Gillsy and Imp - hope you're both ok today and that the symptom spotting isn't driving you totally crazy!
Miss DD, sometimes I get slightly achy hips around ovulation, its normal for me. So hopefully like the others said, it's just your body getting back into the swing of things.
Rose, did you work out what was going on with your opks?
FF has just declared me 5dpo so I'm joining the symptom-spotting club!l This is only the 2nd time I've been on the 2ww in 5 months. I really want this to happen now and can't think how I'm going to keep myself suitably distracted for 9 more days. :-(

Hello ladies. I'm back on UK soil (just on final train out of London!). Had a fantastic week on Vienna (plus brief stopovers in Zurich, Cologne & Brussels). CD31 but possibly only 4-8says POV. If I am pregnant, the no-carrying heavy items rule would be interesting ..... Ive just carried backpack on back, LO in sling on front, handbag on arm and dragged LO's Trunkie behind me. Needless to say I'm bit tired. H meeting me on platform at other end!! I hope everyone doing okay. Just off to read up on all the gossip :-)
14/04/2013 at 10:58
I'm managing to get past the symptom spotting. It will be a long 2 weeks though lol.
That's good news if you are in the 2ww -5dpo is nearly half way too!!!!!

Hey HF, sorry I missed you there. Sounds like a fab trip you've had. Glad you are back safe.
Fingers crossed for you Mrs.

I am literally driving myself mad with symptom spotting, even though deep down I've just got a feeling it's not going to happen for us this month. I cannot wait until next weekend as I will hopefully know either way by then.
Has a great time at the bowling, plus I won! I'm really competitive and I'm not a good loser so it's probably for the best! Haha! I also ate and drank way too much yesterday, subsequently i'm feeling a bit slow today!
14/04/2013 at 13:27
Hi HF, glad you had a good time in Vienna.
Gillsy, love your new avatar.
Imp, well done on winning! Sorry that the symptom spotting is driving you mad - I totally sympathise!
14/04/2013 at 13:35
Imp - I'm with you on the symptoms even though I'm trying to distract myself and forget about it. Well done winning yesterday. So glad you had a good day.
Penny - thanks, felt like a change of pic and a chocolate heart seems really apt for me.

Hello ladies, sorry I've not been about much recently. I promise to be a better TTC'er! I think I am currently 3dpo and only on cd22 which means I could be on track for a 'normal' cycle (woohoo!!)
I was incredibly ill in the early hours this morning (both ends :'( and felt like I was dying!!) so I'm off work today and feeling sorry for myself, worst thing is that I'm feeling really hungry after throwing up so much but when I had some toast earlier the pukey feeling came back so i've not risked eating anything again since!
14/04/2013 at 16:41
I hope you feel better soon PS. Make sure you keep your fluids up, you don't want to end up dehydrated.
There's a good few of us in the 2ww now, we can all go mad symptom spotting together.
