Hi all! How was everyone's week? Do anything exciting for the weekend?
We went to look at wood floor and carpets at the weekend. We're moving house hopefully this month and everywhere has red carpet. Bleurgh. So we're thinking of putting wood floor down in the dining room and either wood floor or neutral carpet in the living room. Think we've agreed on a colour we like so we just need to move and decide whether we are fitting it ourselves and whether to get solid wood or engineered wood. Scan tomorrow and I'm feeling fairly positive about it, but I'm sure by tomorrow I will be really nervous. H has taken the whole day off so that he can come with me and doesn't have to leave straight after. Wish us luck.

MS - good luck tomorrow. Our house has almost exclusively red carpet too, when we moved in most of the walls were varying shades of terracotta so I'm sure you can imagine how fetching a combination that was! We've never quite gotten around to replacing the carpets though.
I am having such a rough time, I'm approaching breaking point :( violent sickness suddenly kicked in last week at 15 weeks. I've only managed to go to work one day this year (last Tues), the doctor gave me some anti sickness tablets which worked for a couple of days but now don't seem to be doing much so I think I'll be going back tomorrow to see if there's anything else. I just can't function at all. We had my mum staying this weekend and I've been absolutely rubbish company, we did plan to have a belated Christmas dinner but that idea went right out of the window. I think my baby hates me!

MS - So many vibes coming your way for tomorrow! Good news (although v. stressful!) on the house move too!
ST - I have no advice to offer on the morning sickness front but you have all my sympathy, it must be awful. Definitely go back to the doctor, I hope they can give you something to help.
AFM - We picked up our nursery furniture on Saturday, we can hopefully start building it all this weekend. Although, our pram is ordered from the same place and as yet there is no sign of it but trying not to panic, we still have lots of time!

Afternoon all! Haven't been on the tri threads for a while due to S developing an infatuation with my phone and me having to hide it to avoid a tantrum!
MS - we had a similar thing in our house when we bought it except all carpets were varying shades of blue. So we all the walls (apart from the hall that was lime green and yellow!) It makes me question what people were thinking when they decorate sometimes! Wishing you lots of luck for your scan tomorrow, will be thinking of you.
ST - oh no, your sickness sounds awful. Did you have much in 1st tri at all? I hope the doctor can help you and you feel better soon x
WW - things are coming together now, eh?! Don't worry about your pram though, you have plenty of time left.
JJ - hi!!!
AFM - am having random bursts of huge amounts of energy, then crashing halfway through the day, ha! Am also sooooo hormonal, poor H. I don't remember being this bad when pg with S, maybe it's a girl?!? We had a fun weekend test driving cars as we need something bigger than what we have at the moment. It's so much fun driving them but making a decision is HARD. After we've sorted it out though it will be full steam ahead for preparing for this baby so I think we are procrastinating just a little too much because driving two of them around in a huge car is too scary a thought atm.
*buries head back in the sand*
hi to all that follow :)

ST- how's the morning sickness? Hope you're okay?
Woowoo- any sign of your pram?
JJ- hi! Hope you're both okay?
Popcorn- I find car shopping quite stressful. We have a Citroen C4 Picasso. It has three full sized seats in the back so plenty of room for car seats and also plenty of room for pushchairs in the boot. Once babies are here it will be my car full time and H will be swooping my micra in for something more suited to a 6 foot 1 man. Hehe.

Room for a little one?
10 days ago I found out I'm expecting #2 , E turns 1 tomorrow!
Currently 5+4, still feeling ok for now.
MS, hope all went well at the scan.
ST, hope the morning sickness has done one now.
Popcorn, did you have any joy with the new car?

MrsP that's a sneaky little BFP announcement! Congratulations :) and happy birthday to E for tomorrow x
We bought a nissan qashqai and pick it up on Sunday this weekend. I'm very excited but quite nervous about driving something so much bigger than what we have. Currently drive a mazda 2 which is so nippy and light (and tiny) so I'm quite grateful that the new car has parking cameras! As soon as we pick it up we are driving straight to H's aunts house for a birthday party and she has a really tricky drive which will require some kind of three point turn *sob*
What's everyone else up to this weekend?

Ooh I like the qashqai, I'm sure you'll get used to it in no time x

MrsPenguin - Congratulations! Have you got any plans for E's birthday?
Popcorn - New car sounds lovely. H drives a big car and I drive it sometimes, will be my full time car once the new little boys are here. It also has reversing cameras and it makes it so much easier!
AFM - Met up with a couple of friends today for lunch. It was lovely. Got my Brother, SIL, Nephew and Mum coming over for lunch tomorrow, so were going to have a busy house.
