Hi everyone! How was everybody's weekend? Congeatulations to DumbleSpud on her BA!
We went to see some friends yesterday who have a 3yr old and 18mnth twins. It's always great fun seeing them and seeing how well they cope with their 3.
We are going swimming with my mum later today. Dexter loves being in the water just like his mummy.
Ive been feeling definite kicks/movements this week. It's lovely to feel them moving. My bump is massive already this time. I was struggling to get comfortable in bed last night. we did have Chinese for tea though so I think I was probably full of food.
Hi to everyone that follows!

Good luck for your MW appointment JJ. I don't see why they wouldn't let you use the MLU. I would have loved to have used the pool last time but I was induced and on monitors a lot of the time. I don't think induction automatically stops you using the pool, but my waters had gone 24hrs before and no sign of labour starting so I couldn't use the pool because of risk of infection. I agree that maternity leave is expensive business. They are identical. They share a placenta but their amniotic sacs are separated by a membrane.

Ms-bless the twins!
JJ-I agree about the shopping and maternity leave! I am going to go in tom to be induced, eek! In my hosp you cant use MLU if induced but that may vary. Probably last thread I write on before BA!

MS - exciting stuff that you can feel them kicking now.
JJ - how was your appointment? Were the able to clear things up for you about MLU?
Rio - I hope by now you have your baby in your arms and that all is going well.
AFM - I had my 37 week scan and cons yesterday to discuss my fluid levels. Very very pleased with the outcome that despite still having polyhydramnios the levels have come down ever so slightly, so I'm just borderline. So, the cons is happy for me to go into labour naturally and not need inducing early. Current back up plan is a cons appt at 41+3 if I haven't delivered but due to my labour with M and current conditions, he's pretty confident I'll have my baby by then. It seems so surreal, I've been focussing so much on yesterday's appointment I don't think I'd properly realised how close things were getting. Otherwise. other than feeling heavy and baby still kicking away at me loads, all is well. Next mw is at 39 weeks - which is also scary to think that's after Christmas and things will be getting even closer.
Hope you're all well.

I've been AWOL recently due to a nice trip to the Christmas markets in Bremen, Germany and then my mum having her knee replaced so I've been backwards and forwards to the hospital visiting her. All settled now though so hopefully will be able to get on here a little more regularly.
MS - hiiiii! How lovely to be feeling all those kicks now, I bet it feels like a football match in there with two of them :)
JJ - I was unable to use the pool when I was induced but it was the same as MS and my waters had been gone for ages so infection, monitors blah blah. I think if you were just to have the pessary and you got going from that then the pool would be fine. Fingers crossed that's the case for you. Lovely buying baby clothes, that's what maternity leave is for!
Rio - hopefully you're having squishy cuddles now, awwwwww xxx
sapphire - glad your levels have come down, not long now!
AFM - belly has really popped and am feeling more movements although having an anterior placenta and a toddler focussed on walking means I don't notice it as much. Finally bought something for this poor second child - a teeny tiny vest, ha! We have loads from S so we won't go mad with clothes but I felt baby needed a little attention :) I can't believe how small newborn stuff is! Also got a bargain on some preloved teeny cloth nappies so the baby now has one vest and four nappies. Winner!
