It is a while now since I was in this situation but to be honest anything to do with the pregnancy conversation wsie annoye me unless it was intitated by me as I wanted to talk about other things as well and I remember that the only thing anyone wanted to talk about was the pregnancy....

So true, each and every one!

I haven't had many of these actually. I've had 'are you tired? Well wait until you have the baby, then you'll know what tiredness is.' And 'the tiredness wears off after the 1st tri, you'll be back to normal 2nd tri.' Yep, I'm 20 weeks, and tired, but thanks for that!
My favourite this week though was a work colleague who I barely know telling me not to plan to return to work because as soon as I have the baby ill change my mind. When I said I won't I was given a patronising smile and shake of the head, and a 'you just wait' comment. What really annoys me is she barely knows me and no one would say that to a man who was due to become a father.

All of those are horrible, but bizarrely, the thing that has been annoying me the most recently is the incessant "how are you feeling," and "are you okay?" I was setting out some folding chairs today at work and someone asked if I should be doing it. I'm pregnant, my arms haven't fallen off!

I received very little support from my Ex whilst I was suffering a lot during pregnancy so was desperate for any sympathy. But I was ill whilst pregnant not suffering because I was pregnant IYSWIM?
