I got my bfp on Saturday, following a longer than usual lp, but this evening whilst getting ready to go to bed, I discovered some pinky brown cm - is this a common thing?
I did have some spotting a couple of days early last week, but that seemed to stop.....
Any advice gratefully received x

I know I'm not 1st tri, but when I got my bfp, I had this. I think it's just implantation. If it's brown, then it's old blood, so try not to worry! And Congratulations!!

Congratulations Rebajay!! Lovely news.
Yes that's really common, this bfp I didn't know where I was in my cycle and had pink/brown blood streaked cm when I wiped and that's one of the things that made me test the next day. It's thought to be caused by the egg implanting. Ive had brown blood a few times after that from about 6 weeks and even a red bleed on sat but all is still fine. The brown blood in 1st Tri is thought to be quite 'normal' as everything's stretching and moving about and it's not unexpected to cause some bleeding.
There's a few of us on the 1st Tri threads if you want to post xx

Thanks ladies..... I hate being all panicky. Think I'm just still trying to believe I got the BFP, and then got all freaked last night when that happened....started googling and freaked even more, as ya do.

Sorry not 1st tri, just had to comment :) many congratulations and like the others have said this is quite common, but nonetheless worrying. Here's to the remaining months being uneventful :) congrats again.

Hey rebajay, glad it's stopped today. Hopefully that's the end of it now and you'll have an uneventful 8 months left. As the others have said, it's fairly normal but still worrying. If you want to join us over on 1st tri you'll soon see that loss of people have random things happen to them. It helps make you feel more normal.x

I had some pinky-brown cm at about 5 weeks with O. It can be quite common. Glad it's stopped and congratulations x

Thanks ladies, sorry I've been at work and don't have access to forums whilst there.
So last nights cm was not much, a little on 'hands head in shame' a tampon - a streak. This evening when got home, after wiping a little on Tissue, so tried the quick in/out tampon trick and there was more, though same pale creamy old blood - no red or pink - and not soaked just a bit more than last night. Question is how much did you, ladies that had the pink browny discharge, actually have and over how long? If you don't mind me asking?
