how are we all, Isaac was 14 months yesterday , he's growing up way too fast for my liking
he weighs 24.5lbs which is bloody ridiculous, I'm not concerned about his weight at all, I know his diet is healthy (apart from the Easter eggs ), he just likes his grub.
teethwise he has 6 and one on the way....so the biting has started again, iv noticed he biters when he has a tooth coming, I can't believe I'm mummy to a biter , we are still going with a very stern NO and removing him and signing NO, thankfully its only been me h the cm and a random woman and no babies, but I watch hhim like a hawk! Little toad!
sleepwise he's fine at night, he's at the stage where he's dropping his afternoon nap,but still needs it iyswim as afternoons/early evenings tend to be very very grumpy times
he's not quite walking, he has done about 4 independent steps and will stand independently in the room totally unsupported but will he walk...will he heck!
Speech wise he's actually quite good , maybe he will be like me (a lazy chatterbox ), words wise we have 'mama' 'dada' 'weeeeeeeeeees' (he shouts this at Lucas so we assume its Lucas), 'gan-gaaah' (grandad), 'boo' (when we hide) 'doh' (dog) 'caaaaah' (car) 'guck' (duck)'hiya' 'bye bye' (always accompanied with a very OTT wave. He signs elephant, bird and no (sadly he knows no all too well as I'm forever saying no to him!) if you say 'what do monkeys do?' He will go 'ooo ooo ooo' and if you say 'what do lions do?' He shouts 'ahhhhhhrrrrrrrrrr'
he and Lucas play lovely together, they often 'wrestle' which results in tears from both some of the time and its a sign of things to come as they get older, but Isaac is now playing with a lot if Ls toys. He loves his kitchen and he has a real fascination with helicopters and we have as an ELC helicopter that he plays with for hours.
How are the 2012 babies doing
03/04/2013 at 09:13
Wow he looks SO grown up (and v cute!) - its amazing how much they change in a year isn't it?! Walking, talking, eating - completly different to my 2012 baby lol!!
R is 16 week today - just makes it in as a 2012 baby lol! No idea where those weeks have gone though, its going so much faster this time compared to with A. No idea how much he weighs - he was 12lbs 12oz at 12 weeks, must get to clinic at some point for a weigh in but not easy with A in tow as well! He is so lovely and smiley and chats (well coo's) all the time now,and is starting to do proper laughs.i love this age, they are little people with personalities but don't run away from you just yet! He is desperate to roll over and probably would have done by now if he got to spend more time on the playmat but with A crashing around its a bit limited (poor 2nd child). Sleeping was good until the last week or so when he has started waking 3 times in the night (probably 16 week GS). A loves him - and he really laughs and smiles at A which is so lovely.
erm think thats about it really! wil try a photo but don't think I can ever manage to upload to here....

It's lovely to hear how well all the babies are doing!
F will be 14 months next week. I just can't believe how grown up he's becoming. He has the most wonderful little personality and makes me laugh all the time.
I'm losing count of how many teeth he now has as they seem to be popping up all over the place! I think we're at about 11 but a couple of those are not fully through yet. CP, F does also seem to bite when teething. It bloomin' hurts, doesn't it?
I haven't had him weighed since his birthday and he was 21lbs 13oz. I'd like to try to take him in the next couple of weeks.
F is now also officially a walker and we got him measured for his first pair of shoes the other day. He seems to have taken to walking in them quite well and had a great time running in the garden yesterday!
Speech wise, he's a bit of a chatterbox and babbles all day long. He says "Daaaa" for daddy and I'm "Mumum" but he only refers to me when he's tired! He waves bye, claps, does the little covering his mouth for "oops" and leans in for kisses.
What else...oh, his favourite things are peas and having a bath!

CP, - Isaac is such a gorgeous cheeky monkey!! Sounds like he is doing amazingly!
GF - So glad everything is going well...16 weeks is a lovely ages as their little personalities are starting to shine through! Great that A has such a good relationship with him too!
AFM...Well, Oliver is 1 today Where did that year go? We're just going swimming and having lunch out today as the weather is so miserable, and then a big party for family and friends this coming Sunday with a bouncy castle and soft play! This time last year we were still in shock over his rapid arrival, this year he has opened his presents and is now fast asleep again from all the excitement! He is doing really well, took his first steps at 10.5 months and is now confidently walking inside and has started to have a toddle outside for short periods now he has his first shoes (mainly around the garden which he is loving!) He can stand from sitting really well, and after learning to walk he finally decided to give up the commando crawling and actually discovered he can move faster on his hands and knees Though walking is his preferred mode of transport!
He weighed 23lb 3oz about a month ago, and just going into 12-18 month bits (though trousers have plenty of growing room!!) He loves his grub, and only things we've tried so far that he doesn't like are grapefruit (understandable!!) and satsuma!
We have 12 teeth (just waiting on canines now!), with the 4 1st molars all coming in the space of 2 weeks (cue MINOS for the duration!) Speech wise he does Mama, Dad Dad and Daddy, yum, yeah (well, this is Essex ) and gat (at our Cat!! Haha!). He really is a happy, smiley little man!
Here are a couple of pics of him from recently!

WG - Missed you there! F is simply gorgeous...I love the pics of him toddling in the garden in his shoes! MD/Hitched babies are simply the most stunning children! xx
Aw, all the babies are gorgeous, and all seem to be doing so well.
Jacob is 9 1/2 months now, and is thoroughly gorgeous, in my hugely biased opinion! He's commando crawling everywhere (favourite target is the cat's water bowl, which he likes to get his hands into, and up-end for some messy play.) He can also pull himself up to standing on the sofa, and is thinking about cruising. The pulling himself up to standing he can only do from sitting though, and he can't get himself into a sit on his own (probably because he hates sitting and doesn't do it, so has no motivation to learn.) so currently we're fairly safe on the cruising front, but I don't think it'll be long before he's doing it without me sitting him up first. He's got 7 teeth, and also likes to bite, but he only bites my left shoulder, just the clothing not through to skin, while I'm carrying him, so at the moment it's not too much of an issue, he's getting a firm "no" when he does it though. He's becoming much more vocal recently, we've had lots and lots of dadadadadad noises, and a few mamas, but the mamas are always when he's crying, whereas the dadas are all when he's happy. I don't think either are anything other than him trying out noises just yet. Seep wise we've had a rough last 6 months, it's lots and lots of night wakings, night feeds, and lots of co- sleeping to try to get some sleep. In the last week we've started formal sleep plan with him (we reached the end of our tether with lack of sleep and brought in a sleep consultant - I hated the thought of sleep training but it's very gentle and doesn't involve controlled crying at all) and so far the plan seems to be working really well, he's slept through 3 nights out of the last 4, and we're getting our evening back at last instead of yo-yoing back and forth to the nursery trying to settle a crying Jacob. In honour of the new sleeping here he is this morning sleeping in his cot. (I cannot tell you how exciting a daytime cot sleep is after 9 1/2 months of me feeding to sleep and then being trapped under him for every single daytime nap!)

Michael is 15 weeks now and as lovely as ever. He's a healthy 14lb baby but apparently that still makes him 'average' in baby size as he is quite long. He's a strong and sturdy little man, very different to how his floppy, lazy sister was. He likes to stand holding hands ALL of the time, he has to be sitting upright otherwise- I think he's just nosey and he especially likes to watch what Ella is getting up to! He naps well, twice during the day and sleeps through the night most nights. I don't feed him when he does wake and he usually goes back to sleep pretty quickly with a little cuddle or a suck on a dummy. He's moving around a bit which is funny, he can roll front to back and back to front and when he lays on his back will push his feet down and move around the floor! His play mats and blankets slide on the tiles so it's easy for him to move them
His sister is very good with him but if she doesn't want him involved in something or feels he is getting too much attention she often tells me to put him to bed

Lovely babies everyone. I love to see how they're all getting on. S is now 13 months. He is adorable, doesn't say a lot, he's a bit of a grunter, but he's much more advanced in the physical side than E was at this age.
He's got 8 teeth, 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom, and i think we might have another couple of bottom ones on the way judging by the way he's slobbering all the time.
I love watching him and E playing together, he quite likes her dolls, and pushchairs, but then he's also into his cars. He adores his big sister though and follows her around like a shadow. She on the other hand isn't too much of a fan of his, she's not into sharing, and quite likes to take her toys off him and remind him that everything is Eleanor's.
Food wise, he'll eat anything and everything, but he's not particularly big, he's still wearing his 9-12 month stuff, any bigger and it burys him.
He's been walking since a week before his first birthday and must walk miles throughout the day, he doesn't do sitting anymore. With S though i feel as though i've had a baby, he's cuddly, and definately a mummy's boy. E was just too independant from about 9 months old.
Anyway, here are a couple of pics of my little man

Whoops, those pictures are huge, sorry ladies

I'm glad everyone is getting on well, lovely photo's too.
M will be 11 months next Thursday!! She is doing really well, we had her 8-12 month check yesterday, she's 20lb 7oz and 75cm's long. She's filling her 12-18 months clothes nicely with next to no room to spare. She has 7 teeth so far with the last one coming through nearly 5 weeks ago so wondering where number 8 is. She crawls everywhere and gets into everything we have hard floors downstairs so she often has bruised knees bless her, she's started pulling herself up on the furniture too. She claps, waves, copies some noises and recently very clearly said ta (after me saying to her constantly for weeks when giving her things) her favourite game is pulling faces which is so cute. If she want something to eat drink or something we have she'll open and close both hand and shout at us, she gets really angry if you don't give her food little monkey! She loves her brother to bits and follows him around the house it's lovely seeing them playing together. I can't believe she's one next month!

What gorgeous babies MDers make!
A is now 10 months. I can't believe she's going to be 1 next month
She is generally a very contented baby. I haven't had her weighed for a while but would estimate she's around the 22-23lb mark. She loves her food and will try anything we put in front of her. The only thing she doesn't seem to like are eggs. No matter how they're cooked she won't eat them.
She can say mama, dada, mine, nana, bobo (bottle) and shakes her head for no. I think she's going to be a late walker as she just doesn't seem to want to stand up/walk. She tries pulling herself up on things and then gets stuck halfway and starts moaning so i think she's getting a little frustrated. Hoping it will just click one day and then she probably won't look back! She loves playing telephone and will put her toy phone to her ear if we say 'hello'. She can also clap and wave
Sleepwise she's brilliant. She will go to bed around 8pm and sleep until 7am the next day. We have 2 teeth and 2 on their way through.
J is fantastic with her and I love watching them play together. You can tell she loves him. She will get all excited watching for him coming out of school and look for him in the morning when she gets up.
Now for some photos. Apologies if you've seen these on FB.

Ah, they are all so cute!
R is 13 months and is such a happy little thing. She crawls, cruises and whizzes round with her walker (laughing her head off at the same time!) but hasn't quite got the confidence to walk yet. She is very chatty and babbly but doesn't have proper words yet other than 'uh oh'!
She has 12 teeth already, and together with her mega hair this makes her look much older than she is. I have no idea how much she weighs but she's in her 12-18 clothes which fit fine apart from being a bit long.
Her sleep is generally good, although she gets up earlier than I would like (6-6.30am - I thought the clock change may have reset her but no such luck!). She is down to one nap per day now, which is up to 1.5 hours at home but less at nursery. Now I'm back at work she is loving nursery, and never cries when I leave her or pick her up. They are always telling me how giggly she is, which is lovely.
And here's a pic of Super Rosa at WH's Sammy's birthday party (superhero fancy dress...)

Such gorgeous babies AND TODDLERS!!!!!!!!!!, how did that happen?!?!?! I love these threads!
P is 13 months now and such a fabulous little person. She is cheerful and chatty and very busy all of the time! She speed crawls and cruises about but not quite walking at the moment. Here speech is good and she says mumma, dadda, dog, raff (giraffe), Booooo (my horse, called Blue), yesssss and no. She never says just no though, it's either no no no or no and holds up her hand to stop you in your path. She's quite an opinionated young lady (no idea where she gets it from!). She points and waves and adores animals. She can point at the different animals on her wall and pick different ones out of her happyland zoo. She LOVES her books and spends hours sat with them leafing through pages looking at the pictures and laughing. When she touches an animal (really or toy) she says 'ahhhhhhh' and strokes them. She also does that to H's legs when he's got shorts on in the morning.
She's got 6 teeth and some more on the way i think as she's been biting everything she can, including H! Her sleep is still good 13/14 hours a night and before she was ill last week she was starting to drop to one nap a day but that's gone a bit backwards as i think she's still recovering from the virus. She eats EVERYTHING she can get her mits on but is still little. Her 12-18month clothes are all rolled up still bless her and she's got a good few inches left in her pebble car seat!
A photo from the weekend...

Such beautiful babies and toddlers!
S is 23 wks today and doing brilliantly. She's just started to sit up unaided and even said her first proper word 'hat' a few days ago. She's loving shaking and banging things with everything going in her mouth; great for BLW! Just starting to get my head around the weaning process with a milk intolerant child, but she's desperate to have some proper food (and so would I if I had to drink her milk. Yuck!) She loves watching her big sister and I think she'll move more quickly than she did. Not sure about her weight, but guessing at least 16lb now. She's huge compared to how tiny her sister is!
This is S on the weekend:

I love these catch up threads, well done for starting this cp.
Isobelle was 14 months yesterday. She's been walking for just under a month now & barely crawls anywhere (I had to teach her how to stand up from the floor though). I completely understand why they're called toddlers as she often looks quite drunk as she walks & it doesn't help that her favourite expression of 'oh dear', is now 'beer!'. She has 6 teeth, which seem to be coming 2 a month so not expecting any more till the end of this month hopefully. She's totally obsessed with books & a few times a day she will have got every single book of the shelf in her room & the living room & read them once. As she can walk she now brings them to me 1 at a time. Her favourites are Dear Zoo - she's very delicate with them, & the 'That's not my...' books - especially the puppy one. Speaking of dogs she is also obsessed with them & shouts 'do(g)' every time she sees 1 & tries to turn around & follow it, which is fun. I remarked to my H the other day (when we were on an Easter egg hunt & there were lots of dogs around) that she reminds me of when they dress ET up as a ghost & he's distracted by everything he sees. She says some other things like boo (peekaboo) & uuuuup (up) regularly but other words like mama, dad, bear, pear & car she says occasionally. I put Peppa Pig on about a month ago so I could get some work done & she now loves it. She said Peppa a few days after watching it & I was worried that she was going to say Mummy Pig before she said Mummy to me. Despite us signing to her since she was 8 months she hasn't used a single sign & prefers to point at things.
I'm amazed at her understanding sometimes as she will respond to things like getting her favourite toys or books & brushing her teeth. She eats well & drinks lots of water. She has lots of favourite food but 1 of the funniest things is when we going shopping we buy her grapes & last time we weighed them at the beginning & again before we left & discovered that she'd eaten 200g worth!! She still loves her breast milk but she's finally started to drink some cows milk which is a good start, which will hopefully mean I can stop expressing at work soon. I'm now only getting her weighed every 3 months so her last weigh in was when she had just turned 1 & she was 17.5 lbs so still quite small which means she's still in her 6-9 month clothes (& a few 3-6 month clothes!), had to exchange a lot of birthday presents that we 1 - 1 1/2 as she probably won't be in them until winter. Although she is in her 2nd pair of shoes from a 2F to a 3E.
She was sleeping really well, waking between 7- 7.30, then about a week before the clocks went forward this seemed to become 6 - 6.30, then we had 3 nights of 2 -4 am waking where she was wide awake. This morning she didn't wake until 7 so I'm hoping that we're back on track. I was concerned that she'd had a cough for more than 2 months so I took her back to the doctors but apparently the cough that's currently doing the rounds is lasting 6-8 weeks so hopefully we're near the end of it now. Although it hasn't stopped her doing anything she enjoys including swimming, she's a real water baby & can 'swim' & move herself forward by kicking her legs & splashing her arms when in a foam noodle.
