Not sure who's still around as I think a few of us have moved up to 2nd Tri now.
Hope you all had good weekends? Did you get up to much? We had the results back for the survey for our new house and they are not good. So much major work that needs doing and the house has had subsidence in the past. So we have decided to drop out of buying it and look for somewhere else. We spent all day yesterday looking on rightmove and driving by some places. We think we may have found somewhere. So hoping to view it tonight or tomorrow. Not much else planned for this week other than house hunting. I've still got some MS and opening the fridge is a real struggle. I have to hold my breathe.
How is everyone else doing? Any plans for Halloween?

Hi MS - That's a shame about the house, but i suppose it's better to know about it now! Hope you find somewhere!
AFM - Got my scan on Thursday which i'm looking forward to, but also naturally a bit nervous about too. MS is leaving slowly but surely! Definitely having more good days than bad now, which i'm grateful for, although it would appear that baby doesn't like crisps or chips :-( they seem to trigger sickness more than anything else! Had a very clingy boy this weekend, which is very unlike him.
Finally got my bathroom back up and running! H installed the shower holder and curtain on Sunday and i can finally have a proper shower instead of standing in the bath holding it about my head!
Don't think we're doing anything for halloween, although i'm going to have to make sure we've got sweets and the likes in for any children that may come to the door. Also need to carve a pumpkin! Haven't done that in years! :-)

Hi RKB. Good luck for your scan on Thursday. I know what you mean about being nervous. Glad that the MS seems to be leaving. How can anybody not like chips and crisps? Haha.
Have fun carving the pumpkin. I always get too many sweets and end up eating them. This year we are going to be grumpy and put a note on the door asking for no trick or treaters as baby is sleeping.

Hi all. I've got my scan next Tuesday, I think I will be about 14 weeks by then so it seems to have taken ages to come round. Had my bloods taken last week by midwife and promptly fainted afterwards. I really can't do needles :-(
I haven't had morning sickness really, but this week I have 'throw up everything before bed' sickness. Nice.

Hi CRL! 14 weeks seems late for your first scan. I bet the last couple of weeks have really dragged for you. I don't like needles much either. I can't watch when they do it. Hope you didn't hurt yourself when you fainted. Good luck for your scan next Tuesday!

It really has dragged, I didn't get my booking appointment till 10 weeks though as my doctors were so rubbish I changed surgeries before I booked it (glad I did!). I make it nearly 14 weeks, but might be a bit out. Can't wait for the scan now, if only to give me peace of mind that there is only one in there! And we want to start guessing what flavour it is (doing our nub and skull theory homework!). I managed to get out of the doctors, go to McDonalds for a coffee, and pass out on the table. I knew it would happen, I have a delayed reaction to things like that. Just need to sit somewhere quiet and wait for it to happen!
I feel for you with the fridge sickness! I'm finding the smell of OH's car too much, I gag as soon as I open the door. I'm fine in my clapped out mucky old Fiesta though bizaarely. Also having to put my hand in a mix of mealworms and dried whitebait for the rats dinner is interesting, I have to hold my breath the whole time and not look.
Good luck with the househunting!

Hi everyone.......I'm tentatively saying hello as recently found out number two is on the way. Still doesn't feel real and tbh I'm not convinced its real! I'm currently talking H into booking an early scan to reassure myself :)

Hi! How far along are you?
22/10/2014 at 18:12
About 6 weeks - I was nearly 8 weeks when I found out last time so didn't seem as long to wait for things to start moving - got my booking in appointment next week so that's somethin! Is this your first one?
22/10/2014 at 18:22
Welcome la1510! Congratulations. I know what you mean about the first Tri dragging. It's really hard to believe there is a baby in there until you see them! I've booked an early scan for that reason.

Yes it's my first one. The first trimester really is dragging, I'm 13 weeks, got my first scan next Tuesday, but I didn't get my booking appointment till 10 weeks as I changed doctors so it feels like I have waited forever! I'm still not convinced there is a baby in there!

Baby RKB is all present and correct! I've been put forward 5 days to 12+5! (they put me forward 4 days with W) Baby was wriggling and giving the sonographer a hard time while they tried to get the measurements, but everything looks fine! :-)
Hi and welcome to La1510!
23/10/2014 at 11:44
Ooh RKB are you due 2 May? I *think* I am 12+6 today due 1 May so you are day behind me? Though my scan might tell me I am completely wrong.
23/10/2014 at 13:42
I am CRL! But as i'll be going for an elective section, it'll probably be the week before that, So baby will probably be born in April. But i'll be 40 weeks on the 2nd of May! :-)
23/10/2014 at 14:21
Hi ! Aaaaah congratulations RKB glad all is present and correct :) just a quick question, how many weeks were you all when pregnancy symptoms started kicking in?
23/10/2014 at 15:16
Thank you La1510!
I was 6 weeks with my first before i felt unwell, and I was about 5 and a half weeks when i started to feel unwell this time, but it wasn't until I was 6 weeks that the sickness really took off.
