Hi, I had my 21 week scan yesterday and everything looked great until the very end when the sonographer mentioned something about the posterior ventricle measuring upper normal at 10.2mm. She said I would have to come back for a re-scan in 2 weeks time and said not to panic and definitely not to google anything! She also put a red dot sticker inside my maternity notes and wrote L/S on it....what the heck does that even mean? Why can't they just be open and tell us what is going on? Of course I googled it and now I have absolutely scared the wits out of myself. I'm 38 with a BMI of 31. If anyone has any experience of this or can shed any light, I would so appreciate your help.

Hi I didn't want to read and run. I'm afraid I don't know about the measurements relating to your scan. I just wanted to see how you are and whether you have found out anymore by talking to other people. The Internet can be a great help but also a bit scary giving duff info. I hope you have a positive outcome and that your little one is all ok xxx
