I just got back from my 21week scan and measurements were fine but baby was facing my spine on her head so they couldnt get a proper measurement of the front of her face/head. I've got to go back for another scan and the soonest they could get was the 27th June. Is this normal? Has anyone else had to go back for another scan? I'm a bit worried. x x :\?

Im sure everything is ok so try not to worry its obviously just the babies position because i nearly had to go back i was told to leave the scan room and have a walk and something to eat then go back and my baby had moved because they couldnt see the heart properly but luckily all was ok when i went back as she had moved. look on the bright side... u get an extra scan!! lucky u, take care xx hannah

I also had this at my 20 week scan and baby wouldn't move or turn so I had to return at 22 weeks and sure enough, she had moved enough to do the measurements. Don't worry about this, baby is just being a little bit awkward!!

    Hi

I had this when went for my scan at 21 weeks, baby was in awkward position, had to have a drink and go for a walk, went back still not moved, went for another walk moved just long enough for her to measure head then moved back lol. If it hadnt have moved I would have had to go back.
Its nothing to worry about just baby being awkward, at least you get to see it again
