    PM

    Morning everyone.

Went to a friends BBQ yesterday, which was good., we were there from 2pm and when we went to leave at 9:30pm none of them understood why we were going early. They didn't get the whole pregnant and only sober one! It is a half hour drive too.

Tidying up the house today then going to the in laws for dinner. Anyone else up to anything interesting?

    Hi Bunny,

Was just about to start a thread & you beat me too it! It's not so much fun when everyone is drinking & you have to remain sober. Hope you enjoy today.

AFM: I think I've started nesting early!! We're moving our daughter out of the nursery & into the spare room over the summer then pumpkin can have the nursery but since I've finally started the ball rolling & started to move things out of the spare room & have bought wall stickers I couldn't sleep last night for figuring out the finer details of where everything should fit in her new bedroom. So much so that I was still awake & tosing & turning at gone 5. I'm not sure this counts as nesting if it's not for the baby though! Luckily Isobelle obviously realised my insomnia so gave me an extra hour's sleep then usual. Not sure exactly what she did with that hour but she came & woke me up wearing nothing but a nappy & a pair of wellies & half the bath toys were at the bottom of the stairs!! She's also given me her cold so I have a horrible sore throat.

despite that I actually don't feel that bad but don't think we'll be venturing out far today - just some more sorting out I think!!!

Then tomorrow we're seeing some extended family which should be fun, Happy Bank holiday all x x

    Morning ladies

Bunny - it definitely isn't much fun when everyone else is enjoying a drink. I'd have probably even left before you did so not too early in my opinion! Enjoy your dinner later.

BK - I've also been thinking about the new baby's nursery. F will be staying where he is with his furniture so we'll be buying new for this baby. We have one big project ahead though as the other room is currently our dumping ground! Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight.

This morning we're having a lazy one, think H is getting my car cleaned for me! This afternoon we have a family christening to go to, not sure how we're going to get F to sit still but I have some chocolate buttons as a back up! I think tomorrow will be a day at home. I'm trying to take it as easy as I can after my colposcopy last week as I've been reading some horror stories about it all (shouldn't have Googled) and I'm worrying about the results but trying to keep my mind off it all best I can.

    Have a good weekend all.

Bk hope you get a nap today! I don't think you can nest too early! I've been wanting to sort everything out as soon as possible. I think 2nd time round I know what I definitely want and don't need to do so much browsing of options! Maybe that's why you want to sort out isobelles room. Bless her in a nappy and wellies!

WG definitely try and rest as much as possible. Enjoy your christening hopefully the weather is nice where you are.

Mrs l sounds like a lovely day. Hope you get some jeans.

    Hello all,

Happy bank holiday weekend to you all!

Bunny- well done for staying out as late as you did.  I also agree it is not fun being around people who have been drinking.  We are off to a bbq tomorrow so I will no doubt leave early ish too.  Enjoy dinner later.

BK- too cute in a nappy and wellies!  I hope you manage to sleep better tonight.  I too keep thinking about the nursery however hubby has a LOT to do before we are even at that stage yet- the whole house resembles a building site at the moment and I am assured that it will only get worse before it gets better.  My in laws live in France and as they won't be able to see the baby as much as my parents (who live 2 hours away) my mother in law is going to paint a mural on one wall of the nursery.  This won't be done until they come and visit when the baby arrives so there isn't too much we can do in terms of decorating the nursery before that.  What wall stickers have you gone for?  Are you having a theme?

WG- I hope you manage to get some rest today. As hard as it is try not to worry too much.  Thinking of you.

Mrs L- what colour is your bridesmaid dress?  Hope you got another pair of maternity jeans- I really like the ones they have in H and M.

AFM- a very lazy day today.  Catching up on some tv and also aiming to watch Frozen- all of the children and colleagues at school are raving about it so thought it was about time I watched it!  I am also really fancying potato and fruit (although not together) so will shortly make a nice fruit salad and try and convince my hubby that we really do need jacket potatoes for dinner again!

Have a good day all x

Peachy - I really want to see frozen, might have to steal my Nieces copy, she knows all the words haha.

Well no luck with maternity jeans, they only seem to have them in bigger sizes and long leg and I'm a short size 10 haha so have ordered online, hope they come quickly I'm getting fed up,with feeling uncomfortable In my old clothes now. I did buy a few tops for holiday so hope they still fit by the time we go!

Hubby's home so lunch and chill time now x
