I haven't been on here for a few days - i seem to only get posting on a Wednesday when I'm at a computer I can get access to the internet.
How are we all? Have the colds cleared up for the poorly people last week? I'm feeling much better, just getting annoyed by a lingering cough. Other than that I'm doing well. My hip played up last week - could barely walk for 2 days, doc said if it comes back again i'll be referred to physio. I have been expecting them to play up as have always had issues but was hoping it wouldn't happen quite so early.
Other exciting news - i have now got my travel system! Ha, i'm so excited by this!! H's colleague was selling the exact one i wanted (not a very common one, hadn't even seen it in before just looked it from looking on internet) and i'm so pleased with it as it barely looks touched let alone used for 2 years! Perfect condition for about a quarter of the price!
Oh and off to the baby show this weekend so excited about that!

Hey MrsT! (this is quite weird because IRL I AM Mrs T!) yay for travel system! What one is it? Sorry about your hip, hopefully they behave themselves now. We went to a baby show a couple of weeks ago and spent far too much money! Have fun!
I'm 23 weeks today, where on earth is the time going?! I've started getting back trouble which according to the doctor is 'one of those things' and I should expect all sorts of pains and aches now. Marvellous! haha
Hey to everyone else! x

Mrs T what pram did you get? Sorry about your hips...hope the physio works.
Rodders I didn't realise you have back pain. How rubbish!
And for me had two awful nights sleep. I also got my travel system this week and we're nearly done now just a few more bits and bobs!

Well hello to you too MrsT!! We have got the Jané Trider extreme - they sell it on Mothercare website but the 3 stores we went to don't stock it and had never heard of it. Thought it was odd as i personally wouldn't buy a one without trying it. H was being ridiculed at work as we were wizzing round the car park yesterday with it deciding if its definitely what we were after seeing as we hadn't tried it out before. Funny how you can get so excited about things! I imagine we will be spending more than we plan to at the weekend - oh well!
Wow - 23 weeks, time is definitely flying by. I hope you don't get too much aches and pains but i guess we have to expect all sorts. At least you are over half way and can be on countdown now! Its weird to think that we are half way today - like you say, where is the time going?!
The boards are quite quiet at the moment - are you in the facebook group? X

What system did you go for? We (well I!) have been super organised and don't need much else - nice to just have to think about the little bits we still need.
I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight - what is keeping you awake?

I went for a Bugaboo and maxi cosi car seat. Like the Jane prams as well and like you have never seen one in the flesh!

Mrs T - great news on the travel system, i really don't know how we'll ever pick one, there's so much choice! Where is the baby show? I've had a look to see if there's any but can't see any nearby (I'm in Leeds). Oh and yes, there's a FB group, you should come and join us.
Rod - sorry to hear about the back pain, hopefully it'll ease soon.
FM - Boo to no sleep but yay to getting the pram!
AFM - not much to report, counting down to 20 week scan on 4th Nov, sleeping is becoming more difficult due to a tiny bladder and inability to get comfortable but nothing too bad to complain about!

Hi WooWoo. Ah, the baby show is London Olympia. There is another one in London middle of March (clearly you wouldn't be attending!) and a Birmingham one sometime in May i think.
I'd love to join the facebook group - followed the link in the thread to contact FURMUMMY - Oi, message you twice now!!! ;-) no rush but could you let me know if you can add me please?! Thank you X

Ah, yes all the ones I've seen seem to be in London or too far away, I'm surprised there isn't many up North! Oh well, I'm sure I'd only end up buying far too much!

Mrs Teddy Bear - That's very exciting about getting your travel system, my H isn't too keen to buy stuff early on but has said we can go shopping to try some out once we find out if we are having a boy or a girl ;-)
Rod - That's rubbish about your back, hopefully the pain doesn't last for long.
Fur Mummy - Sorry to hear you are having trouble sleeping, I ordered this cushion set for myself yesterday in the hope that it comes in useful once my bump gets a bit bigger. Touch wood I seem to be sleeping okay at the moment apart from waking up loads due to my bladder.
Woo Woo - I too can't wait till our twenty week scan; it is finally less than a week away on 28th October!
AFM - I had my first Lazy Daisy class last week and a few of you asked for feedback - I really enjoyed it, although I was the least pregnant person there by quite a bit; I am obviously too keen! For the first session we did a lot of work on breathing techniques which will apparently be helpful for dealing with early contractions. We also did lots of different movements which might be helpful to get baby to change position once it gets a bit bigger.
I'd love to join the facebook group too please - going to send you a message now Fur Mummy ;-)

Yes I'm in the group - hope to see you there soon! x

That's weird as I don't have any messages?
22/10/2014 at 14:59
Try adding me as a friend and I'll add you.

Thanks Furmummy - I've sent you a request. Many thanks X
