DS - You will cope, especially if you have a supportive H. I don't know anyone pregnant with their third who hasn't had this freak out. I'm having that freak out about just 1!! Good idea about a weekly thread if it doesn't pick up on here.
AFM- had a day off yest and had a spa day with my best friend-amazing. Had to come home and work late on work I was too tired to do Fri. So after a crappy night sleep on top of that, I'm sleepy again. Will try to work at a chilled pace today. Not much to report. Still not feeling huge amounts from baby but Im guessing that's due to anterior placenta.

I had a spa trip Sunday night and yesterday too was lovely but came back more tired than when I went! Hope you feel more movements soon. Xx
AFM I've got my consultant appt today for my blood disorder and midwife on Friday so a busy week! I'm 28 weeks on Friday, when I do move over to third tri?

When do I join this thread? Not sure when the 2nd trimester starts!

Rio - thanks lovely, it was just one of those days yesterday. Glad you had a lovely time at the spa despite having to come away to do work. I hope you have a chilled day today.
Mrs L - my app says 28 weeks is the start of 3rd tri. I hope your appointment goes well today.
AFM - I had a small lie in as H took the kids downstairs for a camp out in the living room last night. I couldn't get to sleep easily as my hips were hurting and my legs were restless. Hopefully it was a one-off but I doubt it. I've got a couple of friends coming over today, so we're off to our beach hut for lunch.
I hope everyone else is ok.

Furmummy - it can be either 13, 13+3 or 14 weeks. The choice is yours x

I had my 12 week scan yesterday and was moved forward so today I am 13 + 1.
The sickness is starting ease off and I'm super excited to finally have made it! Did a bit of baby shopping yesterday. Super excited.

Just back from our week away & thought I'd post here first before I make the move to the 3rd tri (eek!)
Rio: Spa day sounds lovely. Don't worry about movements. I had an anterior placenta last time & only felt little movements around 23-24 weeks then they gradually built up but still didn't get definite kicks, more like ripples & somersault feelings.
MrsL: Hope your appointment goes well today & then your midwife, 28 weeks seems a busy appointment time! See you on 3rd tri soon x
DS: Sorry to hear you're not sleeping well. Have you tried sleeping on a pillow under your bump vertically?
Furmummy: Dates of starts of different trimesters seem to vary a lot, post where you want to!! Glad to hear all is well after your bleed, it's such a relief to see the scan & reach 12 weeks x
AFM: I've just got back from a week in France & feel properly big & pregnant now. I tried to make the most of getting my h to do stuff whilst he was around! As I was away last week (when I was 28 weeks) I've had to split the appointments so I had my GTT before I went & have been taking iron tablets as a result. Then tomorrow I see my mw (for the 1st time since 16 weeks which seems crazy!!) & get my anti D jab & I hope to talk to her about what happens for a home birth, then on Friday I've booked my whooping cough jab! Oh & tonight I must remember to go to my 1st lazy daisy birthing class (& hope I don't relax too much that I go to sleep!!).
Take care all & see you in the 3rd tri x

DS hope you had a nice day x
Furmummy welcome to second tri
Blackkat sounds like you have a busy week ahead, hope you enjoyed France
AFM well appointment didn't go like I thought it would. I think I expected to just have a small note in my birth plan and be discharged but I need to have regular blood tests between now and full term. Hopefully my clotting levels reach a normal level as if not I won't be allowed an epidural if I need one and if it went to c section stage I'd have to be under general anaesthetic which really upset me. However my levels of clotting have risen since being pregnant as they do naturally and had more tests today to see how much more they have risen so need to wait a couple of weeks to get those back and see where we are. :(

Mrs L that's a similar situation to me - I won't be allowed an epidural either which is scary but as long as baby gets here okay I don't really care.
It is upsetting though especially if you weren't prepared for it. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that for you.

MrsL big hugs. See what the situation is nearer the time.
