Try to keep yourself busy & try not to think about it. So read books, watch films you've always wanted to watch, go Christmas shopping (or make lists). I'm in the same boat (although this is my 2nd so I knew he wouldn't come early!!). Unfortunately there aren't any sure fire ways of getting baby moving & I'm sure you've read them all. I tried the pineapple & curries last time but the pineapple burnt my tongue & the curries messed up my tummy so not doing either of these.
The only things I'm doing are bouncing on my ball & trying to go for a walk most days, also hoping to persuade Hubby to try to end the pregnancy the way it started!!!
Take care & remember you won't be pregnant forever (I posted a thread today that I felt like I would be!!) so probably less than 2 weeks to go.
Good luck & keep us informed.

Good luck ladies, I'm the opposite in that my mw wanted me to have a sweep last week & has set 1 up for me for Thursday (she's on holiday so I'm seeing someone else) which I have declined.
My hubby doesn't seem to keen in helping me get the baby out in that way but hopefully my baby won't be too much longer & yours too
Hope to see your birth announcements soon x x

How annoying, I told my mum that I'd tell her when I had something to tell her & she seems to have backed off a bit. I'm now 6 days over my NHS due date but I'm now sticking to my own due date (worked out through knowing my cycles very well) so actually only consider myself 2 days over. Wish I'd never mentioned my due date to anyone but didn't have this last time!
Abbey: hope the sweep leads to labour for you but remember that you don't have to accept an induction if you don't want to, it's completely your choice. Take care.
Lottie: Hope your labour is here shortly too & that people leave you alone.
I've got my mw appointment tomorrow with a different midwife as mine is on holiday. Really hope she's nice & supportive in my choice to refuse sweeps & induction.
Baby vibes to us all x x

Sorry to hear it's worn off but glad you had a good night's sleep. I slept really badly, think I was worrying about seeing diff mw, but she was lovely. More frustrated that the friend I was meant to be meeting today had her baby overnight at 38 weeks, so jealous! There is only 1 mw on call until 9am (you need 2 for a homebirth) so need baby to wait until at least tomorrow, although I've not had any signs that he might be on his way so I'm fairly sure he'll have a Nov birthday!
It's funny to wish yourself to be in pain isn't it!! I feel too good to be at the end of my pregnancy which is actually very annoying!! Take care x

Excited for you Abbey (although also very jealous as everyone I know seems to be having their babies before me!!). I joked about our baby being born on Halloween as we call him Baby Pumpkin but it looks like you predicted correctly. Really hope things go smoothly for you x
