I have been told by medical professionals, both doctor and midwife on separate occasions although bleeding / cramps should be looked into when pregnany it can be completely normal - slight twinges is the body making room! Some Women do bleed during pregnancy & continue full term!
Unfortunately I am not one of those women. I suffered my second miscarriage last week. Yesterday I would have been 9 weeks. My first miscarriage was in June this year so I know only too well how hard the second pregnancy is & how aware you are of every feeling, hoping it's 'normal'.
In my first mc it was slight colour pale yellow which turned to bright red over a day or so - longest week of my life docs saying it could go either way. At 6 weeks they said too early to scan. Eventually I bleed like a normal period, not much cramping at all & passed naturally.
My second mc started very watery colour, again only during wiping. Then pale brown. due to left shoulder tip pain & HCG not rising on weekly blood tests I worried it was ectopic. Went to a&e, doc reassured me it wasn't ectopic as shoulder was dull ache, and no crumpling abdomen pain. I showed her a photo of toilet tissue after wiping & she said she wouldn't class as a bleed, very pale brown indicates old blood, perhaps from outside the womb. A scan the next day (extremely hard to get) confirmed foetus made it to the right spot! (Not ectopic) but measured at just 5-6weeks, no heart beat.
Sorry for all the info but goes to show bleeding can start faint / pale / brown / orangey-yellow / no pain & both mine resulted in miscarriage. BUT there are women out there who will have bled during pregnancies & gone on to have healthy babies.
It doesn't help put your mind to rest but every pregnancy is different & I hope yours continues perfectly.
Keep talking & let us know how you get on.These forums are great at showing us we are not as alone as we feel xxx

So I just got a positive pregnancy test 3 weeks and today I had a ultrasound done today and the Dr did not see a baby only a sad they did blood test to check hcg levels and it came back 3065 charts say I'm 5weeks but from my last period was Aug. 15th which would mean I'm 9 weeks... So does anyone have an opinion on this... My ob wants me to come back Thur for another hcg test level. I'm scared that I'm no longer pregnant...

Bb I'm 13 weeks pregnant and I still get that now and the start it was greeny/yellow midwife told me it was my plug forming and for the cramps it's normal due to your womb growing rapidly as you are growing a baby. I have had 2 mc and I found it hard with every ache and thing but if you are concerned i would go to your dr. i had brown d for 2 days when I found out I was pregnant and I thought oh here we go again but it was implantation bleeding and everything is going well. I get cramps when I should be on my period it's jus everything is growing and organs pushing back hope this helped x

The doctors did say not to get too hung up on HCG. They do like to see it doubling every 48 hours or so... but can level off.
Having said that I too should have been 9 weeks today. Had a scan last week at 8wks which measured at 5-6 & looked perfect at that stage, with my HCG being only 858 it didn't look good. I knew period was 15th Aug also.
As you are well into your thousands I'd say it's a good sign but wait & see, relax as much as you can - impossible I know!!
Please let us know how you get on. Sending hugs xx
