I've just found out that I am pregnant and I am starting to experience cramping/ pains in my stomach. I am concerned as I don't know whether this is normal or not

Hi it can be normal but if it is only on one side or you have other symptoms to suggest a urine infection for instance need to get seen by a GP or midwife.
They will be concerned if it is only on one side and will warrant an early scan but doesn't always mean there is something wrong. They would want to check the location of the pregnancy. No bleeding and no heavy discharge is also a good sign. I hope this helps

Ive just been having cramping in the stomach- no blood or anything. However, I went into A&E last night and they took blood tests and a urine sample. They told me that it doesn't sound like it could be an ectopic, but they've referred me to the AEPU to run some more blood tests and scans... Little bit worried now as I had read online that pains is quite normal in pregnancy
