How was everybody's weekend?
We took Dex to see santa on a train in York on Friday. We had a lovely time. But it was so cold! I think I've been starting to feel very faint movements from the twins. But I'm just not sure. We have a growth scan tomorrow morning so fingers crossed that they are both growing well and there is no sign of TTTS.
Anybody got any sign of snow yet? I keep hearing talk of it but no sign here.

Hey, sorry I haven't been on for ages. Been on full steam nesting mode since maternity leave and not had a spare mo.
MS-so exciting re potential movements! Good luck for scan!
JJ-i found Mothercare really helpful at fitting me.
AFM-still no sign here. Cant wait to meet baby now. I have a sweep on Thurs and induction starts next Tues due to GD, so hopefully not long until I meet baby now! I am in shock at how many clothes and toys we have already acquired-struggling to find space and he's not here yet!

JJ- I got my nursing bras from Debenhams. I don't think you can ever be "ready" no matter how much you try to prepare it's a big ajustment, it was for me anyway. But totally worth it. You'll be fine. I think it's just one of those things where you learn on the job.
Rio- sending you vibes that things get going before next Tuesday. Fingers crossed the sweep works for you. Do you know if baby is engaged etc?

MS - Ah York is so lovely, especially at Christmas! Fingers crossed for your growth scan tomorrow. No snow here (Leeds), hoping it stays that way!
JJ - Congratulations on full term! Not long left now :) Hope you manage to sort out the nursing bras.
Rio - How exciting, not long left at all now!
AFM - Busy weekend decorating the playroom, painting all done now we just need to find some pictures/curtains/flooring etc which is proving difficult as we have very different tastes! Baby wise, getting plenty of movements now, 25 week MW appt on Weds, it feels like ages since I've seen anyone so weirdly looking forward to it, and hoping we get to hear the HB.

W-enjoy the MW appt !
MS-baby engaged and been having loads of braxton hicks most of the day for the last couple of weeks, so I am really hoping the sweep is successful. But I think it is less likely pre-40 weeks, so we shall see.

MS - exciting about the movement from the twins. Hope the scan all went/goes well today.
JJ - yay for full term. I don't think we felt "ready" or that things were actually "real" with having M until we walked through the front door with her sat down in the living room and it hit us, we had a baby to look after!
Rio - hopefully not too long now until you meet him.
Woowoo - mw tomorrow and I'm sure you'll hear the hb then. :)
AFM - had my 36wk mw yesterday. All well bump still measuring ahead at 39 weeks and 1/5 engaged - no wonder I'm so uncomfortable! I have another scan followed by cons on Tues to see how the fluid levels are and whether or not that will impact anything on delivery. From what mw said yesterday, it sounds the most likely situation is that I'll be induced so they can control when it happens and have people there ready for when my waters go to check baby & cord don't come too quickly. So still in limbo and just waiting to see what happens.

MS - I hope your growth scan goes well today and that you are feeling the movements of your LOs.
JJ - I hope you have more success today with your nursing bras.
Rio - I hope your sweep is successful - I bet you'll queue jump me, lol!
WW - Glad you're getting lots of movements, hope you hear the hb tomorrow - I'm sure you will anyway!
S - At least they're getting plans in place for you x
AFM - DD today, and no sign of anything happening! I've got the MW this afternoon but I won't be having a sweep until 41 weeks as L managed to come along without one, so I'm hoping this one will be a repeat. I'm hoping LO will be born on 12/12 so I have the full set - O was born on 11/11 and L was 1/1! Typically, I've developed piles - Sod's Law that I get them in the last pregnancy, a few days before DD -
Hope everyone else is ok.

Sapphire - sorry you are uncomfortable. Good luck for your scan next week. Fingers crossed that there isn't too much fluid.
DS - fingers crossed you won't need that sweep.
AFM- scan this morning showed that we are having two boys. No signs of any twin to twin transfusion syndrome. So very happy with that. But one twin us smaller than the other. So they are keeping an eye on him to make sure that he is growing well. I'll be scanned again next Thursday.

DS - fingers crossed you won't need that sweep. Also, that would be very cool if you do get your little set with baby arriving on 12/12!
MS - glad everything is going well with your little boys!
AFM - I woke up at 4 this morning and eventually got back to sleep around 6ish, thankfully H hardly disturbed me when he left and M let me sleep in until 8 to make up for it. So feeling pretty rested.

MS - so pleased your scan went well, glad they're going to keep an eye on your littlest boy x
S - early wake ups are rubbish but glad you got some extra time in bed to make up for it.
AFM - still here, still pregnant - no niggles today though I had about 8 hours worth of BHs on Wednesday afternoon/evening. I don't think I'll have a 12/12 baby at this rate as I've been resting in bed all day after waking at 3am! I just feel exhausted. Oh well.
I hope everyone else is ok.

There is still time yet DS! Glad you are resting when needed. Still very pregnant here too and BHs seemed to have reduced. They couldn't do the sweep yesterday.
