Hi ladies, sat here waiting for my expressing bits to sterilise so thought I would say hi!
Have started to write my BS but suffice to say it was an amazing experience especially after I.
Sophie is gorgeous and her big sister seems not too peed off at her being here!!
Once again we are struggling with bf'ing but are trying hard and as well as trying to latch her on am expressing afterwards and syringing that into her so she is getting plenty. She won't take enough boob in,seeing someone again on Monday so thought best to express too for now so I don't give up like I nearly did at 3 a.m. last night. Will give it my best shot and am sure I will be on here for loads of advice.
We have forgotten EVERYTHING about having a newborn but loving it.
Congrats to BW and Hep, I look forward to a 4th tri soon xx

Congratulations VE! Are you still in hospital or are you home?
Sounds like it all happened fast in the end
Can't wait to hear all about it. Keep going with the feeding and expressing, sounds like you're doing great!

In the end we were there an hour before she arrived and 4 after. It was so busy and no beds... How is feeding going for you?

You ladies who had a quick discharge, do you feel a bit shell shocked after? I was in 4 days after s so can't imagine coming straight home!

I really liked having a 6hr discharge as it meant I was home with my own things really quickly. We were just left in the delivery room on our own for hours, was lovely.
Feeding is going well VE, Iris is ravenous and my nips are SORE but milk is coming in and I'm feeding through the ouchyness. Day 3 midwife visit today so going to get her latch checked just in case. Think my nips just need to toughen up again though.
How are you recovering?
